Silas Adekunle, a 26-year-old Nigerian, credited for building the world’s first gaming robot, has just become the highest paid in the field of Robotic engineering.

Adekunle achieved this feat after signing a new deal with the world’s reputable software manufacturers, Apple Inc.
The robotics engineer was also named as “Someone to Watch in 2018” by the Black Hedge Fund Group, according to reports by thebossnewspapers.com.

AT LAST, EKITI STATE CHANGE ITS RETROGRESSIVE 'BAD' WAGON TOGA OF A POVERTY INCLINED, RECKLESS AND INCESTUOUS FOUR YEARS PAUSE FOR A DYNAMIC, REFORMED, ASTUTE ADMINISTRATIVE PENDULUM OF OUR NEW GOVERNOR ELECT JOHN KAYODE FAYEMI

As the flag-off campaign train of the now APC governor-elect, Dr John Kayode Fayemi popularly called JKF trod through the streets of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital before the unfortunate friendly fire turned sour mishap hitting Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele and five other innocent party faithfuls, one song rendition stating; 'Mo ti sha pra-pra, Mo ti sha pro-pro' translated in local parlance to mean that i have learnt some lessons and i am now reformed was joyfully sang by our new governor, JKF.

What is striking about that note was the obvious admission by JKF that he is a changed person as he had used the period of his sojourn at Abuja as the federal Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources to gone through positive reflections about what the Ekiti people truly want which of course meant that they actually want their leader to be extrovertly close to them.

Even if educational values pursuit remain innately relevant in the dilly-dilly business of economic survival of an average Ekiti man, they still want their leader to display the highest pedigree of empathy and concern in every of their traditional and social engagements but not Governor Fayose had won nationwide popularity with his streetwise attitude, but it is doubtful if that attitude won him any serious approval among the Ekiti who have the reputation of having the most schooled persons in the country.

It is incontrovertible that Dr John Kayode Fayemi who performed creditably well at his national assignment with which one of its significant highlight was the comprehensive and tactful evaluation of the steps to take in the quest for effective resuscitation of the moribund Ajaokuta Steel company.

However, what remain indelible in the minds of Ekiti people was that their 'Ilufemiloye' son did not get too carried away with the daunting cusp of reordering the new order as encapsulated in the change mantra of President Muhammadu Buhari which center on the collective goal to move our dear country away from a mono based economy one with total dependence on oil to a diversified one by embracing ideas that will revamp and develop other abundant natural resources in effective nation building but, he remain in constant touch with his people with periodic visits to his kinsmen social functions and the attraction of various human capacity development and empowerment opportunities to his people in form of Youths in Agri-business, NPOWER e.t.c.

Ekiti people decided to vote out the morbid, brazen misdemeanor of their entertaining leader who had gone so arrogant within the purview of decorum that even both inside and out the ring, his lordship loquacious hard-line had gone berserk and had became an eyesore.

We got tired of his street-style leadership that has caused us more pain than goodies.
Ekiti people welcome back saner Dr John Kayode Fayemi with their votes as his first efforts in the saddle paid off as the state took the lead in virtually all indices of human development as attested to by local and international bodies and in major changes in the lives of the citizens.

THE FAILED ORDER TO EKITI PEOPLE AND THE SINKING SHIP OF THE UNSUNG 'EBORA TO N JE BAILOUT'

A lot of agitations by progressive minded folks of recent has tilted towards the goal of saving Ekiti people from the doldrums of political and economic meltdown precipitated by the present administration led by Fayose/Eleka as well as to return the pristine identity and academic values the state is known for back to the hey days of the last two decades.

We have always cry blue murder over the ill perception of our people being too gullible and easily adaptive to pauperism tokenism created by the divisive, deceptive nature of the unsung masquerade called 'Ebora to n je bailout'. Even if, the timeless values of honor, dignity, nobility and civility encapsulated in the Omoluabi ethos have been eroded in the last 3 and half years but we also need to applaud the fact that finally, Ekiti people had shown that they are tired of his diversionary antics and his melo-dramatic political tirades.

