Just place an advert for cleaner outside your house & see what Nigeria has become. Haven't you seen the numbers of applicants that apply within a minute whenever FG places their scams job advert? Haven't you noticed that FG jobs are mainly advertised when election is close? You even need connections to buy the slot as it stands. Don't boarding chasing your shadows. It is not worth it. Even private jobs that pays #30,000 & above aren't readily available anymore. My 1 cent advise. Go into business or leave the country.

Their pay is more than 84k, I have someone who was employed in 2011 and 96k was the salary on his appointment letter. Guess it should be more than that now. Pls y'all should stop misleading pple

There salary was double during Jonathan regime. But ASCII salary wasn't affected with d increments then. it took effect from ASCI.

Everything is about 84k or so... While other paramilitary like NIS, FRSC, civil defense and others is 100k plus... Police is even more sef... Speaking about revenue generating agencies like them FIRS, which their pay is over 200k with other allowances.. seriously, NCS pay isn't okay.. considering the nature of the job.

why is there own different, are they not d same paramilitary.

I am not a religious or ethnic bigot, am an individual that bealive in libralism, I am using this medium to testify that if am giving the opportunity to serve as a custom offic I will not in any way jeopardise my office for personal gain .if I am persuaded to do it it means I will resign . I am not corrupt so money can't corrupt me . Speak for yourself if you are not contented with their salary structure, as far as am concern the current salary is ok for me and I will even save outr of it and start small business then grow it . I will have my diginity preserve without fearing Kama!

@emmieachichi is a little but not entirely right. Support staff in the NCS are junior personnel who do not perform operational roles. They perform assigned duties, most of their roles and activities are based on directives. Some support staff however function in sensitive departments like Accounts, Medicals etc. And from what I heard, support staff do get posted to all commands including border posts. They sometimes serve as domestic aides to the senior officers from the rank of Ara Controller and above. It also appears they are limited in terms of ranking, seems they don't rise beyond level 13 or so. @Jumoke support staff in the NCS are permanent staff, and the news about them been maltreated depends on the nature of the superior officers they function under. I know support staff who made it in the Service because they are in good hands in terms of superiors.

Are u saying ASC II officers on cadre 8 a junior staff because he/she is a support staff. The PRO of apapa command was a support staff and she was also the PRO at the Oyo/Osun command b4 she was transferred to Apapa command

Customs officers dey do juju to get juicy posting oo. Alot of fetish powers fighting each other at the ports and borders. I think oyo/Osun command is OK. Ibadan is a peaceful place to settle. I know of someone that was recruited in 2011 into d service. He was posted to FCT, and he's in money. He already built his own mansion in Abj. Personally I don't like port nor borders. Lagos isn't a good place to settle.

Almost all the commands/offices use to share money every Friday or fortnight. All the officers at the borders and roads always remit back to there boss in d office
