Lagos is the problem. Let's assume that today's 256 cases in Lagos alone all exposed themselves to five people each...we will be having 1,280 cases from within fourteen days period and within this fourteen days cos of the incompetent of the task force, the test is very slow...that 1280 will expose to atleast 10 people which will be total of 12,800. Now that number will still expose to atleast 10 people each...that's 128,000 cases.

Ladies and gentle men, do u see that we will never come out of this case?

Open the economy, tell everyone the drugs we should put in our pockets and we risk am. God will surely give us victory.

If I do calculation for careless Kano...we will be in this for the next 50years.
I believe eventually, every State will go the Kano way. Kano people have willingly exposed themselves all to the virus and got infected all. Some died along the way while others recovered... The case in Kano now is what we call 'herd immunity'...

Some weeks back, everyone in Kano was sick with the coronavirus symptoms, but now the sickness is over and people go about their businesses without wearing masks or using sanitizers and nobody is sick again.

Joke judgement.
And the sentence would start counting from the day he was detained. So he had basically spent about 5years out of 7 already.

Imagine Kano and Borno having more 20 deaths combined with no recovery recorded.
The north pulling us back, please seal the north/south border.

The border should have been closed when the first index case was recorded in Lagos... The North would've been at peace by now.
HealthPresident Questions Coronavirus Test Kits As Pawpaw, Goat Samples Test Positive by modsfucker(op): 7:04am On May 04, 2020
Tanzania's President John Magufuli has dismissed imported coronavirus testing kits as faulty, saying they returned positive results on samples taken from a goat and a pawpaw.

Magufuli made the remarks during an event in Chato in northwestern Tanzania on Sunday. He said there were "technical errors" with the tests.

The president, whose government has already drawn criticism for being secretive about the coronavirus outbreak and has previously asked Tanzanians to pray the coronavirus away, said he had instructed Tanzanian security forces to check the quality of the kits.

They had randomly obtained several non-human samples, including from a pawpaw, a goat and a sheep, but had assigned them human names and ages.

These samples were then submitted to Tanzania's laboratory to test for the coronavirus, with the lab technicians left deliberately unaware of their origins.

Samples from the pawpaw and the goat tested positive for COVID-19, the president said, adding this meant it was likely that some people were being tested positive when, in fact, they were not infected by the coronavirus.

"There is something happening. I said before we should not accept that every aid is meant to be good for this nation," Magufuli said, adding the kits should be investigated.

On Saturday, Magufuli announced that he had placed an order for a herbal treatment for the coronavirus touted by the president of Madagascar.

"I have already written to Madagascar's president and we will soon dispatch a plane to fetch the medicine so that Tanzania can also benefit from it," he said.

The herbal remedy, called "Covid Organics" and prepared by the Malagasy Institute for Applied Research, is made out of Artemisia, a plant cultivated on the Indian Ocean island of Madagascar.

Despite a lack of scientific evidence, President Andry Rajoelina of Madagascar claimed that the remedy has already cured some Madagascans of COVID-19. Children returning to school have been required to take it.

This COVID19 will expose a lot of things. Things like:
1) which region has been dragging Nigeria backwards
2) which region cannot obey simple instruction
3) which region that plays politics with everything

Most of us know the region already, but it's better for nature to expose them for everyone else to know. I wish them speedy recovery.
It's America, Spain and Italy that have been dragging the world backward with their high confirmed cases and fatalities. Did you get the message or I should retune it?

Meanwhile, the virus is still actively present in the Country, so you shouldn't be in a hurry to start pointing fingers, cos you're not safe... Not just yet.

One thing I wish we all are sensitized about is that testing positive to Convid-19 is not testing positive to death. The survival rate is high. The rate at which people panic a lot can even cause some their untimely death even before they get infected with the virus
Yeah, many people test positive and without any symptoms or any drugs, they get better and turn negative.

If you panick, you'd be stressed and stress lowers immunity, which makes body susceptible to diseases.

Forget it can't never get to this level in Nigeria. The virus can't spread at a very high rate as it is spreading in colder climate...

Spreading this type of information will only make people to panic any little simple symptoms of cold, cough or fever will make people to think they have the virus and at the end of the day many people will think they have the virus and will go and populate our hospitals
Well, you're right to some extent, cos last week I had persistent cough and fever, and I totally convinced myself that I contracted the virus.

I however visited the hospital amd I was diagnosed with malaria and they gave me anti-malaria and cough syrup, and now I'm better...

But there's this voice inside me that's still trying to convince me that I have the virus, especially after watching some coronavirus news or browsing about it on the net.

How I wish the below house is mine.

For 2 weeks now, I have been making calls in all my post here on the need to check our entry point with a total restriction and compulsory quarantine of incoming travellers so that we just continue battling with the Italian index until the virus wave die down , I even created a topic for it but our deaf leaders won't care because they just wanted to create a new means of looting our money. Now, it is happening, wait and see the way this thing will mutiply within a short time. Thank God, most youths will survive it and I m sure most of this politicians won't survive it. God must punish them all

Let us be strong and follow the laid down instructions. We shall overcome it and if you don't have a forgiven spirit, look for a way to pour your convid19 infected bathing water on them or their properties.....
I don't know what they were thinking when they refused to shut our doors to foreigners. May be they were still thinking it was a game or what? Now, only God knows the number of unreported/undetected cases we have in this Country.

They were busy with their governance while the virus was being circulated.

PoliticsFederal Government Places Embargo On Recruitment, Replacement - Finance Minister by modsfucker(op): 1:28am On Mar 19, 2020
The Federal Government has placed embargo on all recruitments into its civil service.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, disclosed this while speaking with journalists after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.

She said the federal government would continue to pay salaries and would not sack workers but place embargo on recruitment exercises and replacement.

“On recruitment, there is already an instruction to stop recruitment. What the agencies have been doing is replacement but even that is being suspended. When things improve, we will go back to the issue of recruitment. But for now, our wage bill is already very high.

“The president has directed that salaries and pensions must be paid unfailingly. So, we are not looking at downsizing in anyway. We are maintaining our workforce as it is. But we are just stopping the increase in the size of the nominal roll,” the minister said.

Mrs. Ahmed also spoke on a number of measures approved by the FEC to cushion the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on the nation’s economy.

Even if u wanted, u can’t get a test. So just suck it up - I’d say corona cannot kill a healthy Nigerian in Nigeria or even sicken him much - our immunity boost from vitamin D from our hot sun is too much!
I think they've shared some numbers to contact when there's a suspected case, but I don't know if the numbers are working.

I remember the time I had a cut during manicure, and all of a sudden the thought of getting infected with HIV using unsterilized tools came to my mind.

The next day I started developing symptoms of HIV and that was how the symptoms keep increasing by the day, until after I decided to run a test. Even after getting a negative result I still wasn't satisfied. I kept repeating the test every month for more than a year until I finally realized that I was just having a HIV scare.
