At the bolded. Does barbing your hair or keeping low cut help you in the Christian race? The answer is NO. So why barb it too. SMH
Yes, it does. Christian doctrine teaches modesty. keeping a modest haircut conforms to Christian doctrines.
Christianity EtcRe: Can Christian Brothers Plait Or Colour Their Hair? by Mode4: 11:58am On Jan 26, 2025
If you are genuinely transformed and saved, your interest will not be on plaiting your hair or wearing ear rings as a man. Your interest will lie on the propagation of the kingdom and everything that will promote the kingdom of God here on earth.

So the question is, does plaiting your hair or putting on ear rings help you in your Christian race? The answer is obviously NO! So why do it? Doing it shows that you are now conforming to the world and doing things based on the Influence of the world standard. Plaiting the hair or putting on earrings started from the world and not the church. These are trends promoted by the worldly people, so why should a born again child of God become influenced by worldly standards?

The Bible say, be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Meaning that, we Christians should set the standards for the world to follow and not the other way round.

Plaiting your hair or wearing earrings isn’t a sin on its own; however, the intention and mindset driving you to do those things is what might be sinful. Because if your intention is to look good, aren’t you looking good the way God created you? Are you saying that until you put on earrings or dye your hair you won’t look good?

Bible calls every Christian a “a peculiar people” read 1 Peter 2 vs 9. How can peculiar person be doing what every other person is doing? As a Christian, you are supposed to be different and set the standards for others to follow, why follow what others are doing?. Why plait your hair as a man? What is your intention? How does it help your Christian life? Why conform to the world?

Read 2 Corinth 6:17. Bible says, come out from among them. You can’t do things like every other person in the world. Set a standard and let the world see you looking different in everything including your appearance, mannerisms and attitude. God bless you!
CrimeRe: Teenager Arrested For Defiling Neighbour’s 8-Year-Old Daughter In Ogun by Mode4: 11:20am On Jan 14, 2025
Parents need to do more by teaching boys sex education and the consequences of having sex with minors or not seeking consent from adults whom they want to have sex with to avoid rape cases. These boys grow up with raging hormones in their teenage years and with the rot in todays world where illicit sex is promoted everywhere, find it difficult to practice abstinence.

As you no get job, honestly I don’t blame you for being a troll. Joblessness and trolling go hand in hand.

It’s a pity, I could have helped you with a job in my pig farm but your unruly behavior won’t let me. I could even feed you and move you from that dungeon where you live to a decent apartment where you will no longer consider being a troll but apparently you have lost it. 😂😂😂

Op, if you love yourself, just go and take Rocephin injection 1g for 3days and continue with the other antibiotics but stop nitrofurantoin
Why am I even having oity for you, cos you are f00lish for bleeping without protection
Dont u know Nigerian girls are walking STDshuhhuhhuh
No vex Doc. Thank you so much for your advice. I have stopped taking that nonsense nitrofurantoin drug since yesterday. My spirit hated that drug since day 1. The drug is so bitter, it turns my stomach colors my urine.

The girl I slept with was complaining she hates condoms. She showed me her test kit and the result and told me she is clean. Later She kept squeezing her face every time I burst open a condom. When I told her I went to the hospital to treat UTI, she was like it’s not from her. Infact she has to take agbo to clean her system.

No decent job will allow you have time to trade words with things that have no bearing with your life. Young man, get a job! You are jobless. You are neither a doctor nor any other medical professional, so why does my confusion ans you call it affect you so badly that you would not mind your non existent job? Even if you are given an advice or solution here. You will still go to another platform or place seeking for further solution and advice. angry

People like you never stop getting confused!
Well, Doc you can still offer the advice. If your advice works, why would I seek help elsewhere? and if it doesn’t, I mean you are not God, you are only offering an advice; not like I am paying you for it.

You went to the hospital due to some complaints and you were given tests by the doctor to run in the lab, you gave the test results to the doctor who then prescribed some drugs to you after seeing the results, instead of you to focus on taking the drugs or returning to the doctor if there were side effects, you came on nairaland just to check people's opinion, especially of non-medical experts shocked shocked.
But I asked for the opinion of other doctors not that of non medical experts. My intention is get a review of the prescription from other medical professionals. There is no point expressing so much disappointment.

This how people foolishly worsen their health issues. Continue taking your drugs if you love yourself.
So what am I supposed to do? Abandon the drugs and continue with the consequences of the illness?

HealthRe: Doctors, please can I continue with this drug? by Mode4(op): 1:00pm On Jan 12, 2025
So I went to the hospital and tests were conducted. The doctor diagnosed urinary tract infection and placed me on two weeks of medication. I am taking nitrofurantoin 100mg, ofloxacin 400mg and Clindamycin (don’t know the mg) each of them twice daily.

But I am a bit worried if the drugs are not too much.

You used "overdose".
Oh really? But the pharmacist asked me to take one in the morning and one at night. I took only one day tablet yesterday and the symptoms are going.

I have taken one again today but There is this pressure I am feeling around my ears and throat. I guess it’s the side effect of the drug. God know say after this, I will never go raw on any girl again till I marry. God Abeg have mercy!!!!
HealthDoctors, please can I continue with this drug? by Mode4(op): 3:00pm On Dec 30, 2024
So I woke up yesterday with a watery discharge in my penis. Towards afternoon I became worried. Having had the same issue like a year ago I decided to take levofloxacin the drug the doctor prescribed that time.

I decided to do self prescription because I don’t really have money to visit the hospital. Otherwise I prefer hospitals than self med.

I took two tablets yesterday - one in the afternoon around 3pm and another one late in the night around 1 am.

Around 3:30am, I woke up feeling confused and with a lot of panic attack. I don’t know what happened to me. My heart was beating fast and my ears were heavy.

Right now the discharged has reduced a little but I am scared taking another tablet. I read online that the drug can cause hearing loss and that has really heightened my fears.

Doctors in the house, Abeg what advice do you have for me? Should I continue with the drug? The tablet is 500mg.

I am currently using a UBA dollar master card, but each time I try to boost my post on my business page on facebook and IG, it doesn't work. I keep getting an error message that, Meta cannot extract funds from the card.

This issue has happened before when I used an FCMB naira master card and my account has been barred from running ads. I have opened a new account but it's still the same issue.

It was even because of the issue that made me get a dollar card and yet it's the same thing I am facing now. Please if anyone has a good idea on what I should do, please let me know. Adim very tired 😫

I want to boost a post on Facebook and IG but my ATM cards (UBA and FCMB) aren't working.

I keep getting messages everytime I try. I went to the banks and I was told to get a dollar card since I have a dollar account but the amount needed to fund the account is high for me. Who knows some other means I can use to boost the post(s)?
EducationDoes Anyone Know Of A Strategy I Could Use To Get A Lecturing Job? by Mode4(op): 4:52pm On Oct 26, 2024
For sometime now, I have been looking at getting into a lecturing career. I have a Bsc,Msc & PhD which i would round off next year. So far, I have 3 academic papers.

I have been looking out for academic staff recruitment in Nigerian universities but I hardly come across any. It seems like Nigerian universities hardly carry out recuriment that is made public. I tried my luck at the University where I am did my Msc last two years during their recruitment but its a state uni and their recruitment is strictly on indigene status. I am not from there.

Right now, I have a business running but I need to get into a lecturing career to as to augment my income and at least get the necessary work experience.

Please, is anyone aware of proven steps or strategies I could take to land a lecturing job? Please kindly let me know. I will be very grateful 🙏
