oladeebo you are great, I open my cap for your intelligent, but it's a pity people like you will not be made to administered the affair of the nation! This is a sound proposition I've ever read since the noise of this restructure begin. If we have Ward government all our drop out in school and politic and the rest of local people will have their own government to look after their ward affair, sanitation, security, education, family affairs! I think 30% of Nigeria problems if not more were solved. and it will develop the local and discongested the cities |

BabaRamota1980:Baba ramo, Democracy beyond any declaration, you may or not have contrary view to Ibadan summit, that summit is not the people democracy is talking about, and it had happen several time even in Yoruba land, 2015 is one of the contrary view of Yoruba people to their leaders. |

IkpuMmadu:@op why is it necessary to restructure at first? although that's not the question you ask but if you ask me I'll tell you! Democracy is simple if it's understand, it's not by force, it's by bidding, bargaining and learn to earn the trust of others' that is, the people that not only yours but those of the other view of yours! it's just as simple as that. but the fast and surest way is through mandate because mandate change constitution. but Nigerian still in confusion why they should accept the mandate of their opponent. |

Bede2u:are you really know how many workers and political office holders of the LG? And do you know there were many towns and villages that never enjoy either the federal and state social services but only what LG and their community provided. In every local government there: i. LG Chairman ii. Councilors according to how many wards it's have...may be 10! iii. they might be 10-20 Supervisors. iv. There were LG civil servants....may be 50! If all these went jobless what restructure means then. and the nearer government will be far away from the people! restructure of this nature is not a solution to Nigeria problems it will compounded to it! |

How can Nigeria politicians claimed 1963 success as theirs? |

people look at this: When shall we get it right in this country? If the Lecturers, PhD, Professors, Doctorat, SAN, can't create political Ideas suitable for this country, and Lazy enough to study any Idea brought by any body politic and apolitic, elaborate it's definition, advantage, disadvantage and it's economics importance then am seriously worry about this nation, because these scholars and these institutions had handed us to the manipulation of evil machination of politicians and we were vulnerable to political wickedness, We know our politicians for unpatriotic selfish and greedy; Who will check mate them and when this stupidity be stopped? In America if any one come out with any Idea especially those that concern National interests, the scholars and Universities would intervened Analysed, Elaborate, study and and give their conclusion and informed the public on the issue, So the public will know what they were bargaining if it turns to political game! Restructure This restructure that didn't have the exact definition and meaning will lead Nigeria to total destruction and political turmoil; This restructure is an option "B" for those who were behind the separation of this country. Ask any advocate of restructure what he mean by restructuring Nigeria they can't give the real mean and it's economics importance to the poor masses. here are some of their Ideas; i. True federalism! ii. Fiscal federalism! iii. Devolution of power! iii. Regionalism! iv. Resources control! v. State police! vi. Creation of more states! etc. ok. let take it one by one. i. True federalism if every states control every thing it's possessed and contributed certain percentage to the center government; those who have the oil resources today may think they were better off but can those who didn't have resource fold arms? No they will sift to exorbitant Levis or taxes, what they can laid hand on, food stuff, animal,Land etc! but who will pay these? the people, Nigeria nation at large! same thing will happen to; ii. Fiscal federalism! iii. Devolution of power! iv. Resources control! v. State police! vi. Creation of more states! For the regional government it will even worst, it will be total chaos and political turmoil ever experienced in the history of this nation, 1963 crises will be a child play! How can the Norther region managed the political knock horn of Atiku, musa kwankoso, Ganduche, Saraki etc for Norther premier? How can the East manage the political duel of the their politicians...wike, amaechi, Iphezu, okorocha etc for Eastern premier? How can the west manage the blood feud between Obasanjo Fayose, ffk, Asiwaju Tinubu for the western premier? In the mid west what will happen with Yaya Belo, Dino melaye, Osimale etc for Mid western premier? Economics importance: Nigerian had being dealing with High Cost of governance since adoption of democracy, and right now, 70% is consumed by our political administration, Only 30% is meant for capital projects and half of it is still embezzled by these political administrators! How can restructuring of Nigeria bring peace prosperity and harmony for Nigeria Nation? If Donald Trump can sold his manifestos and Ideas for America to earn their mandate to put check to Obama administration 8 years programs why our politicians refuse the universal mandate of the people to sell their idea on restructure to us? Why the political trick? why not the politician follow the due process: i. Obey the constitution! ii. Pass through people's mandate! This thread is open for debate No insult, pls. oladeebo |

