Truckpusher:First let's clear something, You calling APC s demonic party is like a woman with a stinking stagnant pool of dirty water in her compound sending a bunch of broom to her neighbour to sweep the dirts & fallen leaves in hers (no pun intended)..... They are similar but one trumps the other.... Remove the log in your eyes before trying to remove the specks on your neighbour's eyelashes. Now let's discuss Saraki's matter, Saraki is a victim of his own inordinate ambition, I, it may be hard to believe rooted for Sarakki till the day of the coup cos I know he had all it takes to be an effective SP. Though I never knew the extent of his compulsive acquistive material desires, I know quite well like 99% of Nigerian politicians, he dips his hands periodically in the cookie jar, & t is caused by our lack of strong institution cos it is inherent in man to want to misbehave but the law of crime & punisshment ensures a Balance.. He still had my support cos he is actively involved in bringing to the fore germane issues that have deep impact, like the ecological disaster in Bagega & the exposure of the fuel subsidy scam.. Not to discount the fact that he is easier on the eye than Lawan & more articulate (women & vanity, it's allowed )He ruined everything not by going against the straw polls & reaching out to PDP senators but by staging that coup cos no matter how you hack it, it was a lowball action.. He should have done the dogara thing & be nominated on the floor & still getting the needed votes, not by sneaking into the NASS in a nondesript old model mazda hatchback,(his own words on how he came in undetected) & crouch till he has seen that the coast is clear & then come out to do his thing..... He isn't the only guilty one but unfortunately he doused himself with accelerant near an open bonfire... My 2k. |
Saraki wouldn't be fighting this hard if he is sure of beating the case. Gradually he is ggoing to erode any public sympathy he has going for him.. Still don't understand some folks escessive & obsessive desire to amass illicit wealth.. Only the reward of HARD & HONEST LABOUR has no comma!!! ![]() |
There is no hope of responsible journalism anywhere in this banana republic of ours... ![]() Even if they did, it's questionable that they'd have communicated that to blogs... SMH... |
The points he is trying to pass are as follows; 1. The more they perceive an attempt to appropriate, exclude and marginalize, the more vociferous they become. [b]In the long run, nobody may secede (General Gowon is right on this score), but the inequities of the Nigerian state must be addressed.2. The man who will save Nigeria is that leader who will engage Nigerians proactively on the issues of inclusion and cohesion, and thereby grant to every citizen, a sense of ownership beyond ethnic identity, a sense of belonging, and confidence in the Nigerian identity. When people relate to the state from a position of fear, and exclusion, they create the kind of problems we witness.3.

@IyeEjima.. Happy birthday sweerie, you just dey always give the devil uppercut, nothing can take away your joy... My only advise to you is to rock this hair wella cos next year, you will have your hand full with Nathan,Naomi & maybe Nicholas or Nicole that you will barely have time to even do ordinary weaving sef.. ![]() No how you can avoid it, God will embarass you with his favours & blessings cos you're worth it... Abeg share us E-cake ooo |
Smart child of an extraordinary woman... Nuff Respect.. Keep doing your country proud.. Even if she's adopted US as her home, She's still the great Dora's spawn with her roots firmly here.. Nigeria is blessed, harnessing it is our problem.. Hopefully we will get it right someday.. |
musKeeto:Bwaaaahahahhaha ... You are wicked ooo, Sew singlet is epic!! ![]() |
Firefire:I won't argue with any other point there cos it's subjective but please stop with the 240 Naira to a USD thing, it's not even about propaganda, it's verifiable falsehood... CBN' s rate for "legal purchases" with forms A & M is still 197, PTA for travellers is 199, Bank Cards is still 220, Parallel market is 225+ & even people trying to purchase inflow e dollars into dorm accounts won't buy at more than 230.... Parallel market is not the true estimation.. Take care. Attached is rates for this week..

