AlphaHandMaiden: You wash with the conditioner instead, so add water like you want to wash and instead of shampoo, use conditioner... some will even lather up. Rinse as normal . It will remove sweat and most of the dirt if the hair is reall dirtyf or a baby, you may not even need anything else. thanks mam. Kisses to alphababy |

Onegai: Mompurity2, I wash once a week with Sebamed Baby shampoo and use an organic conditioner daily, followed by a blend of shea and cocoa butter with coconut oil to seal in the moisture then comb with a wide-toothed comb. I only comb her hair when it's wet or she will cry. There are a lot of Nigerian organic companies that make conditioners for kids (I even saw some from Ghana) that you can try. I never knew people wash babies hair once a week ooo. Chai.... so I have been stressing my babies scalp since . I will stop washing daily. Thanks ma. |

AlphaHandMaiden: Lovely babies.... Alphababy, oya come and borrow hair here oh... Washing twice a day is too much i think You can wash just once or twice a week eith shampoo, inbetween(like every other day) omit the shampoo and just use conditioner and rinse off it is called co-washing.
Before each bath, spray some water ( not a full rinse oh) to damping the hair, and when you finish with the bath, add your cream/oil and comb as usual. If you have a spray bottle that will be good, but not essential. won't the hair smell from sweating, if i dont wash often cos our weather here is very hot. I will try your method. I hope I will come back to testify. Thanks for your suggestion . @feddy27, yes o. Those are your twinnes ooo. Growing with speed. We bless God. How is my handsome baby and baby fedora doing? Send my kisses. I will try your suggestion. But won't water or soap touch the hair. Cos my babies are hyperactive during bath time. They love bathing . @dexterush, thanks mum. Saw your cuties too. I'm in love. Send my kisses. I will try not washing often. Can you suggest any good hair care product for babies (brand).?. @comtem2011, thanks for helping highlight my question. Kisses to your lo |

Please help with suggestions. My babies have very thick and full hair. They cry every morning and night when combing since they were 3 months plus. I have been using coconut oil and shea butter mix on their hair from birth. How do i manage to groom their hair without causing them so much pain? . Mamas how often do you wash you babies hair? Is washing and combing twice daily too much? What can I use to make combing easier? Nb:I use a wide toothed comb too it breaks my heart to see them in pain |

Maureensylvia, you got me there . You no try ooooo @xeexee1, I am currently using Molfix for my babies. I noticed when I was using vaseline as nappy cream they were having rashes on and off. But since I stopped using anything on their bum, just the diaper alone , they have been rash free for close to 2 months now. So you can vary the molfix again , but without nappy cream this time. |

Onegai: mompurity2 and prettyhurts, welcome to the club. Baby E did the same (and hers was much worse!), my niece did the same (and at 8 months switched fully to Eba and ogbono soup). A lot of babies do this, and try as you may to change formulas and feeding patterns, sometimes they decide to start drinking again from a bottle by themselves or sometimes they just don't want it anymore. If your babies are above the age of 6 months, start weaning and concentrate on foods rich in Calcium (like sweet potatoes) and load her with veggies and maybe add a vitamin supplement. oshey mama. I went back to the formula I started using for them and they are eating like they missed something. I guess it was the new formula I introduced then. Thanks for always responding darling. May God bless our los |

Hello mamas. I just noticed for some days now that my babies no longer want to take formula in their feeding bottle, they rather just play with it like they are sucking or they push the feeder to the corner of their mouth and use their gum to make the milk flow. And this is making them not to eat well. Could this be a phase? Or they no longer like the formula I changed to or what? Has anyone experienced something like this |

Bia mamas, is today not thread babies again? . I came to see yummy cuties oooo. Meanwhile, today was our 4 months immunization. I am so so thankful to God that my babies are super healthy and adding weight well. As we are talking about cream things, let me ask. I have been using only chicco massage oil on my babies body (excluding the face) and sometimes coconut oil when I make, but I noticed my baby's face is lighter than their body despite the fact I don't rub cream on face. Is it normal? ?? |

Onegai: No vex, I had to do a lot of scrolling and I missed it a couple of times. It's good their necks are getting strong. Honestly, I would wait till 4 months or even 4 and a half months, there's no rush. Try and lie them down propped on a pillow first. I didn't check any guideline so i wouldn't keep panicking that "baby isn't sitting, isn't walking, has no teeth, didn't get elected for School President, doesn't have a boyfriend, hasn't finished learning how to colour neatly so may not get admission into an Ivy league university". So, start sitting them propped up with pillows behind them in 2 weeks' time? hahaha.... you are one hilarious mama. I have started putting them on the pillow but wanted to be sure or stop if I am being too fast. Thanks for the compliment too. |