wingmanII:pls stop! if you don't know the reason you ask why? Olu falae plays political gamble with Yoruba nation! it sad for a concerned Yoruba like me! Yoruba in Nigeria, has nothing to worry or fear about politics, and no one can never go with out Yoruba nation in Nigeria politics why olu falae and afenifere drag Yoruba glory in mud because of politics? am I the only one who didn't respect Olu falae? why jonathan lost election in Yoruba land with endorsement of olu falae , afenifere and opc? Chief obafemi Awolowo play fairness with igbo and hausa/fulani in his life time concern politic as Political and Yoruba Leader! Why Afenifere selling us to igbo and inciting us against hausa/fulani? because of what interest? Yoruba in Nigeria is like a man with two wives, he must show love to the two, why Afenifere show love to igbo and hate hausa/fulani? All the leaders of Afenifere must retired from politic, and face the protection of Yoruba nation's rights and interests! They must treat hausa/fulani and igbo the same treatment, when it come to politic they must be neutral and leave the politic for politicians! All political parties belong to them! If Awo is alive he will give his full support for Buhari administration! Why Afenifere can't do that? |

Blue3k:man accept defeat it maybe hard to swallow but it's fact. i. The post-war boom in births led to an interest in family planning, and by 1960, the government publicly funded and supported family planning programmes. ii. Singapore’s government might as well have dropped dynamite among the people when it recently addressed its aging workforce and low birth rate. Its solution: increase the population to approximately 6.9 million by 2030. mr man why Singapore a country of less than 6 million people should worry about her population and a proposed biafra nation no need to worry about 40 million people of her population? sorry, I can't help you any longer as you refused to understand! |

The White Paper was heavily criticized and panned by opposition parties and government critics.[30] Member of Parliament Low Thia Khiang of the Workers' Party of Singapore had criticized current measures of increasing the fertility rate, claiming that the high cost of living and lack of family and social support discouraged young couples from having babies. As for current immigration policies, he had noted that immigrants were a source of friction for Singaporeans and that an increased population would put more stress on the already strained urban infrastructure.[31] On February 16, 2013, nearly 3,000 people rallied to protest the White Paper and raise concerns that the increased population would lead to the deterioration of public service and the increase of the cost of living in the future |

Blue3k:Population planning; The post-war boom in births led to an interest in family planning, and by 1960, the government publicly funded and supported family planning programmes. After independence in 1965, the birth rate had fallen to 29.5 per thousand individuals, and the natural growth rate had fallen to 2.5%. Birth rates in the 1960s were still perceived as high by the government; on average, a baby was born every 11 minutes in 1965. Kandang Kerbau Hospital (KKH) — which specialised in women's health and was the most popular hospital to have children — saw over 100 deliveries per day in 1962. In 1966, KKH delivered 39835 babies, earning it a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for "largest number of births in a single maternity facility" for ten years. Because there was generally a massive shortage of beds in that era, mothers with routine deliveries were discharged from hospitals within 24 hours. |

Blue3k:man I think you must started a shame of yourself; But the government’s logic is this: thanks to the demographic-economic paradox, the Singaporean population is beginning to age and decline. Without a growing, reliable workforce, Singapore will not be able to achieve economic growth, which is crucial for creating more jobs and growing wages. Also, an aging population means that there will be less working Singaporeans supporting more dependent citizens. The country’s gross domestic product (one of the highest in the world) could begin to fall, taking the government’s pride with it. Something must be done. |

Blue3k:I hate people telling lie; The country’s usually first-class infrastructure is already overwhelmed with train breakdowns and skyrocketing prices. A survey conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit has identified Singapore as the sixth most expensive city in the world to live in. Overcrowding is also a major concern; Singapore will be required to reclaim even more land to accommodate the projected population. In response, pages like “Say ‘No’ to an overpopulated Singapore” have sprouted up on Facebook to oppose the government’s plans, with arguments occasionally crossing the line towards anti-immigration and xenophobic sentiments. |

Blue3k:asinine; rebuttals pathetic; mental capacity. you need to learn to be civil! when did you give Venice independence? Why population had become a world dilemma on world management? why the existing nation were being facing the challenges of urbanization? why all these population reform programs world wide? Biafra proposed nation: 1Km2 = 1000m2 1000/400m2 = 2.5m2 means if biafra country is granted today, every biafran is entitle to 2.5m2 of piece of land, not up-to one room. what a nation? How can a new born nation manage this? people need to be reason like human being! in 5/10 years to come what will become biafra land? Three things matter most in life; i. Knowledge ii. Traveling iii. Age |
