I'm actually expecting PDP to use this for propaganda..

Before Wednesday, you will see some rag tag flat head protesting after they have been paid pattry and claiming to be a member of the community.
We can't be fooled, we know how e dey go.. They want to cry genocide so bad, they'll arrange actors to suit their agenda...

onatisi:
onatisi no dey argue ooo. Lets just keep our fingers crossed and hear the situation report of the whole thing later this week.
You don't need to argue, you have plans as usual... you refuse to suggest a solution to oIjaw pipeline criminals' maiming and killing of people in their communities, people who if it's to be believed are your kith and kin.. answer that, if you really can in good faith.

We know the ways of you political actors, everything and anything can be capitalised on to further your political agenda... Anyway if you are really in Ghana and still being so anti Yoruba interest and stability, then it's double shame...

People will be typing rubbish from Uk and Us giving updates of what is happening in lagos and Ogun

Some that ve never been to lagos but leave in their village will join them

I have stayed in arepo before and I have seen this bunkering activities. The ijaws are the ones sent to the creeks with ammunition where the pipeline is..Also assisted by some yoruba women and men

infact some ijaw women are like the warlord that give orders and even tax some yoruba bunkerers to operate

Baale of arepo is also involved

So the millitants are predominantly ijaws they call the shots

Let me educate some ignorant folks here

where the pipeline is and the millitants camp is some kms away from the residential area..infact you need to take a boat to get there

when there is a fight on ijaws boys they relocate to the creek area as that is their strength

So as military and navy entered arepo they ran to the creeks they ve killed DSS men there before. .So they always feel confident

but that was a tactic from the military as navy as blocked them on the ikorodu water way and in arepo so they were trapped making calls from the creek. Air Force carried surveillance to determine their location and used air power to dislodge them

Every one killed are millitants or women that also aid them and also into the business
Please create a thread about this and mention the following people..

Aresa, hangm0nd,manmountain whativeidone, omenka, superstar1, dropshot, ramdeuter, ikarm17 etc

His question had a simple answer, the herdsmen killing people are not camped anywhere in the middle belt. Who are the military going to bomb, the ones being killed by the marauding herdsmen? Till this moment I have not seen any genuine Nigerian picture of a herdsman with an AK47, all you see are pictures from Kenya and Uganda. I have challenged anyone to show me a herdsman in Nigeria camped or walking anywhere with assault rifles till date and none has been found.
Conversely, the militants are fully camped in Arepo and environs terrorizing and killing residents at will chasing all away from their abodes just because they dare to challenge their pipeline bursting activities.
So am wondering who the military is going to pound in Benue or Plateau.
My bros,God bless you plentiful.. we don explain this taya but they always chose not to understand, since it's not in conformity with their divisive agenda.

One thing i still don't get in all dis una angst and protest is this; should the military just unlook while criminals intimidate, maim and kill people in their own homes?

That is the problem with majority of Nigerians, they simply dont have the ability to think far ahead. With the huge number of soldiers and weapons that Nigeria has ,why should a handful of militants operating in a creek require 3 days of aerial bombardment in a civilian area to dislodge them??
Is this the modern way of moping out criminals from creeks?
By Friday when the real number of civilians and innocent ppl killed begin to come out ,the same ppl hailing the army now will start insulting buhari. Nigerians only think after taking action they dont think before taking it. Most of those militants must have left the area since they knew the military were coming because the military gave the warning. No sensible militant will wait to be killed, most of those killed will be those innocent civilians living or working in that area.
Onatisi, thou protest too much!! cool

Who told you the militants are sensible? Simply cos you are sympathetic to their cause does not mean they are so smart, they aren't, they are just violent, so people tend to give them space..

Do not allow your distaste for Buhari and everything he is deprive you of balance and objective analysis, you don't live around the area, the people who do aren't crying like most of y'all on NL.

The innocent civilians were given advance notice to clear out of the creeks, that there will be collateral damage is a fact of life but the Ijaw militants terrrorising south west will be hit..

