Simple truth is that most people from Benue State, Tiv people, in particular, have farms no matter their profession. It is a cultural thing. All the same, I commend this woman for being a true 'daughter of the soil'.

I hope you also see how the hubby is behind her too ba? Not To only notice the womans hussle and ignore the hubby's role a man is expected to play. Do you notice she is not doing it with baby strapped to her back? Many NL boys expect the woman to do it all. Go hussle, make my food, wash my clothes pay the bills and dont dare ask for my help in the home front shocked shocked A good wife/woman need the support of her man to achieve much.
I commend the OP but most importantly, I commend her husband, He is one in a million, he dug in with his wife and did not feel oppressed by her reliance on him to help in child care and helping her without feeling like his Ego is being thrown away. God bless him. A good wife is hard to find but a reliable husband is a rare gem indeed.
Thank you!

although its really somehow hiring a maid on olx
but am sure the people condemning the parents are the ones that have resigned to faith cos they couldnt get a job
why are the parents working if not for the children
For your information, there are many mothers who had to resign from their jobs so they can be available for their children. So please its not always the case that they couldn't get a job. Truth is that times have changed. We hear of even cases of child abuse because some parent somewhere left their little ones to some individual because of some job. We hear all sorts. I am a parent myself. If husband works from morning to night, then wife can run a business or something like that. There is always a way. We are all learning. By God's grace, those children will be found in Jesus name.
