I'm so relieved. Tbh I thought this Spider-Man was going to be bad, I'm so glad. Tom Holland is the best Peter Parker, no question. Vulture was a great choice for villain, I think that old joke about Marvel villains is gone out of the window.

So much to praise, for once they actually made it about high school, for once no Uncle Ben dying, for once no tired origin story, for once no wasted villains. It's funny Spidey has one of the best rogue galleries but his best films have been about the lesser villains - Doctor Octopus, now Vulture.

If I have any complaints about anything, it's the post credits scenes. Ffs marvel! Worst post credit scenes ever lol

What does everyone think about this Venom movie Sony is releasing? Contradicting reports about whether it will be set in the MCU or not. I just hope they don't waste Venom and Carnage, those are two epic villains

Also does anyone else have low expectations for Spider-Man Homecoming? Maybe it's the trailers but personally I've set my various low so I don't get disappointed. The movie is out in two weeks and I'm not feeling the usual hype I feel for Marvel movies

New Synopsis for Black Panther

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life

cheesy teenage groot......

Mehn shocked shocked that stan lee part is a fan theory oooo wawu......

AW may probably appear in IW since he played a Major part in the comics.....

Just imagine if Deadpool makes a joke abt stan lee nxt year.....

grin
How do the fit Adam Warlock in? The reasons I think he won't be in it are 1- James Gunn already said Warlock won't be in Infinity War
2- The Infinity Gauntlet. The Gems were the main story arc for him in the comics but in the MCU, Thanos already has the Gauntlet and the Gems are almost all accounted for, plus Vision is already playing his role so to speak so what's the use of bringing him up in Infinity War?

3- It just makes more sense to put him as a villain after Thanos has been defeated. Guardians 3 will be after IW, the Guardians will return to space and safeguard the Galaxy against a new threat. AW is the obvious choice, they can do the Magus storyline. They can't do Annihilus, use Galactus or Kang because Fox still has F4. At least that's what I think

MrDojo:
grin grin hehehe..... abeg come n give us spoilers on gotg post credit scenes. ...
Spoilers of course

1. The first one is a spoiler for the movie itself so all I'll say is that it features Kraglin fooling around with someone else's weapon. It's the funniest post credit scene out of all of them

2. This one showed the original Guardians of the Galaxy crew from the comics reuniting. I only recognized Stakar(Sylvester Stallone), Mainframe and Martinex. One of them did a magic symbol like Doctor Strange and he's not human so it probably shows that other species can practice magic

3. This one was the sweetest for me. They showed Ayesha about to be summoned to the high council to explain what went down in the movie proper. Then she reveals that she's gotten the perfect instrument to take revenge on the Guardians and the camera reveals the birthing pod of...... Adam Warlock!

So that's a potential villain for part 3 if they want to go down that route. Or he could show up in Infinity War, I doubt it but it would be awesome

4. This one showed a few years later when Groot has grown up a little and he's a teenager in his room playing video games and Star-Lord walks in and complains like an angry parent about how Groot isn't keeping his room tidy and Groot responds like a typical teenager

5. The big one. So they show the Watchers with Uatu at the helm and guess who's telling them all about what he's seen on earth? STAN LEE

Which basically confirms that all the Stan Lee cameos in all the Marvel movies are Stan Lee as the same character, hiding in plain sight as a spy for the Watchers. Mind officially blown!

My sister came in and saw me watching Legion... Then she said, "how are u still watching this movie when we av not yet finished AOS, JJ and GotG2 is out?". That was how she won without arguments and that was last I watched legion.. And funny enough, I don't miss it. Mind bending crap
Legion is most definitely not crap, it's better than all the shows you mentioned. Mind bending is a actually a strong point of the series, not a weakness. It's just that sometimes you need to take a break when it gets too trippy and resume at a later date, and that's what I did

Those people watching Legion, is it still as awesome as y'all proclaimed?

I'm still trying to muster the courage to watch Iron Fist as I dey here like this. It's not even a matter of entertainment again, it's a matter of responsibility sad
I stopped Legion halfway through, was getting too confusing and had other stuff to watch

If I watch this show ehn..... thunder fire cao, moneyallowed and mjbolt... angry
Seriously man the costumes are shit, I don't even know where to start. Medusa looks shit, Black Bolt doesn't even have his mask.......my expectations for this series totally dropped when I heard that the guy that did Iron Fist is in charge of Inhumans, I just lost interest fast

Right now it's not looking good, even Cloak and Dagger and Runaways are looking like they'll be better than this

GotG 2 is the sexiest Marvel movie ever! Best cinematography hands down and I think The Chain by Fleetwood Mac may be my favorite MCU soundtrack

Drax and Yondu stole the show. Love the character development in this movie, love the Easter eggs, love the film period. No spoilers but if you liked part 1, you'll like this one and if you didn't like the first part, watch it anyway.

