PoliticsLate UNIMAID Prof’s Brother To Shekau:you Are A Dead Man Waiting To Go To Hell by mmb(op): 8:01am On Feb 04, 2017
Malam Usman Abbas, a younger brother to late Prof. Aliyu Usman Mani, who was killed during a suicide bomb attack at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has said Abubakar Shekau is a “dead man waiting to go to hell”.

Usman stated this in an open letter to Abubakar Shekau, factional leader of the Boko Haram insurgents, which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Thursday.

“I listened to your audio message in which you claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack that killed my brother Professor Aliyu Usman Mani and others during subh (early morning) prayer at the University of Maiduguri Staff quarters mosque on Monday January 16, 2017.

“I am addressing this letter to you and calling you “dead” because your filthy, satanic, useless and lost soul is just wandering on earth waiting to get to hell where you have earned yourself permanent residency in the deepest and most painful part of it.

“Contrary to your claim in most of your video or audio messages, the innocent people you kill are better than you in the sight of both human beings and Allah and you are the one surely going to hell.

“Your soul will never smell heaven.

“The tears I shed on the death of my brother were for my personal loss. For the deceased however, I am extremely happy because he died in a mosque, praying (in ruku’u), fasting on a Monday and was killed by your bomb.

“Given a choice, I would not mind the same type of death.

“His death was very painful but I want to assure you that you cannot stop us from going to the mosque to pray, neither can you stop us from seeking for and obtaining knowledge and education (both Islamic and western).

“We have no doubt lost a brother, father, grandfather, Professor, gentleman, pillar of support, guardian and a good man but we have gained a martyr.

“We are very proud of what Professor Aliyu Usman Mani achieved in life and in death, we are certain he died in one of the best possible ways to exit this world and that his hereafter is even better.

“In death, Professor Aliyu’s status was elevated, his popularity soared, his name heard beyond the academia, beyond the shores of Nigeria, his burial was attended by hundreds of people including my humble self and others from all walks of life prayed for him in private and in congregations at places of worship.

“You cannot change or take away the good things people said and are still saying about him neither can you change the bad things they said and are still saying about you.

“Even your parents, children and relations if you have any, cannot be proud of what you are doing not to talk of the country and Islam as a religion.

“You can only deceive the gullible, uneducated in both Islamic and western education and innocent boys and girls who did not know what they were doing into carrying out your devilish plans.

“If you are convinced that what you are doing is Islam and Almighty Allah is truly with you, then show your face, operate from a known and traceable address, use only male adults and do not brainwash small boys and girls into carrying out attacks on your behalf while you hide like a rat in a hole and claim heroism afterwards.

“I say you are already dead because “alive”, you the killer of Professor Aliyu Usman Mani, cannot show your face physically, cannot move around freely, cannot sleep peacefully, cannot command respect willfully.

” You cannot do anything normally, you cannot enjoy life fully, you can only live in the bush with your cousins the wild animals tamely, and will surely die miserably without the privilege of a proper burial,” said Usman in the letter.

PoliticsBorno Donates 5000 Hectares For Army University by mmb(op): 1:17pm On Feb 01, 2017
The Borno State Government has allocated 5000 hectares of land to the Nigerian Army in Biu Local Government Area for the construction of the Nigerian Army University of Science, Technology and Innovation (NAUSTI).

Governor Kashim Shettima announced the donation in Biu, at the matriculation ceremony and commissioning of permanent site of the Nigerian Army Institute of Technology and Environmental Studies (NAITES), which was relocated to Biu from Makurdi in Benue state.
Governor Shettima represented by the state Commissioner of Inter-governmental Affairs and Special Duties, Alhaji Ali Abatcha, said the relocation of NAITES to Biu has provided more military presence which he said would enhance security in the north east zone.

He commended the Nigeria Army for defeating Boko Haram terrorists in the state, adding that the gesture has further demonstrated that Nigerian soldiers are patriotic enough to protect Nigerian citizens and its territory against any harmful thing.
In his remarks, Rector of NAITES, Major General Clement Olubunmi Ojo, said that 91 students both military and civilians were matriculated for the various departments in the school of Management Science which is the only school currently relocated to Biu for 2016/2017 academic session.

He added that Schools of Engineering, Environmental Studies, General Studies and School of Natural and Applied Science are still at Makurdi, adding that “more structure will be put in place before the relocation of other schools to Biu.”

General Ojo warned the new students to stay away from all form of crimes especially cultism, saying the institute has zero tolerance for cultism and any student found wanting in engaging in any form of cultism would be dealt with.
The Rector said a total of 27 academic and non-academic personnel are currently at Biu campus to ensure that all academic activities are in progress.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, said NAITES was established about 12 years ago, to provide education for both military and civilians students in various disciplines.
Represented by Commander of Nigerian Army Armored Corps (NAAC) Bauchi, Major General Austin Edokpayi, the COAS urged the students to take their education seriously in order to contribute their quota in moving the country forward.

Christianity EtcOlumba Olumba Warns Trump "You Must Stop Provoking God" by mmb(op): 6:29am On Jan 30, 2017
The spiritual leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Olumba Olumba Obu, has said that by the tension his one week in office has created around the world, the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has provoked God and will soon earn the wrath of God.

He said also that before long the United States Congress would disappoint him by throwing out all the harsh executive orders which he has signed in his first one week in office.

Addressing huge crowds of worshippers and guests at his international headquarters in Calabar on importance of love and unity, the cleric said Trump was working against the Holy Spirit by causing division, disaffection and hatred thinking he was pleasing the American electorate.

He said, “President Donald Trump thinks he is working to please the electorate. He does not know that he is offending the Holy Spirit by causing disaffection, hatred, division amongst not only American people but people around the world… Trump should not provoke God to bring down His wrath on the US. They should be very careful about threat to deport the so-called foreigners.”
