My Lexus RX 300 is experiencing same problem now. This grinding noise usually comes in the afternoon when weather is hot and also when I try to accelerate. It sounds this way "kakakakakakakaka". I have been to 2 mechanics yet none of them were able to diagnose where it's coming from. The last one said I should meet a Rewire to work on my fan, that it could be reacting to excessive heat. Please do you think this is what I should do.

I can relate very well. If I find myself in this situation, I usually tell the chemist man to give me Durex or Glow. These are names of my favourite. I dont add condoms to their names and the chemist man will grab sharpally.

Sometimes I derive some kind of arousal from their looks after intentionally making them have that feeling that am about to straff.

Tell the chemist man you want to buy Tarpaulin or u mention the particular name of the condom like:

Durex
Fantasy
Kiss

e.g oga give me Durex.

How Much Do They Give Examiner? I used to know that they mark per script, how much per script and can one take the paper home to mark?

Marking fee varies per subject, you will get to know one applicable to your subject at the marking venue, but the least is N8 per script. That's not the only incentive, as there are others like Lump sum, coordination fee etc that will sum up your pay around 12,000 - 15000 if you have about 320 scripts.

You take scripts home for marking and submit progressively to your Team Leader for vetting and then to your subject script officer for checking. By progressively, I mean that you dont wait till you finish marking the entire scripts issued to you before submission. As you mark, you submit by centre/school basis. A parcel usually consists of 2, 3, 4 or 5 schools/centres.

sorry, NCE holders are not eligible to mark. To apply as a checker, visit the venue on 26th, address your letter to THE HEAD OF MARKING VENUE, (then add the name of the town). Submit the letter to the Secretarial staff i.e the secretary of the marking venue. Success

Go on Thursday and Friday next week and gatecrash. You may be lucky if some invited examiners failed to turn up may be due to relocation or loss of interest or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be asked to stand in their gap provided you attend the 3 days coordination meeting starting on Friday 26th May

Thursday to find out if your subject is being marked at the venue (coz some states/town have more than one marking venue and in this case subjects are split/shared among the marking venues in the state or town) then Friday for the briefing and coordination meeting.
