that cant be the only reason
strange is no Prince Charming either,he was still kind of a douche even through is humbling phase.

I really enjoyed his battle with that domamu guy.
Stephen Strange is not just a douche but a lovable douche
Namor is an anti-hero, he's not a good guy, he's a bastard. He doesn't mind killing anyone and even when he saves he does it for his own selfish reasons. I don't know how the others heroes cope with him: he's not a team player, never sticks to the plan, carries out his own agenda. You can't trust Namor with a knife at your back. I was so happy last year in the comics when Black Panther finally paid him back in his own coin. Namor was responsible for the destruction of Wakanda and he thought BP had forgotten. T'challa merely waited for the right time to kill Namor him. I don't like Namor period

That last fight was great, not everytime the final boss fight has to be flash and explosions, sometimes it's just a battle of wit. That's how Doctor Strange's battles usually go, because he's fighting beings much more powerful than him that he can't kill so he has to outsmart them, or trap them with words or bonds they can't break or just delay the inevitable. Most times it's a bargain of one kind or another, other times it's a sacrifice, best case scenario when Strange sold his soul(literally). He usually finds a way to win it back most times but that man is going to have knock very loudly at heaven's gate for anyone to hear him

RUMOR: Marvel Finally Moving Forward With The SUB-MARINER - But Will It Be A Movie Or TV Series?

https://www.comicbookmovie.com/namor_the_submariner/rumor-marvel-finally-moving-forward-with-the-sub-mariner-a148985
I don't understand, how will they find space for a Namor movie with the great number of films they have planned? And I don't think a series will do him justice. They could do it like Inhumans and make it a movie/series but we don't even know if that experiment will work. Maybe because I've never been the biggest Namor fan(he's a douchebag) but I'm not excited at all

Seriously, the visual effects were worth the admission ticket. That visual effect Oscar nomination no be beans-o
Fully deserved mehn. I can't stress how much I lover the movie. Got some minor complaints: I know they were trying to show that he's still learning and everything but he's really not as powerful as in the comics. Also where are his famous catch phraseshuh By the Vishanti! By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! By the Wondrous Wands of Watoomb! By the Shades of Seraphim! In the comics everytime he practices magic and draws power from one dimension, he names the beings that let him access it, it's like seeing James Bond without his tech gear and black suit and car and without him saying "My name is Bond, James Bond". It just doesn't feel right

And I wished we'd seen more of his mystical artifacts, they're plenty. And was that thing that restrained Kaecilus supposed to be the great Crimson Bands of Cyttorak?? But that's not how it is lol...I'm beginning to sound like a spoiled comic nerd. I should be grateful for the amount of things they got right, and stop complaining about the few they got wrong. Ancient One, Mordo, the Cloak of Levitation 5/5! I like the changes they made to Wong, he's less dependent on Strange than in the comics which is good. I can't wait for part 2 when they delve deeper into Doctor Strange lore, let me just tell you guys, you've seen nothing yet! Shuma-Gorath, Nightmare, Mephisto, Umar....let me just say Doctor Strange is about to get a whole lot weirder

Also the post credit scenes were far better than those in Civil War. I think I'm in the minority but I loved this movie more than Civil War. I know I know, Civil War is awesome but this movie is just too.....Strange

So I finally had the good fortune to watch Doctor Strange.......and all I can say is I wish I had watched this at a cinema. My problem with the film was that it ended too fast, I need part 2 and I need it now!

Kevin Feige, Master of the MCU dimension, I've come to bargain!

Looks good so far, only complaint is the low budget effects at the end. Good storytelling. I had really low expectations for this series but they've convinced me to keep watching.

SirWere:
Top 5huh Bro; thre are literally hundreds of books that shape up the event of one's life.
Off my head, I can mention 15 books that would stick with you.

Just 5huh Ahh angry

Well; seeing this is constricted; I'll pick 5 books from 5 different authors.

1) The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky

2) The Trial : Frank Kafka

3) The remains of the day by Kaguro Ishiguro

4) 1984 by George Orwell

and....

