Please note that the raingun is actually a bigger sprinkler. It is better in that it wets the ground quickly and the water volume is much more than the small sprinklers.

This wahala of labour is a big deal o. For intending farmers, don't take it lightly.
One would believe that if you flash 20k a month (which is above minimum wage) to a hungry, Jobless Nigerian, he/she woulf be ready to work. But it's a lie.
I'll therefore suggest that you start small and build up your labour force gradually with trusted, hardworking personnel.

Right now, my 1 hectare has 10 workers. 8 corpers and 2 permanent staff. I add 10k ontop the allowee for the corpers while my 2 resident staff collect 25k a month. I still hire manual labour for the rigorous work tho. So labour dey chop at least 200k a month.

What abt the yearly pay workers (I mean the calabar/Northern labourer as called in yorubaland). The labourer are always pay at the end of d year, like 110k for the year. Is dis method too advisable

It is good to partner with someone cos it will reduce financial, mental and other types of stress involved on only you.
There are questions you need to ask yourself before you partner with him.
.
1. Will your partner be available to face farm challenges?
2. Is he not a type that mostly think of the profit more than the work involved?
3. If it fails, how will he likely react?
4. Is he also technically sound to contribute to the development of the farm project?
5. Is he of a good character or can I work with him?
..... Answer the questions and others you seems you can, it will be a guide
..... In conclusion, have a written agreement of the whole process and how profits will be shared.

He also has 1acre of land and finance as well. Though he wants to b a sleeping partner though. He planned to show up fully if d business(harvest) is successful Wat do U advice I do

it depend on how and where you sell.
From time immorial,we have always have opportunistic middle men/women taking adavantage of the illiterate farmers whether they produce more or less.

With everybody planting plantain now, hope the market won't be flood with surplus supply now. Cos d market women do buy bunch of plantain #200 from the farm in my area here in Ekiti

like I said earlier it's all about quality the lowest is N500.

What're the criteria for measuring if a plantain quality is high or low. Is it d numbers of fingers or weight of the bunch
