i have been having random cases of spotting btw cd11 and cdd 14, dont think its ovu spotting cos it comes out b4 the slippery cm, and i ovulate cd 15-17, my cycle is 29/30 days, this is the 3rd cycle now of same spotting.
google don put plenty fear for my bori, say unbalanced hormones, other abnormal growth/cancer, really fed up of going to hospitals, just taking my supplements and fruits... prefer going natural now.

tvs shud be done for every clomid cycle, bodies differ and change as well, triggering an underdeveloped egg is a waste of time and money.
the tvs is to confirm that the egg is .>16mm, some docs choose .>18mm, some even >20mm, unless u have a short cycle ,24days...and he has tracked n monitored you extensivesly, triggering on cd is a big no no!!!

Mamas, I am finally on day one of clomid as prescribed by the Doctor. I read somewhere that clomid dries up cervical mucus, for someone who is usually dry, I just wonder how much drier I can get!! I ran this by my doctor and he dismissed it.

unless you suspect you hv hostile cm, your dhs swimmers hv low molity, or you dont know your ovulation window/dont ovulate....paying that much for iui isnt such a good economic decision.
. chances of natural conception for a woman btw age 25yrs to 30yrs is about 20-22%, iui is about 25%-30%, ivf is about 35% to 45%.

i think its possible - though rare, the human body play pranks sometimes, one can even ovulate and the eggs are not mature etc[not our portion]. only follicular tracking/tvs can confirm ovulation actually happened, opks are not 100%reliable or accurate.

i would suggst if you are having prolonged unexplained infertility, make sure u confirm ur tubes are open and ensure u boost ovulation, that is after getting your dh swimmers to be in good shape.

the tests in georges are not too high, they may or may not request for new tests.
the 150k they said is for both diagnoistic and operative, ie if something is seen since they r inside already..they will surgically remove it, but if nothing is seen, no refund of money .
remember to request and ask for the video if you decide to go ahead

Since no one knows or has done heteroscopy to remove uterine polyps here to answer me, I will appreciate anyone who has used herbs/medicine to dissolve fibroids, or used clomid after history of miscarriages and it lead to take home baby. Or who has removed fibroids self.
After my rude doc has wasted my time and spent about N500k, I went to LASUTH, there they looked at my results and determine uterine polyp as reason for MCs. And prescribe heteroscopy, but they don't have d facilities nor do LUTH, nordica say they do, but will require me to run tests, treat etc before it can be considered. Assuming we run just tests and do it without treating one single infection(which will never be d case) I have to ready another N500k, plus who knows how long it will take, and the funny thing is that though rude doc has not said he will send me to do same thing(as he doesn't have d facility), he has suggested it, and instead make he send me there since he wan make we spend money on tests and treat for months first before he talk. Imagine treatment for one small infection na em he never buy for 3months, and he will not prescribe to buy outside, and he will not move ahead in treatment till he gets drugs and treats that illness.
I am sad today. Really sad.

maam, sry,, 1 scan i had, they suspected polyps too, and rcommeneded lap for further investigation, another doc had said i had endo 1 other time, my sis i tire, and dont wanna do surgery.i had a miscarriage too, who knows if twas the polyp that caused it. this cycle, my dh recommended i be on serrap, primrose oil tab, and castor oil massage, all these help the uterine linning and eat away dead cells, skin and growths

have asked for mamas selling, but no response yet.

i honestly don't understand either, i don't even understand how when they found the embryos were dead, why they didn't just speak up and stop the whole process, i also do not understand why they will leave me to progesterones for the whole time, , now how did i find out ? my brother inlaw who also happens to be a gyn, linked us up with the clinic, so we began treatment in january. now after the first one failed, i was encouraged to do the second transfer in April, since i still had 3 more left. now they said they had to thaw them and select the gd ones for transfer , and so they had to discard the third one cos " it was not Good" as they couldn't freeze it back again. well after all said and done, the second transfer failed , and my brother inlaw who was a close colleague of the ceo of the clinic ,decided to ask the doctor who did the transfer, who then told him it failed cos their fal.tube is blocked (how is that even possible when i don't have hydrosalpinx), my brother inlaw won't take this, and they now said their cervix OS had a slight curve penetrating the uterus. my brother inlaw won't take any of this , he decided to talk to his colleague , who now interrogated the doctors himself . and thats where they actually owned up , that the embryos were not actually viable, meaning there was nothing there in the first place .so my guess is that either they transferred a non viable sets of embryos or they just acted like they injected something .... i honestly do not know nor understand, all i know is that i have refused to think about it, I'm not going back there nor any hospital for that matter. i will just focus on God .

na yeye doctor/hospital managment, instead of telling u upfront that the frozen embies died and cancel the ops..they still went ahead, so appalling, who knows how many people they may hv done this to, and ivf @ bridge no be beans, more than 1.6m with extra charge for freezing sef

usually have very painful period, discovered ruzu sometime last year. and took it cd 2 to cd 10...and it helped with the pain//but for the past 2 cycles, it appears not to be working again . the pain does not reduce much agaian after taking ruzu, what could be wrong?

My elder sis has been married for 12 years.in the first 3 years she had several miscarriages even at 6 months. Since then, no pregnancy at all.
She had surgery for goitre about 18 years ago and was placed on a drug tyroxin for life but she has discontinued the drug.

awww, 12years no beans....will try to answer as much as i can.
1. for the thyroid stuff, i know thyroid has a role to play in balancing hormones, n since hers has been reduced..am thinking she should continue with the drugs or get her hormones checked.

2. after getting her hormones ok, next step would be to confirm her tubes are open, so she shud prepare for hsg, or if she isnt ready for that...she can start taking meduim dose serrapeptase for a month or two, its not a drug so no harm if nothing is wrong, cos the tubes may hv gotten blocked... while all this is going on...let her dh go for a sperm count, his having a baby b4 is no gurantee that his swimmers are good, and also how sure is he that the previous baby is his...a simple sfa removes all doubt.

3. surrogacy is only possible with ivf, but since you dont hv money, the next best thing would be iui [the baby will not share any dna with ur sister the hubbys swimmers will be injected into u and ur sisters uterus after prepping it--- this may be unethical, ], doctors in benin - ponders end clinic off lagos road, 1 hospitl along technical college road benin-lagos road, cant remember the name now, will post when i do, then ubth. for abuja there is nisa clinic, heard grabbo clinic gwarimpa is doing discount on ivf 650k or so. also bodycheck abuja clinic have a low cost INVO-IVF procedure
