I condemn the activities of those wicked militants/vandals but the truth is that the military must make sure they finish this.

The way it is looking those areas might have to be miliotarised for a long time.

I pray the military don't leave because if they do, the rest na story oo.
Leave ke? Bawo? Ko jo..

Not in the forseeable future.. From feelers, these dregs of the earth have resurfaced in the creeks around Ilaje ,Ese Odo LGs of Ondo state, they won't be at home for long, Armageddon will follow them there...

Still wondering why some people are averse to honest , responsible means of earning a living... Mofos dem.

[s]Typical Yoruba Thugs. -Only a fool will think those killers are Niger Delta Millitants.[/s]
They may or may not be your brothers but you can't be in ND and be typing crap, take a trip to the creeks around Arepo, Elepete, Igbo Olomu etc to check out the corpses to ascertain the region where the human waste originated from..

Anyway, their identity does not matter, all that matters is that criminal vandals that have been terrorising those communities have been decimated to the point of making regrouping almost impossible....

Myopic I'd say...
Nigerians need to respect whatever choices the great Igbo nation makes in certain situations
We're a 40million strong nation... That we decided for now to be Nigerians doesn't mean we should be trampled upon! undecided
Nope, You need to change your Kool aid!! It's distorting your perception of history..

Lord Lugard of Great Britain made that decision, Late Nnamdi Azikiwe ensured it was one that can't be peacefully opted out of....

Nobody is trampling on anybody, that victim mode blackmail is so 1916.

I like that you mentioned choices and as we all know choices have results and consequences. Before people make their choices, they should think it through, be conscious of what it entails and be bold enough to face the consequences squarely.

What man sows, he reaps and feeds his family on. cool

pointing out that if Ndigbo were adequately accommodated as stakeholders, they would be contented.
What they NEED to learn most of all is RESPECT!!!. Respect other people's right to make choices that suits them and best serve their interests.. Self preservation is human's first instinct, no guard dog can watch over two residences at the same time..

Learn to accommodate alternative/ differing opinions and views.... everyone can't agree all the time, no one wins all the time & bridge building is KEY.

Live and let live and everybody will be fine. cool

I believe the WHO and UN need to research into the Igbo ability to nurture hate and bequeath/inherit hate.

Once the hate can be eradicate as a disease from the Igbo patient, the world would have managed to eradicate hate as a cause of conflict world wide.

An Igbo man is ready to separate himself from himself just to enable him hate himself as reaction to an enemy doing him any good.

Buhari asked Dogara to make Jibrin Appropriations chair in appreciation of his assistance..

Buhari asked Dogara and Jibrin to pad budget...

Buhari sent the spirit of Edi & Asasi to Dogara and made him relieve Jibrin of his position despite the rotten beans they cooked & covered up......

Buhari finally transmuted into Jibrin's body who has made it his new found mission to destroy his Dogara.

Yoruba don't play that game, Yoruba aren't violent aggressors but when push comes to shove, Yoruba will take care of what's theirs.... Criminals will think twice about leaving their lands to foment trouble in our peaceful region, they will learn the hard way..

Tonyebarcanista , Yoruba will protect non Yoruba in their territory like Adekunle Fajuyi of blessed memory did for Ironsi and still whip errant kids like it was the case during Oleku ija Ore and OPC vs Ijaw in Ajegunle to name a few...

Criminals and their flat cheer squad should not take their meekness for weakness.... Getting killed by soldiers over lost causes is not bravery, it's stupidity and lack of strategic planning/execution... cool

Mo, you can see that the only language understood in this country is violence.

The northerners threatened the nation with violence and got back their presidency.

The fulani herdsmen are also trying to use violence to make us hand over our lands to them as grazing field.
2 things.

1. Did the FG ever declined paying the 30,000 ex agitators on their payroll? The same one that have been since '07? If you are not sure, kindly research biko, don't be like your acolytes.

2. Are the scavengers' nonsense demand being entertained in anyway shape or form?

Violence indeed!!! We've seen the oil blocs, express roads, better living etc Continue with your mischief, u do well smiley

Let's first clear something, I agree with your point.. You put it succinctly, just wanna expatiate with a TWIST.

Amosun is the closest we have to Arole, but outside of his main domain, he is more known to we the politically savvy & bookish, his MOJO isn't really being felt by folks in Ilara Mokin / Otun Ekiti/ Lanlate, & such places (you should be able to grab my point) which will limit his reach and influence.

The dynamics of today's politics has changed so much, I so dearly wish but it would be hard to get kingmakers a la Tinubu & our old demon!

Omofunaab,

Segun Oni? I regret to say it but only Fayose is enough for him...His present post is a product of tinubu's goodwill, he has as much influence as I do over my 1yr old's sleeping pattern, in simple term, None, Nada, zilch, zero... Since his court sacking, he hasn't been able to Marshall any strong political stand, no Segun Oni isn't the great yoruba hope. smiley

They would have did same by attacking those herdsmen that killed over 500 people in benue and about 100 in Enugu states respectively.
Do herdsmen congregate in camps?
Seems we just like to argue for argument sake without examining peculiarities of each individual situation!!

BTW, I will never support Fulani murderous rage when their cattles are killed or stolen but it is on record that Obiano had to pay for some of the herdsmen stolen cows in order to avert an attack, which I will never disparage him for, life is sacred and must be protected by any means necessary.... however, Did Arepo, Ishawo and elepete and co people steal or deprive the vandals of anything?

The truth is, a guard dog cannot watch over two different residences on 2 different streets, my main concern is my people, however I wish every other group well.. thank you.