It is an incontrovertible fact that the present administration of Fayose had enjoyed all sort of unprecedented windfall from the days of GEJ when oil barrel was sold for $100 and over N21Bn was given to him for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship development but unaccounted for coupled with the financial largess by PMB which was actually given out with sole aim of payments of backlog of salaries and wages owed workers nationwide. It came in form of two tranches of bailout that was valued at N9.7Bn and N9.4Bn coupled with the Paris fund of N10Bn.

Yet as i write, there is massive hunger in the land because core civil servants are owed 7 months, LG workers 10 months, community health workers had not gotten 10 month arrears, Pensioners are not smiling to the bank for over 10 months yet the masquerade who had eaten up all the bailouts is dancing around the truth creating all sort of diversionary encumbearances. The truth is if not for the advent of boys on the wire, a lot of economic activities would have shut down totally.

The latest records from the Debt Management Office(DMO) shows that the current administration has borrowed N56Bn since coming to power as against the misconception that JKF had borrowed much more. He mismanaged those funds by sky-rocketing the value of his projects thereby causing untold hardship on the people of the State. Funny enough, a lot of his illiterate sympathizers who had been hoodwinked with Cock-and-Bull stories had not find time to check facts and figures.

How do you expect someone owed salaries and impoverished by the same bailout eating masquerade to come out voting for his baby, Eleka in furtherance of poverty. Perhaps, he assumed that Ekiti people do not understand that the dynamics of continuity as preached by him is actually a decoy to save him from giving a proper account of his stewardship and the fear of facing the looming gauntlet hanging around his neck.

Trust me, a lot of us know the truth and will not hesitate to do the needful this Saturday, July 14th no matter what the fearful propagandist says on radio or television with trepidation because he knows that there is no hiding place for him anymore. He did everything humanly possible to dissuade Ekiti people from attending the final rally of the incoming Governor of immense value, erudite scholar, Dr John Kayode Fayemi by asking shops to close up plus the orthodox stay-at-home order given to commercial vehicles but Ekiti people rose to say no to that dictatorial nuance by coming out in large numbers to welcome President Muhamadu Buhari and to signify their support for a true change of baton.

We hail Ekiti people from the 16 Local Government Areas for stamping the seal of approval over the quest of our 'Ilufemiloye' son, Dr John Kayode Fayemi to restore our dignity as well as make poverty eradication, education and healthcare delivery the focal point of his 8 point agenda of Governance, Infrastructural Development, Modernizing Agriculture, Education and Human Capital Development, Health Care Services, Industrial Development, Tourism Development, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment.

EKITI STATE DEBT HAS RISEN TO N117 BILLION UNDER FAYOSE IN 3 YEARS!

I sympathize with every single individual of Ekiti origin, both home and abroad, who are being deceived, and cajoled by the deceptive nature of Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose and decide to vote for Eleka again to continue to siphon our lean resources.

While the Lord of the rings is busy ripping off our dear state at all fronts and engaging the innocent citizenry in theatrics the 'Agbero' way; buying 'ponmo', cutting meat, sharing 1kg rice, drinking 'trophy' beer to create the image of the Governor of the streets our scarce resources is being deployed into cosmetic projects with balloon-ed costs.

To create alibi for his seething misappropriation, he had consistently engaged in diversionary political artistry with sheer propaganda against Buhari turning himself into a Prophet of doom giving us concoctions of several soothsaying prediction alluding to age or death of PMB.

Now, the narration has changed and out of desperation and palpable fear of the outcome of July 14th election, he is spreading fathomable stories of APC this-and that to deceitfully cover his disdainful act and damaging the pristine identity of our land of honor.

He had received three Paris fund amounting to over N40 billion with little to show for it and owing more than 7 months worker salaries yet spreading the continuity agenda among hungry workers.

Is it not ridiculous to shut down establishments that would have help to alleviate poverty and unemployment such as GTBank, Cocacola Depot, Ikogosi Warm Springs.

