I'll like to share xperience with mamas of preemie babies. I'm a mum of preemie twins.

1) My 4 weeks old baby hasn't pooped since yestday (I have intro formula) what can I do to make him poop?

2) b4 introducing formula, I change dia nappies like 6 times in a day with watery yellowish poo, but nw dat I feed dem with formula and BM it's greenish and somehw dry. Pls is ds normal?

Goodmrng my people . It's av tay I visited dis thread oooooo. A lot has happened for good and I give God all the glory.

Ehen, I have been delivered since June of two baby boys (whoop! Whoop!).
My water started leaking d day I clocked 30 weeks, it ws managed in a hosp and babies were brought out @31weeks 4 days. We stayed in SCBU for 3 weeks and were discharged home. Babies and mama are doyin fabulously well.

I'll go bra-less for some days until m completely healed. Some mamas also suggested sports bra, will get that too, soon. Thanx for ur care

Pls how do u mama's cope with pain under ur boobs?....... Could it be my bra causing it? Cos right nw I can't evn wear a bra and feel comfy for more than 30mins. Abi na only me waka come with dis rib/under boobs pain?

my dear u need calcium oooo. initially I wasn't given calcium, then I started experiencing leg cramps abi muscle pull, I complained to d doctor and ws given Cac 1000 (it only lasts for 10 days), the cramps stopped. After I finished d first bottle, I noticed d cramp came again, I had to buy another one that m still using and I havnt experienced d cramps since then.

Meanwhile, last night was something elz ooooo, my Lo's were jst kicking anyhw and ddnt let me sleep ooooo, i tried left and right sleeping positions, e no work, I had to start begging that they shud plz let me sleep. Even when I woke to pee severally at night, d kicks continued. Abeg na so 3rd trimester dey be ni?

@sayoddy, I pray (morning and evening devotion) unclad and in bed cos of the heat and discomfort when kneeling and God has been hearing me.


And erm, receiving this weekly news letter frm baby centre makes me feel like I received a promotion letter. Lol. There is this strange joy. Lord i'm grateful.

- is it normal dat I poo 3 times daily everyday. Cos when I wasn't preggy it ws once daily.

- I also feel pains in my ribs, jst under my breast at nights when I sleep.

- I don't sleep anyhow like a preggy mama should. I sleep once at night or sometimes in d afternoon.

- I also eat jst twice in a day and rarely have cravings. I.e my sleeping and eating pattern hasn't really changed

Are all these normal? I'm 27weeks ooo.

had same ish at 28weeks n i think wen ur body doesnt get enuf glucose or so it begins to break dwn ur body fat for energy.my doc gave me multivites n i picked up.it cleared within a week.u can google it dear.cheers
n.b i was always tired n weak at dt period.

thanks for the sharp response. I ws also given multivitamins and calcium (ca-c 1000) was also prescribed cos I complained of leg cramps and numbness of the feet. It is well with us, we shall surely testify in Jesus name.

@all mamas. In my last anc last week. A trace of Ketone ws found in my urine. Doc asked why m nt eating well or so and said to ignore it since it ws jst a trace. Pls what does it mean for ketone to be found, what can I do to get rid of it?

I went shopping on saturday. Av bought almost everything jst left with gears, wardrobe and some other stuffs I recently added to the list. I thank God for providing evn when I least expected.

Lo's have been super active too. Hope to start seeing their elbows when they kick. They give me life alredy!

Av also taken my second TT injection, IPT meds and still taking my folic acid and the rest.
