Celebrities / Death And Celebrity Are What Nigerians Care About The Most Says Google by Moneyman101: 10:21am On Jan 08, 2015
Turns out that the best way to get attention in Nigeria is to die. That, and to play for Manchester United. Or both.
See the top 9 people Google says Nigerians searched for in 2014.

The list is very surprising.

Education / Re: Top 10 Worst Degrees With Lowest Potential For Employment In Nigeria Today by Moneyman101: 7:54pm On Jan 03, 2015
Actually, with the exception of number 4: Religious studies, these are among the courses people SHOULD be doing in Nigeria today. The Oil Company era is over. It's all about entrepreneurship now.

"10 forest and wildlife management(wonderwhat you wana do with these, mayb you will use the certificate for cutting of woods in the forest)"

This one, especially the comment in brackets is particularly unfortunate. This should be one of the backbones of the Nigerian economy, but we've been so short sighted by oil all these years.

Now that the oil business is in the dustbin, maybe we Nigerians will wake up and use the abundant resources we've always had.

Business / Why Nigerians Have A Bad Rep On Fiverr by Moneyman101: 4:43pm On Nov 08, 2014
Nigerians have a bad reputation on Fiverr. This hinders honest Nigerian sellers from getting even their first order.
If you've tried selling on Fiverr from Naija, you know what I'm talking about.

Have a look at why we think this is, and how to overcome it.
[Hint; includes step-by-step guide to start getting orders the correct way]

Google is now clamping down on blogs and websites that use PBNs to get SEO ranking.

Please avoid using them if you love your site traffic. We've blogged about it.

Business / Are Boko Haram And Ebola Boosting Online Business In Nigeria? by Moneyman101: 8:54am On Aug 08, 2014
New Article on Gidibusiness. http://www.gidibusiness.com/2014/08/08/boko-haram-and-ebola-to-boost-online-business-in-nigeria/

Question is; stuck between Boko Haram and Ebola, are Nigerians being driven to think of alternative ways to earn money that don't involve traveling to work in crowded 'molue' and 'danfo' buses? Is your Okada rider Ebola positive? If your business is online based, like say Nairaland.com, do these threats boost your business rather than hinder it?

Health / Re: Black Men And The Curse Of Shaving Bumps (ingrown Hairs): Help! by Moneyman101: 2:41pm On Jul 30, 2014
Bumps are complex. All depends on

1. What you shave with
2. How you shave
3. When you shave
4. What you do after you shave

For me, I think it may be better not to shave at all.