The National Working Committee NWC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has cancelled the results of last Saturday’s botched gubernatorial primary election in Ekiti state, and has consequently fixed this Friday for the conduct of fresh primaries. The NWC which took the decision after a marathon session between Monday and Tuesday however barred the agents of aspirants who were identified to have disrupted the process from further participating in the primary election in whatever capacity.

“Perhaps, more importantly is that the exercise of Saturday is cancelled and would now be conducted this Friday, 11th May, 2018”, said Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s spokesman at a news conference. According to him, “the existing primary election committee is maintained, except the secretary who will now be substituted”.

The secretary, Hon. Magaji Aliyu who is a member of the House of Representatives had come under intense criticisms by some aspirants who accused him of trying to subvert the process, but Mallam Abdullahi said Mr Aliyu was never indicted for compromising the process but that ” virtually all aspirants complained that the secretary has a close relationship with one of their colleagues and so we decided to drop him in order to guard the integrity of the process and not because he was found to have compromised”. Other members of the committee who would work alongside its chairman, Gov. Umar Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state are; Mr. Duke Oshodin; Barr. Robert Okwuego and Mr. Tunde Balogun.

According to the party, “All Identified unruly agents that participated in the suspended primary election of 5′” May 2018 are disqualified from participating In the rescheduled primary as agents. Accordingly, the following individuals are hereby disqualified from participating as agents or partaking in the rescheduled primary in whatever capacity; Ayodeji Omowaye, Rotimi Faleye, Kayode Afolabi, Oladele Ademola Samuel, Oyetunde Ojo, Akintade Olayisade and Temitope Adewumi. “All agent tags must bear the name of aspirants they represent.

All agents in the rescheduled primary election are hereby barred from coming to the voting arena with their mobile phones”. Other decisions reached by the NWC are: “Security agents from other states will be mobilized to secure the venue and officials in the rescheduled election. One person would be appointed subject to the consensus of all aspirants to assist persons with disability and illiterate voters.

All aspirants must not leave their sitting position unless with the approval of the primary committee “All aspirants would be held vicariously liable for the conduct of their agents. Names of the following aspirants would now be written in the following order as stated below: Ajayi Olatunji Olowo and Olubunmi Kayode. “The NWC condemn the disruptlon of the Primary of 5th May and resolved that all found culpable, directly or indirectly will be punished in accordance with the relevant provisions of the party constitution”.

The words among APC delegates amidst reports of PDP electing Prof. Olusola Eleka as their own Gubernatorial flag bearer is that they have served Asiwaju Segun Oni and Dr. John Kayode Fayemi for too long especially from 2007-2014. They believe that it is better to have an option that is a general election winning candidate with street credibility, fresher ideas, passionate about the welfare of the Ekiti people. Congressman Bimbo Daramola definitely is the man fit enough to take Fayose on; streets to streets, grassroots to grassroots, ballot for ballot, money for money, influences for influences and they want APC back come 14th July, 2018.

He further asked Government agencies, NGOs and prevalent host State Governors to join in the advocacy as well as facilitate a systemic process of registering young SMEs and Entrepreneurs trained in several Vocational skills to enable reduce unemployment issues as the panacea towards eradicating the scourge.

Mr Lewis Evans, First Secretary, Justice and Home Affairs of the DFID, British High Commission, Abuja who was one of the panelist reiterate the fact that International Agencies and Government are interested in fashioning out models of addressing the scourge in collaboration with Nigeria and other African Countries. The lead speaker, His Excellency, Mr Godwin Obaseki represented by Prof. Julius Ihonvbere came out with a master plan of how the Edo State government is tackling the issue from the source by dislodging and arresting the Trafficking cartels, religious organizations, churches, banks, herbalists and the active engagement of the Oba of Benin in invoking and casting off of spells and oaths made by the culprits involved in smuggling young girls out of the country.

The 5,000 capacity hall filled to the brim was shocked by the gory tales of how returnee escape deaths by whiskers on dingy boats overloaded with travelers sank with no low survivor rates and ended up in local prison by the lawless Libya cartels between Agadez and Tripoli.
