Mine was during my service year,from warri to Makurdi to lafia, December 21 2013 precisely. Went to the park to book the day before, they had already finished booking the first and second bus and so I was the fourth passenger on the third bus. I woke up around 5 a.m that day, went to the park, waited and waited till about 7 a.m. only for one of the company staff to come and tell us that they only sent 2 buses, hence they'd be refunding our money. Oya now, after all the argument and insults I and some other guys decided to try breaking the journey at least to Enugu. bad as e bad we go get motor to Makurdi or so we thought! after another round of booking and waiting we finally left the park. Spent 2 hours on Niger bridge at Onitsha.5 p.m I was still in Enugu! na journey wey suppose take 10-12 hours max I done reach house. calls from parents and all started coming in, i just had to stop picking the calls. 10 p.m o was around Oturkpo on Benue state. long story short I got home around 1a.m, looking like a zombie18 hours after I left my house.
