Thanks for the links guys, started watching and I love it already. Luke Cage is the most mature of all the Netflix shows, at least from what I can see so far. I can already tell the role he'll play in the Defenders, he'll be the grown up voice of reason on the team

Yes the the anad run. I think you meant JL not JL rebirth, that's the best selling comic of last month, Civil War 11 is still the best selling of the year. JL can surpass Civil Was if it tops the list for August, we'll see. DC's killing it currently with their comics: Wonder Woman, Dark Knight 111 and The Sheriff of Babylon are all great. For Marvel, Vision, Silver Surfer and Black Panther are probably the best this year

They'll reboot it eventually but for now I'm enjoying Sam as Cap. He's more flexible and funnier than Steve ever was.

The whole change thing was done deliberately methinks. The minorities in America are on the rise and they're questioning why most of the superheroes are white. If they want to keep selling they have to change with the times. That's why Cap is now black, Spiderman is Latino (Miles Morales), Hulk is Asian(Amadeus Cho). Thor,Wolverine, Iron Man, Blade and Hawkeye are female(Jane Foster, Laura Kinney, Riri Williams,Fallon Gray and Kate Bishop).Not forgetting the first ever Muslim superhero, Kamala Khan, things are definitely changing in comics and it might not be a bad thing. As long as the quality of the comics don't drop I'm all for it

He took no serum o, just the old Sam with the telepathy with birds and the suit. Steve had aged and appointed Sam as his successor. They've all handed over now in All New ,All Different Marvel.... Thor,Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, Hawkeye. New team as in new guys are wearing the titles, well except for Kamala ,she was always around but she's awesome like that

I think they're foreshadowing what will happen in the movies, these current avengers will have to hand over at some point

No he's not, he was apparently killed in Civil War 1, however he just got lost in time. Red Skull returned him to the present day to take over his body, he eventually defeated him sha. Steve Rogers is no longer Cap,that's Sam Wilson.Steve is still busy,even became SHIELD chief

Anyone complaining about the Hydra reveal concerning Captain America is obviously not reading the comics but following internet gist. That was revealed in the first issue and everyone was making noise about it,why you haven't heard anyone talk about it anymore is cos they'll look stupid now. Like I said anyone who regularly reads comics wouldn't have freaked out by the whole thing, usually they have a heel turn or twist in the first issue in order to increase sales for the rest of the run. That first issue is still the best selling comic of the year thanks to the controversy, cos people fell for it

Anyway I'll highly recommend the series,a lot of stuff is going down that I won't spoil here,just know if you don't catch up on it ,you might be lost when the whole thing is over. There's a whole changing of the guard thing going on now,really exciting

Ol' girl knows her X-Men comics. Proper X-Men fangirl. The whole Phoenix thing as a personality of Jean instead of a cosmic entity annoys the hell out of me. I'll never forget how I exclaimed "bulls***!" during the flashback scene in X3, where Xavier said the Pheonix was a split personality of Jean.

The studio is to blame. To anxious to make money so they take the control from the director and chip in what they think audiences like. So you get a case where Justice League and Suicide Squad were supposed to be dark, deep films but they become filled with jokes in an effort to make them lighter and fun. Marvel went down this road and it didn't work out, that's why they give their directors more freedom. Marvel have found the formula that works for them after many attempts, it's foolish to think that copying their success will work. DC need to chill and step back, it's not a race, take the time to make good movies and the money will come, because at this rate even if the next movie is great, people may have already become biased against the DCEU and the box office returns might drop

I had high hopes for Suicide Squad so it's really sad to see the negative reviews. I'll still watch it though, been looking forward to it for too long. For those of you that were all "Sack Snyder", think it's time to admit the studio might might be the problem and not the director

I remember I thought it was funny that a magic user was your favourite superhero .

Hulk got me hooked early in life thanks to the TV show so he's the first one I loved. When I started reading comics though, Strange became my favourite, he's awesome man. A typical Strange adventure always has a near death/ real death experience, and interdimensional weird stuff
So times when people ask my best I just tell them Hulk to avoid long story because he's more accessible, but the good doctor is where my heart is

Marvel should try and do another standalone Hulk movie. Hulk and the incredible hulk was poorly protrayed. although the incredible hulk was better. The Gamma ray exposed Superhero deserve it. before Iron man 4 we need Planet Hulk or World War Hulk, whatever Stan Lee decides.

Marvel have released their movie slate up till 2019 so it can't happen before then if at all. Hulk is my favourite hero but I don't think Planet Hulk should happen. The Incredible Hulk made the least money out of all the MCU films so it's hard to justify a sequel financially.

World War Hulk would be amazing onscreen but it won't happen. In order to build that story, you have to show Hulk being the bad guy and the Avengers betraying him like the comics and we've been there and done that already. Hulk has gone rogue in the MCU so many times that it's too much at this point. Planet Hulk is more feasible but rumour is that Thor Ragnarok will have some Planet Hulk elements in it

We don't know what plan they have for him after the Thanos storyline so anything is possible but a Hulk solo film is unlikely