Catch 22 by Joseph Heller cheesy
Good list, not the Ishiguro book I'd have picked but each to his own

It's funny (and kinda contradictory honestly) that you have number 3&5 in your list but also think the Bible is a must.
You see contradiction, I see knowledge to be gained. I listed books that are essential, 5 books I feel would give someone a good education as anyone can get from just 5 books. That's my answer
LiteratureRe: What Are The Top 5 Books One Must Read In Their Lifetime And Why? by moneyallowed(m): 7:24am On Jan 24, 2017
There are a lot of excellent books and these things are subjective but in my view everyone should read these books before they die, or God will have some interesting questions for you

1. THE OZIDI SAGA by J P CLARK
It's amazing the number of Nigerians who have never read this book. How can you claim to love books but you've never read arguably the magnum opus? If I were to pick a book by a Nigerian author everyone should read, this is it. The perfect retelling of an African legend, our own Iliad.

2. 1984 by GEORGE ORWELL

If you want to know fear, read this book.

3. A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME by STEPHEN HAWKING

If you know nothing about science and you're looking for a book that explains in layman's terms the things that the experts say with big grammar without really explaining......this is the book for you

4. WATERSHIP DOWN by RICHARD ADAMS

Simple and effective, sometimes the best writing isn't the most complex but the one that touches you the most. You can't read this without crying once or twice

5. A SHORT HISTORY OF NEARLY EVERYTHING by BILL BRYSON

From the title I think you get the general idea

P.S I wanted to include the bible, but if you don't already know you should read that then you're on a long thing

the funny thing is that fox wont give back the x men rights as long as the movies are successful,i dont understand why they still hold on to the movie rights to the fantastic four
They'll never give up X-men. The X-men characters are so many and their stories are so deep that they can keep making movies based on them for at least 20 years. They can do New Mutants, House of M, Messiah Complex, Mutant Massacre, Schism, Fall of Mutants. They can shuffle the team around to Weapon X, X Factor, X Force, Generation X.....As long as they don't hire a stupid director and they develop all the characters they're set. X-men are so rich, there's a reason Marvel wants them back

I don't think they would fit in with the current MCU anyway so maybe that's for best. Fantastic Four will happen someday bro, just keep on believing. Who would have guessed we would get Spider-Man back?

is fox trying to reboot this xmen franchise ?
we all expect logan to die in this coming movie.
They've been trying to reboot it now for a long time, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender were supposed to be the new stars and help them reboot the franchise totally. Now that has failed they're turning to Deadpool to help them, there's talk of him leading new mutants with Cable, Domino etc. They don't have a solid direction beyond Deadpool 2. They're probably waiting to see how Logan does (fingers crossed) and maybe fans will like X-23 and they can have something to work with post-Hugh Jackman

I personally think they're confused. If they had developed all the X-men characters instead of only focusing on Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto and Xavier they would have a plan B by now, but no. Now people are tired of them, Hugh Jackman is retiring and they don't have backup. Well maybe they do and it's Deadpool, but that was mostly mistake not by design

I'll be content with more Deadpool and X-23 in the near future, anything as long as it's not this Dark Phoenix storyline they've been trying to shove down our throats

Lol 6 months! If you could finish JJ then you should definitely finish DD. You're my brother and I won't wish evil on my brother so just take my advice and never ever try to watch Luke Cage. If they tell you to follow them and watch, nna tell them you're coming

u don watch Dr strange?
Please let's all agree to pretend that Luke Cage never happened. Hopefully this year the series will be better. They're making 5 new series, one of them has to be good (I hope). Inhumans and Defenders are only 8 episodes each so that's looking good

Doctor Strange deserved to be watched in Cinema and I wasn't able to do that. So I promised myself I would wait for a very clear copy

WhiteNoise:
DCEU movies so far have a dark tone (Wonder Woman is looking different) but how long can the MCU keep up the comedic light tone especially in Avengers Infinity War without making Thanos appear unserious or the stakes appear as not high enough.
Regarding Thanos also, his motivations in the movies will matter for me. If it is to woo his mistress death (probably Hela: the villain of Thor Ragnarok) then I won't be impressed. If it is to amass power for himself for the sake of power, I won't be impressed. I will only be impressed if he's trying to save the universe in a sadistic way & the Avengers show him a better way.
PS: My prediction is Hela gives him the Soul Stone either in a post-credit scene of Ragnarok or in Infinity War
I have to be blunt, this is just stupid. You'll only be impressed if he tries to save the universe in a sadistic way? It's quite clear you don't know what you're talking about.

The myth about DC and their "dark tone" is just that, a myth. Suicide Squad proved that, in their own words Justice League won't be dark. Please go somewhere else with this half baked analysis