Initially, I was a supporter of their agitation to control what is under their land, not anymore, ,not since they decided to terrorise my people in our land, no bueno.. they can't continue to beat the drums of war and hide in camps in the creek, they should back up their talk with action..

The op mentioned how the army killed about 100 militants and I was wondering why they haven't done that to the herdsmen that are destroying Benue.
I sincerely don't have any defense for the Benue menace.... It's inexcusable and demoralizing... However i won't feign ignorance and pretend not to know the kind of effect having a CDS from a region will have on its security...

Also, the Ijaws in Ajegunle way back when won't forget OPC in a hurry, I'm sure govt wouldn't want inter ethnic strife , so they had to quickly take charge..

Two simple reasons...

1. The residents of the communities will no longer be terrorised in their own homes, that is a source of pain cos they can no longer taunt the yorubas...

2. The superior fire power of the military has impressed upon them what is in stock for the vandals and criminals they've been cheering on....

Nothing else ...

There is no reason to kill anybody for drug trafficking
Selling of counterfeit drugs is worse than trafficking of hard drugs yet nobody has been sentenced to death for counterfeiting of drugs.
So far as there are customers that utilizes these hard drugs being trafficked, trafficking will not stop.
I can't see the crime in hard drug trafficking that justify the death sentence that some countries always put up against it.
There is every reason to kill people for drug trafficking,. It is unimaginable greed that blinds and deafens people who go into it.... They serve as deterrent to others like them who have no respect for laws of the lands.

Capital punishment may not totally eradicate the scourge of drug trafficking, it however greatly reduces the nos of people willing to risk death in order to live above their means and stations in life... No excuse is tenable, drug trafficking is a choice, labourers and artisans are living, there are always options..

Drug counterfeiters get away with it in this clime because people get away with everything and anything.. That you live in a lawless banana republic has blunted you to the realities of the world..... There are always rewards for wrong doing...

Indonesia and some other Asian countries have chosen their mode, they didn't ask lazy and greedy Nigerians to come dare their laws....

In China people were put to death for selling tainted milk.... That is a system that WORKS..

I stand with capital punishment for drug offences.. cool

Let the APC government foolishly go on with the attack. Let us see how it would play out and see if the whole oil infrastructure is not set ablaze by the militants. Arepo is not Niger delta.
Nobody is willing to lay down his life for arepo, the landlords are now in refugee camps and the owners of the land have abandoned the land and relying on military help
This is my last salvo, i refuse to engage in emotional argument.... unlike Arepo that the vandals are strangers and won't be able to return to when the military onslaught is over, the inhabitants never courted trouble, criminals came to their land ...they will be fine thereafter, Law enforcement is for their protection till the coast is clear, then life will return to normal..

The creeks are HOME to these vandals and they are the ones that invited trouble , so there isn't any comparison between such disimlar circumstances... When the "war" is over soldiers will station a base in their lands to intimidate and cow them into submission... They are aggressors , Arepo are victims..

The Fed govt of Nigeria will rout the vandals , all you can do is to remain online to lament and wail about genocide.... Freedom fighting does not involve kidnapping, carnage , vandalism and corruption..

Bye!! cool

The end of the war against Niger delta militants might mean the end of Nigeria, Niger delta can not be blockaded because of the coast and creeks.

The war would spill over to the east and you will have some Igbos fighting to finish Nigeria.

All I pray is for the APC government to drop their stupidity and ignorance and embrace wisdom.
Abegiiiiiiii ..... Mouth action don start again......

All you should pray for is that the scavengers themselves (+their sympathizers) embrace wisdom before Armageddon begin to rain on them.....

No one is in any doubt about the true intentions of the scavengers... In what way does the release of Dasuki, Kanu and discontinuation of criminal proceedings against alleged corrupt figures help the fortunes of the man on the street of warri, yenagoa or eket?

There is no declaration of civil war, it will just be a clean up mission, I'm neither for(collateral damage purely) nor against it, what needs to be done just must be done.. it's action and reaction..

You know none of that will be entertained....
