Anyone that has the true knowledge of God would never willingly give himself to sin.
It's those who don’t know him that join the team of the people that use the phrase “Christianity is in the heart” and easily give themselves to sin.

Your deeds ought to correspond with God’s commandments. People call you Christian because of your behavior and appearance. You don’t need to tell people you are a Christian before they identify you as one.

“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.” (1 John 2:3), the yardstick that you are a Christian is keeping God’s commandment.
You cannot keep God’s commandment in your heart and your actions and appearance exhibits opposite.

Christianity is in your action not something you claim to be somewhere in your heart that nobody can see.
Anyone that know God will never abide by the world i.e. a Christian would not listen to Worldly music, watch worldly movies, go clubbing, wear exposing dress, fornicate, bribe, cheat, steal, lie etc. and then say "Christianity is in the heart".

The bible says, the love of money is a root of all evil, does that mean we Christians should not seek for money because the love of it is a root of all evil? Certainly not.
In fact, no Christian is supposed to be poor because we are Christ like and Christ was not, is not and will never be poor.
Sincerely, the simplest and shorted route to wealth is Christianity because the bible says “Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established “(Prov. 16:3). The bible further says “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you” (Mat 6:33).

Someone will say “There are a lot of unbelievers that are wealthy”. That’s true, but are they ever satisfied? No, because the Bible says “Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfy with His income. This too is meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 5:10). Until you are satisfied, you can never stop wanting, that is why those people you perceived to be wealthy are always wanting, because they never meet their wants and they will never meet it because they lack the greatest gift works or money cannot give which is the “Power to enjoy wealth".

“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 5:10).
In a nutshell, Only God can give you the power to enjoy your wealth. That is why all unbelievers are never satisfied with what they have because they don’t know God and can never receive the power to enjoy their wealth.

In conclusion, “A man to whom God has given riches and wealth and honour, so that he lacks nothing for himself of all he desires; yet God does not give him power to eat of it, but a foreigner consumes it. This is vanity, and it is an evil affliction.”(Ecclesiastes 6:2).
That is why unbelievers and believers that are not born again, spend their monies on unproductive things or foreigners like sicknesses, police station, court of law and so on.

Jesus says “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 4:2).

Every journey embarked in life, has a destination. Christianity is a journey and Heaven is the final destination but the hard truth is that, many won’t make it to heaven.
Jesus told us that narrow is the way to heaven (the passengers are not many) but wide is the way to hell (to avoid hold up because the passengers are much).
One of the characteristics of living things is death but we also know that human soul is immortal, WHERE WILL BE THE FINAL DESTINATION OF YOUR SOUL? The answer is direct, If you’re a born again Christian, your final destination is heaven (The golden city). If you’re not born again, your final destination is hell.
“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defies, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of Life.” (Rev. 21:27).

The song writer says “When He shall come with trumpet sound, Oh, may I then in Him be found; Dressed in His righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne” (Edward Mote).

On that last day, you must be faultless i.e. no sin must be attributed to you.
The main purpose of Jesus on earth was to prepare us to meet up with the standard of people that can dwell in the Golden city (heaven).
The city where you won’t work, sorrow, sick, die, worry or witness any calamity like on earth “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Rev. 21:4).

To exaggerate a nice place on earth, people will say “That place is like heaven on earth” that should hint us on how nice heaven is.
How much do you pay for a holiday in Paris, Dubai, London, Miami etc.? These places are constructed by humans with limited resources and you termed them beautiful, what adjective will you use to modify heaven when you see it?

In conclusion, heavenly race is an individual race, there is no father, mother or children in heaven. The greatest mistake you will make is to miss heaven because of any human being (Family, friend or enemy).

“Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather giving thanks” (Eph. 5:4).

Foolish talk is silly talk, empty talks that proceed from fools with no intellect. Coarse joking is anything that relates to sin (it could be sexual related, violent, gossiping etc).
Jokes that destroy man, jokes that involve ungodliness, any joke that will lead the receiver to sin is wrong in the sight of God.
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers” (Eph. 4:29).

“Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly” (II Timothy 2:16).
Godless chatter will produce an ungodly life with time. The Greek word for “chatter” is kenophonia, and is used to describe, “empty, foolish talk, talk which lacks significant content i.e. fruitless discussion.” (Pastor Jason Stewart).

“But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless” (Titus 3:9).
Arguing about the law is pointless and will lead to godless chatter, sometimes corrupt or unwholesome talks since you might try to buttress your point to convince your listener.

Please help, What is the best method for sending money from Nigeria to foreign country especially Ghana. I want to send a huge amount of Naira to Ghana but am afraid of the exchange rate, I really don't know the best method that won't destroy my money.

What type of movie do we watch? If you still watch unclad, half naked, romantic or any sex driven movie, my friend you are an enemy of God.

What type of music do you entertain yourself with? Any song that you cannot offer to God is known as worldly music but you still listen to them, automatically, you are an enemy of God.

In conclusion, No enemy of God will make heaven or enjoy God fully on earth.

No! There is still hope for all in Christ Jesus. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9).

Secret One: Your Offering Is A Waste Of Money Or Resources If You Have Any Unsettled Issues With A Brother Or Sister.

The instruction given by Jesus about offering is direct (Mat. 5:23-24), “Leave your offering on the altar and settle any issue you have with your brother then come back and offer it”(paraphrased). Your prayers or Pastor’s prayer after offering will not be answered if you keep malice or nurses any grudge against anybody.


Secret Two: You Will Never Be Forgiven If You Don’t Forgive People That Offend You.

“That person offended me and I will never forgive him or her”, Please don’t pay that offering because is not acceptable and don’t ask God for any forgiveness because you will never be forgiven.
“But if you do not forgive others their sins, your father will not forgive your sins” (Mat. 6:15).

