sarrki:Thank God that Sarki of all people has finally accepted wat some few ve always said... |
free2ryhme:Oops, u re a bad guy to ve mentioned this, ur mention of it made me remember he actually had a case like this, and it dragged on for a long time.,then with Wat u said about his troubles with the Binite family, u finally confirmed that u indeed knew/stayed close to the Abami. Eda himself. Thanks for the memories... |
NwaAmaikpe:NwaAmaikpe, u seem to know so much about these celebrities, how come or do u ve a tab on them all? |
Awo surely came before his time, I know he would be turning in his grave whenever he sees our polluted political scape and Wat has become of a country that once had a very beautiful prospect ...It's painful Nigeria couldn't tap from his fountain of knowledge, we lost it and this is y we keep moving in a circle. This was a man that was dying to lead the country because he knew Wat it took to lead a country like ours bt the northern oligarchs frustrated him using their foot soldier in the person of Matthew Obasanjo and instead opted for a Shaghari who as a TC 2 certificate holder was contended with going to the Senate, they successfully foisted him on Nigerians and like they say the rest became history. This was a man who introduced 'free education " and without which a lot of the elderly educated ones and professors wouldn't ve been. His model of governance was a model to other regions then. Nobody in the history of democracy in Nigeria has had the dying ambition of being president and actually did perhaps with just the exception of Buhari, the others had always been unwilling bt who were forced down the throats of Nigerians all the same. As far as politics is concerned, nobody comes close to AWO in having so much grip and impact on the people he represented, wat now ve re " Asiwajus and awoist" wannabes who don't really care bt pretend to when in actual sense that re proponents of "jeun soke and lootocracy ". Regionalism is just the way out of this logjam and confusion, let each region move at her pace and this would create room for competition ,healthy rivalry and a model to other regions that re not getting it done the right way. |
conductor101:Oh my God, u re wicked ,from which planet thou cometh? |
seunny4lif:I know Germany has always been pro-Russia bt wat surprises me is how the economic powerhouse of Europe could allow herself be dictated to by an Uncle Sam that is so many miles away ,I just hope they re able to sustain the present tempo of trying to reassert themselves.. The most annoying thing is that these sanctions ve little or no impact on Uncle Sam the way they do the EU, Uncle Sam shouldn't be allowed to have her way at all time because this is a reason they feel they re the world police and decide who gets what nd whatnot..A multi-leadership world is safer than a unilateral one.. |
kn23h:My G, u re more mature than this na,hope u know that ur statement that u could term harmless might snowball into an e-war as usual between the two main culprits, pls try nd be more considerate next time,we don't need unnecessary divisions within us, kk.. |
kn23h:Wao I never heard abt all that u listed prior to now that u just did, enlightenment is key, kudos to him all the same he comes across as a simple guy despite the throne and I was just trying to say I hope people don't take him for granted esp wen u take into cognisance the way humans behave... All the same thanks for ur mature clarification unlike some folks that would ve gone into fits of tantrums.. |
Efewestern:@ Efewestern thanks a million for shedding light on this grey area... |
Efewestern:@ Efewestern thanks a million... |
Efewestern:Nd re they much there to warrant being classified as an extension of the Urhobo nation? Thanks for the clarification of my first question anyways... |
kn23h:Bt u know his movements re demystifying the throne gradually and u might not want to accept this, the Ooni should be the most senior traditional ruler in the whole of yorubaland save the Alafin who I don't know much about seniority wise. How many times ve we seen the Sultan, the Benin monarch, and the Obi of Onitsha all over the place? It could be that because he is younger than the aforementioned and the exuberance thereof is expected. |
kn23h:Bros how do u mean? I am a humble personality though except u don't want to hear the truth .. |
The visit ought to ve been the other way, the way he is gallivanting all over the place trying to unite the Yorubas is good bt he is gradually demystifying the awe and respect the the throne commands.. U hardly see the Oba of Benin all over the place, anyone that has anything important that requires the Oba's input goes to the palace to see him, a tenet of the 48 laws of power which is the mire u make urself scarce the more the respect that will be accorded u.. "Eye wey dey waka na im dey see rubbish, so if eye nor wan see nonsense e go siddon house... What is the use of these traditional rulers sef? other than milking us of already scarce resources, they re like prisoners in their palaces bcoz they can't mingle, club and do other things an ordinary man on the street would do without drawing the ire and criticism of the subjects. |
fratermathy:@Fratermathy, ur list is incomplete, how abt Agbarho, Orerokpe, Udu ,Edjeba, Ekpan and Kiagbodo ?These areas re also densely populated by the Urhobo nation too. I believe that if not for the unwritten agreement among the political gladiators in Delta State, only the Urhobo nation can go the whole hog of deciding who becomes the governor. I know they can also be found in Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, and Plateau states as migrants. Heard there re still indigenous Urhobos in Bayelsa, can anyone with an idea confirm this? Fratgermathy, Efewestern, Sanchez over to u guys.. |
