I've been on the serrap for about 3mnts now. I was told at my appointment today that the flushing would be done without anaesthesia. I had to go home to have a rethink, I explained to the Dr. That the pain from the HSG I had last year was nearly unbearable but he told me that I wasn't ready then because the HSG is child's play compared to the flushing.

i wud suggest you go to another place, my hsg s hv been horrible, so painful. so told the flushing people straight up, no pain o.
they said it wudnt be painful...i still insisted, they later gave me pcm injection..wch i think is paracetamol...the pain was very minimal
did mine in bodycheck abuja, there is another clinic in abuja that offers painfree hsg...they gave me a muscle relaxant injection...go tru my earlier posts, you will see the name

I know of Castor oil, i didn't know you could use olive oil too. As i speak to you, I was on 3 caps of serrap(120,000 x 3units) daily but for now i do just one cap daily with Nattokinase and Dong Quai...I've been on and off for some months now.

sry, i meant castor oil, you still didnt state how long you took the serrap, had blocked tubes report/inconclusive,,, took serrap for less than a month+castor oil massage, n went for flushing, wch opened at first attempt.

if you have been taking it for more than 2months..i believe you can go for flushing now...the blockage must hv been softened enuff to be flushed away

Please tell me more about the olive oil compress. I had HSG done in April last year and they said both tubes were blocked. I'm scared of a repeat procedure so I am contemplating the flushing option.

olive oil therapy has been discussed extensively...search here and also on youtube.
it simply involves getting flannel , pouring the olive oil on the flannel/old singlet...and placing it on ur lower tommy, with a hot water bottle ontop of it, for 30 to 60mins...am and pm.

@fpeetr, flushing is advanced hsg, designed to dislodge or push out whatever is blocking the tubes, some clinics do 2 to 3 attempts per cycle.
pain killers are usually given, cost btw 30k to 65k, depending on clinic or location.

flushing is recommended for those who have blocked tubes report from previous hsg report.
its adviced to take serrapeptase, guifei bao, olive oil compress 1 to 3months b4 the procedure, as these help 2 soften and knock off the tiisue blocking the tubes

@missingribs, your period is normal, difference upto 5days is considered normal, if you are are upto it, you may consider bbt charting [googlw for more info if you dont know what it means], with that you can know ur ovulation date and length of your lutueal phase ]LP]
The LP is fairly constant is most women, as from 10 to 16days, ie if urs is usually 12days, it will always remains within that range every cycle, LP = days from ovu till start of next period

ur hsg report is sideways, difficult to read well.
but from what i saw, no peritonial spill is usually not a good sign ...implies either adhesion or blocked tubes
2ndly, am a little comfused, LMP=last menstrual period, and bears 31/05/16, tvs date is 06/06/16, ur lining size and follicle size dont really jive 5mm lining and 21mm follicle.
pls put it in simple terms, what cd day was the tvs taken?, how long are ur cycles?

based on ur hsg result, i would suggest you commence the serrapeptase and castor oil therapy, to free the adhesion/blockage.
look for a good clinic in abuja,

now, am better armed for them,o, no rubbish, write out everything for me chikena!

Ok do u know the exact thickness of your uterine lining? How many mm? Clomid gives very hostile cm so u can use a fertility lubricant called "preseed". Alternatively drink enough cranberry juice, but preseed is the best IMO. Have u heard of softcup? Have they tested your dh? Just so u be sure what you're dealing with.

my issue is unexplained infertility, ttc 4yrs+.....though i think my issue may be too thick uterine lining/implantation issues and or hostile cervical cm

yeah we bd well during my usual ovu window cd 14 to cd 16, but dialed down to every other day afterwards, dh and i are not in the same city so part of the complication, dont feel like doing another tvs again after the one on cd 19, this monday, and dh would be going back to his base on saturday, will try n bd btw now b4 he leaves,

My meds this month would be clomid 100mg cd2-6, then hcg trigger shot on cd12 then start progesterone on at 3dpo (3days post ovulation). I would be using the progesterone just as a precautionary measure since clomid thins the uterine linning and with pcos...my body does not produce enough progesterone on its own!!!

For this cycle I was also on clomid 100mg cd 3-7, then i had my tubes flushed on day 8, then a trigger shot on day 11. I spotted faintly on day 12 and my doctor said that could have been ovulation spotting. i guess i may have to suggest to my doctor to give progesterone... cause i was once diagnozed of pcos. What do you think?

HMMM, i hope u did tvs b4 the trigger?, my own case my cycle is usually 28/29 days, took clomid 50mg cd3 to cd7,, cd 10, biggest follicle was 13mm&12mm on right ovary 10mm on left, uterine lining 12mm, so if i took trigger shot on cd 12, it would hv been a bad idea. funny thing is since i didnt notice anysign of ovulation like i usually do, my dh insisted on another tvs on cd 19, this time only 1 dominant follicle was seen 20.5mm, uterine lining 19mm!!! small seedling follies 14 and 16 respectively were seen on both ovaries [is this is sign of pcos?], decided not 2 trigger again, cos the whole thing confused me, still tried to bd, but dh is tired n even me is too, bding for 11days now, though not every day o.
am wondering what is happening, only thing i did extra was i was taking lemon and grape at least once a day.
has anyone experienced something like this, its like a case of disappearing follicles