Can't wait for Part 3!

Yup, there are indeed 5 post credit scenes. GotG v2 did not suck! Although, they did cram a lot of jokes in there. Seriously, at one point it made AAoA look like a drama. Way too many quips, but I did laugh at most of them. I'll give MCU credit they didn't spoil the plot with the trailers. Make sure you don't miss the opening sequence.

Oh and be ready for the feels. The second half of the film is really something.
Thanks Cao

Is it better than Vol 1? Who stole the show for you? Oh and which mixtape do you prefer, this or Vol 1?

Marvel’s New Warriors is a new comedic live-action adaptation of the popular Marvel comic featuring young adult heroes.

The following characters will be featured in the series:

Doreen Green (Squirrel Girl)
Superpower: “The powers of a squirrel, the powers of a girl” (is acrobatic, strong, can fight, can talk to squirrels)
Doreen is a totally empowered fangirl. She is a natural leader—confident and tough, but not innocent. Doreen is bouncy and energetic and her greatest quality is her optimism… She has faith in others and inspires people to believe in themselves. She also takes her pet squirrel, Tippy Toe, everywhere.

Craig Hollis (Mister Immortal)
Superpower: Cannot die. Ever. Maybe. So he says.
The team troublemaker and lothario… Craig is kind of like “The Most Interesting Man Alive,” except he’s more cocky than confident and at times, charmingly grumpy. Although Craig’s superpower seems amazing, he hasn’t made use of it at all—he’s lazy and figures if he has all the time in the world to learn how to fight, what’s the rush?

Dwayne Taylor (Night Thrasher)
Superpower: None
Dwayne is a local celebrity “hero” with his very own YouTube channel. Brilliant, strong, noble, and maybe a bit full of himself, Dwayne is a shameless self-promoter and entrepreneur. But he also deeply believes in justice — at least his version of it. Dwayne hides the fact that he comes from a really rich family because he’s afraid he’ll lose his street cred.

Robbie Baldwin (Speedball)
Superpower: Can launch kinetic balls of energy
Robbie grew up watching Quinjets take off from Avengers Tower and loves the idea of being a hero. He’s an impulsive and immature people-pleaser with a misplaced sense of confidence. Although you would think throwing kinetic balls of energy would be awesome and effective – his are completely out of control.

Zack Smith (Microbe)
Superpower: Can talk to germs
Zack is a shy hypochondriac whose ability nearly makes him a telepath — the germs tell him where you’ve been, what you ate and who you hung out with. It’s impossible to keep secrets around him. He’s a big sweet guy the team takes under their wing, and they help him find and grow his own confidence.

Deborah Fields (Debrii)
Superpower: Low level telekinetic; trickster
Deborah is proud, funny and quick witted. Confidently out as a lesbian, Deborah has experienced deep loss in her personal life as a direct result of super “heroics.” She can take care of herself, or at least says she can. She’s the one who calls people on their BS and has no fear of putting her opinions out there.

So the critic reactions to GotG Vol 2 are pouring in on twitter, and they're good! Embargoed for now but full reviews are due next week Monday!

More importantly James Gunn has confirmed that
1 - He will be writing and directing GotG part 3! (Yaay! The first MCU director to direct a full trilogy)

2 - GotG Vol 2 will have 5 post credit scenes... 5!!

We're so spoiled

Lol but Legion is crazy good. Fox really surprised me with that one, was expecting another brainless show. They put a lot of thought onto it and it shows. Legion is a great show, if you can stand being confused and not knowing what's really happening

Already watching it (started at 7am GMT, when it launched), I did fall asleep though during episode 6 - temperature in my room, just became very sleepy. It's definitely slow, I can see why the critics had issues. For a show about kung fu, it doesn't actually have much of it (now on episode 7).
You will surely be rewarded in heaven for all your sacrifices on behalf of the Marvel Universe.......and so I hereby prophesy..... your star shall burn bright in the dying light of mankind and when all hope is lost men shall look to your banner and gain hope and when your burdens become top great to bear, then shall you feel the breeze shift at your back and a voice shall call unto you, come in glory my fairest daughter and you shall turn to behold and lo! It be shall be Stan Lee that calls you and all your burdens shall vanish away and Stan the Man shall kiss your hair and whisper in your ear......

And you shall wake up and discover it was only a dream, and with a heavy sigh you shall open your laptop to try and finish the episode of Iron Fist that made you fall asleep
TV/MoviesRe: Marvel Cinematic Universe by moneyallowed(m): 2:14pm On Mar 17, 2017
See how the poor reviews killed all the Iron Fist hype lol. The whole season dropped today yet no one has said anything

Someone here should volunteer to watch it on our behalf and report his/her findings
