GudluckIBB: That's photocromic not necessarily a dark shade.
When you are in the sun, its dark but when you are in the room or a dark place, it turns plain.
Always use Google when in doubt. Are you saying the old man can't see without his glasses? |

PointB: He hasn't finished bungling the implementation of Jonathan's policy like TSA. Perhaps only then will he consider thinking of one; and that's if he actually has the capacity to 'think'! Buhari has started denying his very own campaign promises, any one who thinks good will come out of this govt is on long thing. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Is Benefiting From Jonathan's Reform by Mogidi: 6:49pm On Sep 22, 2015 |
saint047: When Daudu, the defense council questioned the jurisdiction of the court, the prosecution counsel argued that..... "according to section 2 of the Administration of Justice Act, 2015, the matter could be heard alongside any preliminary objection regarding the tribunal’s jurisdiction" The new law was signed by former President Goodluck Jonathan in March 2015, as part of a major reform of Nigeria’s criminal justice system. The Act is expected to speed up corruption cases before the courts, by dealing with issues of preliminary objections, adjournments, and jurisdiction. The law says such objections must be addressed by the courts concurrently with the corruption charge, unlike the past when interlocutory injunctions could go to the Supreme Court and return, before the main trial begins. Still waiting for Buhari to initiate own policies, we'd be waiting for a long time. |

Politics › Re: Saraki erred: Party Supremacy Is Obeyed in the US, Europe,Russia And China. by Mogidi: 2:31pm On Sep 20, 2015 |
[s] atbu1983: Saraki was wrong for acting against Party Supremacy. In the United State, the vice president is the Senate president. In Congress in United State, the party leader of the majority party automatically become the speaker. Even before the election, everybody already know who the speaker will be should democrat get majority or should republican get majority. In the united state, the president automatically become the leader of the party
In UK and Europe the party leader of the majority party automatically becomes the Prime Minister. in china, the Communist party select the premier and other leaders.
Party supremacy is very important in democracy.
We should also remember that if a government fail or succeed, no one remember the senate president. History only remember the president. We all hear of Clinton, George w bush etc. Who talk about the senate president?
Today in Nigeria, all we talk about is Jonathan. Nobody talk about David mike anymore. The reason in democracy all over the world, the ruling party push to have the majority in the senate and house rep is to make it possible for the govt to succeed it is vision for the country.
Without the 44 democrat who supported Obama in the senate, the Iran Nuclear deal would have required a veto. With veto it means the next president can easily cancel the deal. [/s] Party supremacy was not important when Saraki left PDP or when Tambuwal left abi? |

Ononuju said, “The President makes appointments and does not refer them to the Senate for confirmation because he does not like the leadership there. Our democracy is under threat and that is why we are talking to Nigerians. Since President Muhammadu Buhari took over, everything is going down. We are calling on the Chief Justice of Nigeria to protect the integrity of the courts by ensuring that injunctions are respected. We are to march to every embassy to tell them that our democracy is under threat. |