In conclusion, paying of offering increases your wealth, betters your health and blocks road to any unnecessary spending.

I went past the field of a sluggard(Lazy person), past the vineyard of someone who has no sense; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:

You can’t claim you love someone but you don’t spend time with that person. You can’t say “I LOVE YOU” to someone you can’t stand his or her presence. You can’t claim you love your spouse, parents etc. and yet don’t obey them or do what please them.


Christians confess of their love for God and hatred for Satan and still they can’t live to please God and do his will completely rather they run after the things of this world and build for themselves worldly treasures. They are not faithful to God but rather cheat on him with what they use as their idol and the kind of life they live. Anything that takes the first place in your life beside God is your idol and it’s cheating on God. Luke 10:27 He answered: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.”(NIV) You must love God with everything you have to make it to heaven without exceptions. You must give him your whole and make him your all without holding back.


You can’t claim you love God when you can’t spend time with him, when you can’t forsake your secret and open sins and confess him entirely and stick to that. You can’t claim you love God but would rather cover your lie, fornication, greed etc. instead of repenting and forsaking them. How can someone claim he loves God but doesn’t love his neighbor? How can one who oppresses the poor and bear false witnesses against the just claim a love for God? No one that steals or takes bribe of any sort loves God, no one who lives a life full of hatred and grudge for others know or has seen God. Hebrew 12:14 “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy: without holiness no-one will see God” (NIV). Only in perfection and holiness can you make it to heaven.


Believers were called Christians because they behaved like Christ. Check yourself as a believer are you living a Christ like life on earth? The life you are living is it worth eternity in heaven? No atom of sin in you will allow you to heaven no matter how small it seems.

In conclusion, acknowledge your sins today and confess them for GOD is still in the business of forgiving sins and granting eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Prov 28:13 “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” (KJV)

But someone will say “You have faith and I have work.” Show me your faith without your work, and I will show you my faith by my work. (James 2:18).

Is high time we Christians expose ourselves to the truth, God can never bless you without a work, not just working but being diligent and serious at your work. If an unbeliever is working more than you do, He or She will surely excel than you. But if you work as much as an unbeliever and always acknowledge God at your work, you will surely excel more than those unbelievers even if you are doing the same work. The only advantage we have over unbelievers is the blessing of the God. “Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established “(Prov. 16:3).

We work and yield the result of our works with an added bonus from God (The bonus that is higher than the result of the work done), Unbelievers only receive the result of their works without any bonus.
That’s way James 1:18 says “I will show you my faith by my work” i.e. even if you are doing the same work (or as a student reading the same note) your result will always be better than any unbeliever’s.

“The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich” (Prov. 13:4). Abandoning your work and embarking on prayers (Night vigil, Church activities etc.) is an act of laziness and you will never get anything good out of it.

In conclusion, “Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase” (Prov. 13:11).
As a Christian what type of work do you do? Never expect God’s blessing if there is any atom of sin in your works. Any sinful work is an abomination to God and can never be blessed by Him. Any work that entails lying, stealing, deceit, fraud, prostitution, bribery etc. can never be blessed by God and will crumble.
“He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.” (Prov. 15:27)
“The blessings of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Prov. 10:22)

There are about 7.3 billion people in the world, millions of people share the same work with you. What is your position among the millions that share your work or what will be your position? (Top 10? or Top 100? or Top 1,000? or Top 10,000? ).

According to prov. 22:29, only the skilled or diligent can excel distinctively at their work. How much time do you devote to your work? You can never be skilled at your work if you give less time to it. Check the life of people we consider to be rich, they all work 24 hours in a day, that doesn’t mean they don’t rest or sleep but whilst sleeping their works are working for them.

Have you ever questioned why banks now render 24/7 services?
Have you ever log onto facebook, twitter, google, bing etc. and is not available at any hour of the day?
Is there any telecom company that doesn’t run 24/7 services?
Those rich people are known because they are skilled and diligent at their works.

A Christian will say, I pray, I fast, I pay tithe, I pay offering etc. but why am I not as rich as those people?
According to James 2:14 “What does it profit my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?”
James 2:17 “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead”

James 2:18, But someone will say “You have faith and I have work.” Show me your faith without your work, and I will show you my faith by my work.
As a Christian you need to have works you do, be diligent at your works and give no room to external distraction.

Proverbs 21:3 (NIV)”To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice”.
Obedience to God is paramount over sacrifices. Doing the right thing and living a righteous life is acceptable to God than all the church activities.

Going to church, working in God’s vine yard are important but the most of them all is living a righteous life unto God. Obeying his words and keeping away from all sins is what God requires from those that call themselves children of God.

Salvation is the ticket to heaven and sanctification is the fitness to heaven. How then will you be sanctified if you don’t obey God’s words? Though one might say I only lie but don’t drink alcohol or I commit fornication once a while but I don’t commit murder but what about the book of James 2:10 that says “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all.” Serve God by living for him completely in holiness and righteousness, in sanctification and purity in perfection and with all devotion then your sacrifices (activities, dances, prayers, and offerings) would be acceptable unto God.

Proverbs 21:21(NIV) “He who pursue righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour”, of all commandments, the commandment on love is the greatest, love God, love your neighbors and live for God then every other things you want will be added. Matthew 6:33(NKJV) “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”.

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication or sexual immorality (Kissing, romance, sex outside marriage), uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, wrath, strife, seditions, dissensions, Envying, murder, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
The most common sin is lying, Prov. 19:9 says “a false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.”

In conclusion, if you’re guilty of a sin, you’re guilty of all sins and you’re never a Christian if you don’t behave like Christ. If you want to take a decision, ask yourself “Would Jesus behave the way am about to behave?”.
