itsMrIke:
But do you realize that the Federal Civil Service Commission is responsible for monitoring recruitment exercise into Federal Government agencies, and the Federal Character Commission Act guides the quota system? And they have stated that every state must be given quotas in their employment system. FAAN is not the only body that does quota system. Nigeria Army, Navy, Airforce, CBN, Police Force, Customs, Immigration, FRSC, NIMASA, etc...they all use quota system for employment, because consideration must be given to educationally under-developed states - that is only fair.
Why do you have a gross with the quota system?
........... Nigeria Army, Navy, Airforce, CBN, Police Force, Customs, Immigration, FRSC, NIMASA, etc. Fŗom da look of analysis so far, dis so cald Federal Character.........Act favors educationally embryonic states' indigenes. Now, my worry is dat, for any educationally mellowed states' indigenes to secure a job, he/she must exercise survival of da smartest respectively. Da picture is getin clearer at da federal level now! OKAY! NOTED!

Thankfully the number of those commending the process far outweighs those complaining.
Says who? Applicants are dam vexed! FAAN is not yet closer at al not to tlk of not yet there. What kind of statistics is FAAN publishin on dia website wen she has already met her waterloo already? Da goals FAAN proclaimed to be her parameters are not objective at al rather subjective. Why did I say dis? Imagin, a testee's success lies on his or her state of origin performance! And FAAN never took cognizance dt majority of da testees who scored very high mobilized people to join dem to observe da aptitude test at dia various comfort zones. As it stands now, majority of da inmates wil b tynkn perhaps i faild n dt ws y i was lamentin bt sori to say, I PASSED......lol. Obviousli, dis acts have jeopardized FAAN's goals. It wud v bin worthwhile had it bin FAAN contracted dis tests to outstandin CBT centres so as to manifest da psychometric properties of test administration. Tyns r just up-syd-down wit FAAN. Wit dis latest FAAN Public Update, wich position wud an applicant wit M.Sc in Geology wud v applied for? Or he wil swallow M.Sc and be applyin wit B.SC......lol.............. FAAN nids experts and not wannabes!

[quote author=ok10 post=31844679]it is disheartning that FAAN decided to end the recruitment process this way, weather you receive a text message or not as long as you pass the 50% cut off you are qualified for an interview,I know of a guy that took flight all the way from kano to lagos for DMO11 interview he was told to that is text message was from a wrong source and also a friend from anambra was told the sam
The only way that this recruitment process can be free and fair to all Nigerians is for FAAN to invite everybody that scored above 50% and conduct interview for them, after which they can now select the best.
moreover if it can take them 2weeks to conduct the test 1day should not be enough for the interview.if urgent steps are not taking it will affect GEJ negatively ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.[/quote

I sufferd blood clot on mai toes courtesy of FAAN's PFT.

The panel of interviewers and faan officials could not have been so idle to be wasting their time on candidates that were not supposed to be there.

That is not correct. That ur credentials were not checked doesn't mean the sms was not genuine. Some candidate's name were not in their data base used for the exercise because there were not initially shortlisted. They collected credentials of those that have successfully completed the interview and promised to rectify their record. Remember the sms was checked at the gate before they allowed you in. Some with fake sms were detected at the gate and refused entry.
