I really don't know the brand of jazz that this Clomid company did for us Nigerians, that's still making us and our docs, stay soo loyal to it. Sister, many people truly, are resistant to the drug. Resistance comes in varying degrees. Some people will not grow any follicle on it at all, in some, follicles will begin to develop but will not reach maturity and eventually disappear, some will reach maturity (or not) but stay on as cysts, and for some, the follicles will release eggs that will not yield conception. More torturous for some even, is the fact that conception will happen, but because the quality of egg produced wasn't up to par, a miscarriage results.

Quite true, good analysis, came across the comparison while researching on clomid,
but still decided to stick with clomid,
my issue is a bit different, i have thick uterine lining, usually hits 14mm by cd 12!, n i usually ovulate cd 15/16, i learnt that clomid thins lining, thus thats why i choose to use it.. this cycle i started with clomid 50mg cd 3 to 7, [planned to do cd 2 to 6, but missed]. also had high progsterone the 2 cycles i did hormonal profiling, that i thought i shud have been pregnant, . tentatively i might say i am progesterone dominant, if there is anything like that.
if anybody knows another method to thin the uterine lining, pls am all ears, or has a similar case of high progesterone and knows how to reduce it a bit

should be cancelled ivf not, failed, a good ivf place would simply freeze the eggs and cancel the process, if they fail to get any sperm to fertilize the egg. sorry abt the disappointment.

u dont do trigger blindly, you trigger when the follicles are upto 18mm or 20mm depending on the doc.
only follicular tracking would give you this info.

Mamas , how many of you would not mind your mother Inlaw who just retired and is not sick or needing medical attention come and live with you and hubby permanently?!
My friend's mother Inlaw is planning to do this. My friend is not comfortable with it at all but has resigned her mind to it.
The mother Inlaw often visits them and spends weeks and months with them even though she does not get along with the wife. The wife told me the mama never wanted her first son to marry and would have preferred him having more children outside wedlock instead of marrying. Her hubby already had a child before marriage. They have children of theirs now.

Sincerely, I can't undastand the rationale behind a mother moving into her son's house without invitation or permission. Is it fair?

Note -she has a married daughter o. Is it not better for her to live with her daughter if her and her daughter in-law dont get along? This lady now has strong cause to believe the mama is out to break her home. Would she now be receptive to her coming to live with them permanently?

so dh insisted i track this cycle, usually my cycle lentgh is 29/31 days, so i went on cd 10, twas just 10mm, i intended to go again on cd 12, but ended up not going, so dh and i bd every other day till sat cd 18, today cd 20, he still insisted i go for tvs, as i didnt feel any of my usual ovulation signs, lo and behold a dominant follicle of 20mm x 21mm was observed, with other small small follicles, uterine lining was 22mm, and a moderate free fluid collection in POD [ i hope this is not infection - no smell, no itch, no symtoms], because of the nature of dhs job, he is not around now, but will be back wed cd 22 - of wch am praying seriously that the follicle doesnt rupture b4 then.

so he is saying i shud go for another tvs that wednesday, and if the follicle is still there, we shud do the hcg trigger trigger shot, to force it to reipen within 36hrs, thus we can bd like mad from that wed he wud b back to wkend.
so abuja mamas, pls where can i buy the hcg injection in abuja, should i buy 5000 or 10,000 units?.
i need a good shop where they refrigerate it as prescribed by the manufacturers. also pls recommend suitable brands. would appreciate mamas who got bfp after trigger to also chime in.

thats a tough one, if you are not in a hurry, you can dedicate 1 month, go off ttc, use the complete pack of guifei bao, buy serrapeptse and the other chinese herbs or enymes and try for 3 months.......go for a repeat scan or hsg to see if there is any change or improvement, if none, then u may consider cutting of the bad tube,...may women hv conceieved with only 1 tube

Please house my husband's semen was recently analyzed and the result says he has no sperm count (i.e 0 millions) and we have been TTC for 3yrs now. A doctor (not a urologist) carried out physical examination by weighing his scrotums and dipping hands into his anus to confirm if there is a blockage. He then said that the scrotum's weight is normal and the anus track is free which indicates there is no blockage. He recommended that he undergoes hormonal profile test which he has also done but will take a month before the result is out. Meanwhile, i am believing its just a hormonal issue which means that supplements can boost sperm production. My question is:
1. Is the physical examination a true test for blockage?
2. who knows about Nisa-prime fertility centre in port harcourt. I Learjet from a friend that they have good success rate and that they are cheaper when it comes to IVF,IUI, ICSI and the likes. @finecheek12, it didnt affect my cycle, sometimes wellwoman is known to delay cycles, and ovaboost i think is a similar drug, wud suggest u do a bpt, and a scan to ascertain the state of your system.

another angle might b u may be amongst those who ovulate during menses, to cover that angle, its best u bd today/2moro till af comes and if posible 2nd day of af, too bad most place might not want to track for u while af is around, it would have been nice to know the fate of that cycst.

also i would suggest you use guifei bao after af to drain the cyst if indeed twas a cyst.