Kikiki, Buharinomics isn't working, @Sarki pls retrace ur step now before it's too late, u re a lone voice in this tedious campaign, ur co-travellers ve since deserted u and the man is not even making ur job easy either, the more u defend him the more he fumbles. His ideologies ain't working in a multifaceted country like ours, it has never worked and I am not surprised because he is always on a high horse... These were the same refineries the government said they won't sell, so what has gone wrong suddenly? Bunch of confused leaders at the helms of affairs making us as a country take one step forward nd ten steps backwards.... |
The EU is beginning to grow some balls, the way they expressly carried out Uncle Sam's bidding in the past when it was even clear it would hurt them more than the US still baffles me. Could it be that the US spy agencies ve somethings on the EU leaders which has made them to be compromised so easily... |
@op, which Delta re u referring to? Wonders shall never cease for ur information, OKOWA is the most clueless amongst the present governors, on national issues he won't contribute a thing wen in the midst of other state governors and he is offering nothing project wise ,he has no business being a governor... Nor be only street credibility? It should be better he does a remix with Tuface and 9ce,op doesn't even know how to be a spin doctor... . |
attackgat:So sad bt true, the earlier Nigerians know and accept this fact the better it would be for the other parts being subdued by the hegemonic north, an oppressor will never allow the oppressed go away peacefully unless there is a fight, and this is just the sad reality |
hoseamatoh:Haha, u nor well, see as u just pieces the guy.. |
Story story, the police can't be trusted In matters like this because they re always blowing hot nd cold, rhe casualties might even be the other way round .. |
bbbabes:Mademoiselle heavy duty, nothing like hypocrite here, it's simply because lesbianism is also a crime according to the laws of our land, wat is good for the goose is also good for the gander nd in this case they re both guilty of sexual misconduct.,so no room for sentiments at all if the law must chart its course ... |
Northern youths re fast losing it and never for the life of them thought a time like this would come when their hegemonic tendencies would be challenged ..This is playing out before their very eyes hence the uneasiness, that era of issuing threats is gone ND most components of this forced marriage re tired of this contraption and they want out of the Cesspit called Nigeria where all animals re equal bt some re more equal, a country that thrives on mediocrity, one that sees it as a duty to always elevate people from a particular part of the country above the law and above others whether they re qualified for the post or not ,it has been like this for quite sometime and it's understandable y they re agitated all of a sudden ,So wat happened to the threat they issued to the Ibos to leave the North before October 1st, no arrest was made nd in our usual characteristic nd lackadaisical manner something as grave as that was swept under the carpet.. The clueless government gave Kanu all the publicity when they could ve just ignored him, he is stronger nd more daring now, all thanks to his incaceration by this government ,so let them deal with the smell emanating from the pollution that they caused.. Now if the roles were reversed, I know so many arrest would ve been made already by overzealous security personnel even without any prodding from. those in authority... We all remember Wat happened in Ife where a host became a prisoner ,very funny and also the useless manoeuvres Kwakwanso does whenever his marauding Fulani tribesmen re being dealt with, this people just believe that Nigeria is their personal estate/fiefdom where they commit all sorts of atrocities nd get just a slap on the wrist.... |
udemzyudex:TRUE.. |
sarrki:Y do u seem to be so interested in the affairs of the PDP these days or is there sth that i am not getting yet? |
Efezik007:Bros abeg forget UPU,them don baff? Was it not the same UPU Ibori took to the cleaners during his time? They re not organized and don't speak with a single voice, there r dissenters who can always be bought in their midst... |
yarimo:Good evening, how u dey? |
burakado17:Which leaders? the ones who don't know their left from their right ,they re just too devious to care about the Masses when they ve their concubines and harem of ladies to tend to.... The head is rotten and that is y all nd sundry get away with all their atrocious acts... |

.
Yarimo,u don come again today abi? I
go wound u oh.. |
francisbiz:Haha, one at a time and though despite their shortcomings they still standout as the only one ready for business as the others re just there particularly our own local telco that should be going bing MTN a run for her money PHCN is a behemoth of corruption and it will need a dedicated leader to cleanse it's Aegean stable nd there seems to be no solutions at hand thereby making the masses to be at their mercy. They extort the masses at will at the end of every month with estimated bills for darkness. If the government is serious then they should make it mandatory for PHCN to supply every household a pre-paid meter and see if they would not sit up.. .. |
dodelight:The guy is irredeemably clueless nd so pro Buhari despite the latter's handiwork that has grounded the country on all fronts, the excuse being given for the guy is just rubbish because during his first coming as a military president for those of us who were not born then or so young to grasp properly wat happened, we heard it was the same fiasco, y must it always be him or he is always coming at the wrong time, I don't think the latter is responsible, he is just too rigid nd old school to take advice or corrections, he feels every other person is dispensable and he is indispensable. It took him six months to select his angelic Technocrats who turned out to be the same old, corrupt and recycled hands, and it was from that moment the wise knew where this government was headed... |
yummydrae:Very lame and stale excuse, this administration is just clueless and is all shades of incompetence.. |
