Make sure the car seat hasn't been in an accident.

. What are u saying! A twin mama that I knw personally gave birth @ 29 weeks in dat same hosp and the kids are doin vry well. I had faith that I ws in gud hands and my pregnancy ws more advanced.

As par d preggy shoot. Lol. I cudnt afford to miss the memories of my first pregnancy. In all, I had so much confidence in God and the doctors that all will be well and i'll go home with my babies.

I'm so worried, for the past few weeks I have noticed my milk flow hs drastically reduced unlike the first few weeks I gave birth and ws expressing for my babies. I feel so inadequate and blame myslf for introducing formula (mayb it's d reason for the drop in flow ).

Pls, pls mamas, what drug/food or wateva can I do or take to increase milk supply/flow

Happy new month mamas. Okay, I had not dropped a BS since I gave birth weeks bfor my EDD bt I feel I shud drop it cos it may be helpful to someone.

MY BIRTH STORY.

It all started on the 30th of May ( d day I clocked 30 weeks), I woke up arnd 2am to pee only to notice that d pee ddnt stop and sth ws flowing out like water even after wiping and wiping, then I realized it's my water leaking oooo. Immediately I tapped DH and tld him to see oooo. Arnd 6am we went to d private clinic I registered, I cudnt meet a gyn ws asked to cm bk by 9am, I cudnt wait oooo, we then went to d health centre I reg and I ws referred to a gen hospital. I ws admitted immediately, cerclage ws removed and I ws expected to fall in2 labour, labour did nt come, no contractions, no bleeding, nothing- nothing only that my water ws leaking. So the doctors started managing d pregnancy with bed-rest, drugs and injections until resident docs strike ejected us frm the hosp.
Few days later, I wnt to d private hosp for anc and tld my doc all that happened d past week. He tld me "hmmmmn, that I had mind to stay at home for some days after I ws snt home due to strike, that I shud go and join JTF to fight BH" LOL.
I ws told that I wud be admitted immediately and CS carried out cos my leading twin ws in distress and d water ws reducing (oligohydraminous) and my babies were at risk of infection. For my mind, I say what! I neva snap pre- baby pix oooooo.. Hahaha. I went home, rearraged my hosp bag, design my face with makeup, dragged dh to d studio and had some beautiful shots. LOL. We then drove frm d studio straight to hosp for admission (that ws arnd 9:45pm).

On the 16th of June 2016 around 11: am @31 weeks 4 days. I ws delivered of two baby angels (boys) 5 mins apart, weighing 1.5 and 1.6kg respectively. . Chei! My hrt melted. I cnt describe the feelings in words.We spent 3 weeks in SCBU (special baby care unit). And we've been doin fabulously well. All glory and praise to God almighty.

TTC Mothers, u will rejoice soon. Indeed God rewards double for the trouble of waiting.

Wishing my team members August mamas and everyother preggy mama an easy delivery when due in Jesus name.

it was d normal 2D scan, But in a vry gud scan lab and an experienced sonologist.

Na before the cerclage. Reason be say make we see inside well wether Na cervical incompetence or wetin before we know wether Na cerclage u really need.

I had a cerclage put and I ddnt need a TVS, neither did I suffer frm repeated miscarriages. It ws d normal scan that detected a slight opening. I run go close am cos I no wan hear stories that touch. Are u experiencing any loss of blood or anything that calls for cerclage?

Please mamas who had cerclage or miscarriage risks, what's your opinion on transvirginal scans during pregnancy? Gynea wants it and am like Biko make me manage normal scan. She no gree. I never do am yet.

Hian! TVS when ure nt evn permitted to evn kpekus with a cerclage on. Biko, I dnt think it's okay to do a TVS oooo (IMO). Besides, what's d reason for the TVS?

Your bags weren't packed cost you skipped 2 months and dh had to go and quickly buy at the hospital. As per man, he bought oversize of the boys clothes and the right size for the pink..... I correct?

tanx mama zaynie. U so wrong. Lol. We knew our babies sex since 3mnths so we were ready. I had bought evrytin and ws ready @6mnths. DH open eyez go buy pink, when he brought it home and I ws like "woman cloth!!", he ws seriously arguing that it's nt pink and that it's unisex.lol. Till today I taunt him with d dress. D dress must nt waste sha. Lol

thank you dear. depends on where ure based. In d hosp I used, they have a SCBU (special care baby unit), 24hr monitor and care for the babies.
I advice that she eats well so the babies can gain weight. Avoid stress and pray, pray, pray and all will be well.

Oh! I tot as much @babythug, my pediatrician tot me d tummy time method and said my baby has too much gas in his tummy dat I dnt burp him well.

@rofemiguwa, babythug is right. D pead said so to me. My babies were placed on abidec cos they are preemies and need additional vitamins. She said she dsnt give it to healthy term babies.

I'll ask if I can intro cod liver oil to my babies too.

Yes it is normal. Many babies do it. Could be an early sign of colic which can be managed by you watching your diet-avoid overly spicy foods, dairy products and excessive beans.

Then ensure they burp well after feeds. Also you can massage tummy gently with heated towel. Also bicycle method where they lie down and you move the legs like they're on a bike. Tummy time also works to manage it but it must be well supervised.

For your questions once babies start taking formula typically thier poopoo constituents change.. Please ensure you're using the right measurements as stated on the tin of milk. And ensure the bottles are properly sterilised as well....

To make him poop you can give him a few teaspoons of warm water it should help!

tnx Teamie. He pooped one massive-watery-greenish poop (sorry for tmi). He is sleeping peacefully now cos he ws so restless earlier.

Again, is it normal for them to stretch and make grunting sounds?
