Some of us defending Buhari hemmm- sorry Nigeria -have had 1 or 2 bitter experiences with Fulani herdsmen long before Buhari came to power.

What we hate to see is when politicians ,and their hirelings too, whose unhealthy actions yesterday while in office sustained and still sustaining all that is wrong with our nation trying to hide under the dog of the name Fulani to pin the consequences of their actions on PMB in order to hang him politically when it is obvious an assassination, budget sabotage, or financial accountability smear campaigns won't work. Unless they can tell us God made a mistake creating PMB a fulani. PMB always condemn all the violence in the country and has ordered the security agencies to deal with any group unleashing pain and death on Nigeria irrespective of tribe or tongue. We shall continue to defend what we think is right as we fought for a sholess boy from Otuoke to fulfill his God given right of becoming the president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Baba, Your last line brought back some nostalgic feelings, i could have traipsed to Aso Villa to drag Turai out by her hair or Hijab if it were possible for me, i was so mad with the way that woman was treating Jona.... Turai really tried it! Crazy woman.... & it's even funny now that the yoruba SNG that fought that battle have now been demonized by the people who didn't stand to be counted when it mattered... They disgust me no end honestly. These people have lost every single fibre in the heart that makes one human. You should see the look on my face reading their comments.

These are the same people that would come at someone claiming they are being hated for no reason. Imagine one comparing moving cattle around to rape, murder, and theft!! Tell me, how can one call such a thing "human"??

God forbid.
Someone mentioned that the ediots making most of these infantile comments aren't NECO/Jamb kids but real 40+ grown ups, I was so sad!!!

I won't lie, I do not like the practice cos apart from the eyesore it is, I've had two close shaves with them, once while been driven on Abj-Lkj while the Other was on airport road while I was at top speed, dem yeye cows just jump into the highway, Na God dat day..but I know it's not Buhari's fault so why the frenzy..

I always say something, all over the world, people's preferred candidates lose election but the losing side move on and regroup, Bubu recorded 3 back to back failures but he and his supporters didn't stay in one spot with a "woe is me" outlook!!!

The politics of Nigeria has changed from 1993. And sadly enough we must agree that APc played a very negative role in this. This nation right now is deeply deeply divided no thanks to apc negative opposition politics. But to give the youth and younger generations a chance in the scheme of things we need another 2 or 1 strong national political party. I am sure apc would have won the election if there was a strong third national party. But the way it was ,it was either u voted for apc or pdp. But imagine a party like kowa presenting a candidate like ribadu ,then Nigerians would have been presented with a variety of credible choices to choose from
Blame game again, very nice.. smiley smiley

Guess Janjaweid, Brain dead, Islamist, Born trowey are compliments and terms of endearment then.. smiley

P.S Don't want to go into lengthy debbate, would have asked about Ribadu's structure and how he failed as both a presidential then downgraded gubernatorial failure.... and why Prof Sonaiya of Kowa didnt record much vote despite being a less divisive option.... and i wont drink that yoot kool aid, compromised yoots dem!!! smiley

That is a big problem in Nigeria politics and unfortunately it wont move the nation forward . Just like u said 99% of today politicians see politics and political office as an investment. The solution I believe lies in Nigeria having 4 solid parties, and I think it is time Nigeria youth move to other parties. To be honest with ourselves there isn't any difference between pdp and APc. Youth must learn to start moving with ideology instead of moving with old generation politicians who see them as a tool for achieving their selfish political ambitions .
No, just two is the best, especially in a polity like ours, there wont be a way to regionalise or sectionalise any, if you are not here, you are there, doesn't allow for disloyalty and crisscrossing..... you mut by force learn how to compromise and build bridges...

Not one leg here, another leg there, one arm here , another arm there, hence why one individual will start from APC, claim segregation and jump to PDP, from there allege intimidation, move to LP, claim lack of major platform then hightail it to APGA....

Wish Babangida didnt tamper with the SDP/NRC formula, would have ended Nigeria's strife..