TonyeBarcanista:Fix what things , quit with the jokes. ![]() You are living in delusion if you feel any of these lawmakers are there for anything but self preservation. PDP isn't returning to the national stage, even Ekweremadu will soon swim up from that sunk ship. Ekweremadu is biding his time, he's going to sooner rather than later claim he's defecting to give the Ibos a sense of belonging in the grand scheme of things... He will watch & let the dust settle first... Bookmark this post for posterity. .... |
PDP didn't lose out, they were only sold a DUMMY, They thought they would have Saraki's LOYALTY if they took his side against APC, They had amnesia about the fact that Saraki is a tie & dyed self preservationist... HIS AMBITION & QUEST FOR POWER IS NO 1 FOR HIM. Saraki gave them the impression that he is going to do their bidding. Jokes on them. Wonder how many will do Abobaku to his next court appearance. ![]() |
The million dollar question is; "how many PDP senators will he have in tow for his next court appearance"? |

NgeneUkwenu:Sometimes I wonder if they've lost track of the subject matter in question... Akpabio is an ineffective leader, he has taken his Akwa Ibom totalitarian rule to the national stage & the only reason it looks like he is being "followed" is simply because the party depends on him for funding.. |
FreeGlobe:One can't get anywhere fast if one stops to throw stones at EVERY BARKING DOG.. |
Will count how many PDP senators will "save the date" ![]() |
donphilopus:It's constitutional bros, the only problem is the moral angle but you & i know legality & morality are not synonymous in the Nigerian politician's world view. |
PointB:Must you ninnies argue just for the sake of it Did APC ask him to run as Senate President ...Go have Several uncomfortable seats for your wailing! |
Jorussia:I can't agree with you, irrespective of his stand, he'd have committed political suicide, He isn't my favorite person & is not likely to be anytime soon but based on the facts on ground, he did the right thing... Self interest & preservation may be the "side argument" for his action but he could not have gone with the PDP senators especially when what they were bellyaching about does not even have any."leg to stand"... My 2k |
ionsman:I totally agree with your signature & i tell myself everyday i'd waka pass inane threads & posts but just can't help but try to dispel a bit of ignorance. ... I was warned ydy by coldsummer to desist from doing that & invest the time in other worthwhile things, i just find myself unable to look away... May God help me.. ![]() Will try , but it's gonna be haaarrrrdddd!! ![]() |
Madam , How did the APC senate president get to the seat in the first place ?, Was his adoption/coup not a PDP way of settling political score? So he wasn't corrupt then... ![]() Kindly take your time to watch Sen Jide Omoworare's submission; " |
Oduah, Akpabio, Kashamu, Jang, Dariye, Orji, will never allow incorruptible & their names to appear in the same sentence , the word is their MORTAL ENEMY ![]() Abeg nor make person choke with laughter ojare. ![]() Even TonyeBarcanista or mizmycoli will never say this. |
theV0ice:That is the Nigerian politician, self Love. |
Jorussia:I wasn't surprised, he is the DEP SEN PRESIDENT of the NIGERIAN senate not PDP, he did the right thing... Very impressive.. |
Curve, I pray this kind of SPN birth for my dearest dorra, Harmymy , Sure you did not see me, check well... ![]() |
Who cares. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Baba Aladiye should prove his case & get his mandate if truly he got the votes... The court is not going to award him what is not due to him simply to stop some people from wailing... |
Wailers is this not another "judicial witch hunt"... ![]() Now, you won't hear talk of one party state when it's in favour of the PDP!! Sycophancy & hyprocrisy is all they sing everyday.. : |
The PDP Senators know they can do nothing but they have to put up an act for their supporters... Why on earth did they not talk at the screening , they know quite well he would have destroyed what is left of their political fortunes... Much Ado about NOTHING... |
989900:Some children are going to exterminate parent 1 & parent 2 when they grow to discover that some people deprived them of a normal household cos of their selfishness & perversion.... It's a free world but some things just ain't cool.. |