These 2 parties should look beyond getting members from each other. It only shows that their major aim is attaining power and not the upliftment of the masses. A good democratic party should be able to sensitize the grassroots about their party and to be able to attract members who aren't members of their opposition parties.
I agree with you wholeheartedly but the problem with Nigeria and Nigerians is that very very few good people go into politics, 99% are just there to loot and plunder, hence the vicious circle...... I dream and hope for the day that our politics will be less monetized, people with vision and drive will then rise up.... since the miscreants cant be bothered to spend money on top nothing.... No return on "investments'....

You have no stake in the PDP so you should keep away from its affairs. I am sure you fervently pray for a quick demise of the PDP and the subsequent subjugation of the country under a one party rule. Take it from me--it won't happen. The PDP will live through these challenges and continue to give APC political migraines.
But i do, i may stan for BUBU but i love my country more...i want a virile , productive and formidable opposition to keep it on him on his toes, we are not seeing it, dammit!!!!!

PDP just aint up to scratch, they have refused to CHANGE (pun not intended) their ways from the rascality, lack of internal democracy, refusal to listen to reason etc riddled ways.... We need a great opposition....

These men are snivelling because they have lost out in the power game. Everyone knows Sheriff has that position to keep. The region which should produce the National Chairman has decided to cede it to the North-East to help strengthen the party in the North.

What then is this noise by some political invalids? The PDP will live beyond May 21 and will continue to go from strength to strength. If any funeral would take place, it would be that of the broom wielding party in 2019.
I am 100% sure that you do not in your heart of hearts believe this assertion, when did the north meet to decide on a consensus candidate?

Or the PDP Gov's forum (who went shopping for a money miss road to fund the party,s activities) is now your definition of the north?

Have you been to Gbaramatu Kingdom?? I'm not a Fan of Tompolo, but the guy did things over there. That guy made sure nobody lived in a thatched house in the whole community...u can confirm.

Where he missed it was forgetting the people who made him ( ND people and some of his boys) cos the struggle was theirs not his personal project.

He began to see himself as a demi god and he can go down for all I care especially after the connivance to put that docile goat Okowa as Governor and his cousin as Deputy Governor of Delta state.

You made quite a lot of sense and I agree with your recommendations though but you have to know that these people we call leaders and politicians, they know what to do but won't do it. It's just too obvious that the contraption called Nigeria can't work as a country ( I mean we are divided along many lines).

When we have sincere leaders who have the interest of the people in mind, then we can get it but till then, 9ja is just a ticking time bomb
I've never been, aluminium roofed houses are ok but it isn't real progress, personal houses only show individual prosperity, it's not for communal good... I'd prefer stuff like Primary health care with the latest "bells and whistles", scholarships and youth empowerment ish, that is my definition of "trying" for people whose "struggled" made billionaire of him.....

The people (his own people BTW) who insist he has just used them to enrich himself and his unborn generations are probably using the yardstick of what real development (real world standard) entails...

As per sincerity of government, it's relative..who has been and who isn't? .... we live in a complex society delineated along tribal, sectional and religious fault lines, we also don't conform to any societal conventions.... one size doesn't fit all...

The problem with this is that one way or the other, a particular set will turn themselves to warlords and Lord it over the budding militants who will then continue the vicious circle.....without giving back mere crumbs to the communities on whose backs the "benefits" of the "struggle" are derived.

Tompolo has billions, one kindergarten centre, primary health care facility for at infants and mothers or vocational school to learn trades he didn't establish.

Someone should educate me, What crime did the MD commit? He's a banker, its his job to take money to keep and disburse when needed. You can't arrest a man for doing his legal duty.
Banks are supposed to report big transactions to EFCC/CBN/NFIU so they can ascertain that the funds are legitimate and not proceeds of crime or laundered cash.

None of the banks did, it was the INEC RECs that confessed and before you say it's PDP's campaign funds, no it wasn't... it was Tax the coys were supposed to remit to FIRS that Diezani gave them waivers on NNPC account details but asked them to give to bank MDs... Tax evasion dey wait those coys.
