obajoey:Very nice question, after the whole show then what comes next? If only men would reason in this manner they wouldn't go crazy about some ladies that ain't worth breaking sweat over ... |
I am not in the least surprised because this is uncle Sam's trademark, destabilizing countries from time immemorial, South American,African, Asian, Central American,European or even North American countries are not spared ,all in a bid to control the country's natural resources or rein in any country's leadership so that it becomes subservient to Washington. And when a leader refuses to dance to their tunes he becomes marked and he is eventually overthrown via a coup or he would a tagged a terrorist,or better still thru a "color revolution". Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi come to mind easily...... We can all remember their eavesdropping scandal on major world leaders probably to compromise or find some "dirts "on them, then u ask yourself to what intent would this serve the U. S? Their hypocrisy is simply nauseating.... |
And who asked u a thing Mr Dalung? Go and face ur dying sports ministry that has no hope of resuscitation anytime soon because u re a square peg in a round hole and incompetence personified.. It would ve been better u were not appointed at all because ur tenure would go down as the worst in the annals of sports in this country. |
Junk journalism, they said he was arrested at the MM international airport when he was trying to exit the country, hmm. |
NwaAmaikpe:Ur case gets worse with every new dawn. |
"IT IS THE REASON EUROPE IS SO RICH TODAY. They exploited those colonies ruthlessly for nearly a century, taking and taking and taking, and putting nothing back. At independence in 1960, Nigeria had not ONE university. Not ONE major power plant. Not ONE expressway. Not ONE major hospital. Not ONE stadium" The first university in Nigeria was built in 1948 and it is the University Of Ibadan. U said sth abt the South Africans turning out this way not because of the whites who came to settle down with them, I want u to take a look at Hong Kong and China :- the former was administered by the British for 100 years and was returned to the latter in 1997.When one takes a look at the two countries,at least we know that China and Hong Kong aren't on the same footing if we re to tell ourselves some hard truths, the latter trumps the former in almost every area of developmental index so much that it's even one of the world's financial centers..... |
U wouldn't ve needed to say this if he was still in charge. It's just common sense.... |
[quote author=felixomor post=57431838]Wow. Great. Good people. Great Nation **Modified** With good hearts but useless, wicked and heartless leaders. Bt wait oh, who is going to disburse the fund, I hope the police leadership and the man's extended family won't be involved? |
KARMA is a bitch indeed, it's always easier to say loads of craps when u re on the sidelines bt when u re on the driver's seat, it becomes a totally different ball game.. Fashola is frustrated, and the DISCOS re nowhere close to improvement, rather they re getting worse This was a man who said fixing electricity problem in the country wasn't rocket science. I guess he knows better now that it's rocket science combined with nuclear .I just wish SERAP can be steadfast with this battle nd not relent one bit.... |
Junk journalism, the headline was captioned in such a way that u think u would see the reasons if u go thru the story bt alas the opposite is the case with no reasons given for collecting the ransoms in dollars ... |
He has started singing like a canary bird,to other kidnappers and intending ones, the lesson learnt is : "don't do the crime if u can't do the time".. |
Does it mean that the police don't ve a fund for stuffs like this? And how about the management of Zenith bank? Abegi, this country is a huge joke and with these kinds of stories flying around, how can one be willing to give his all. I can wager with anyone that has family will soon be evicted if they stay in the barracks, or they might even ve been evicted as I type ... |
Dopemu, agege... |
hammerF:My guy, re u angered with wat is happening in Libya? The west destroyed that country, such a peaceful country with so much prospects that it was one of the best in Africa. All of a sudden, the west came along with their "democracy " ,and I guess they(libyans) saw the "light" and they know better now.. The west can only bring sorrow, tears and blood in the aftermath of an invasion .. |
1bkaye:Jrr Methinks they re only trying to deflect attention from the bigger culprit that they re ...... |
onatisi:Methinks the guy might not ve such a huge amount as liquid cash even his father too might ve not ve such bt if u include the assets then it's a yes for the father and not Davido himself... |
Enuguboy4nsk:That guy was right... |
monex:How? Pls explain especially the non-religious Catholic priest part, thanks... |
uyiekpenn:Wow, u re a good child, the type every parent wants to have, it's surprising because u re not a female child who re well known for taking care of their parents when they become old... |
Built2last:One of the most sensible comments that I ve seen on nairaland in a while.. |
OZAOEKPE:@Ozaoekpe, I am really disappointed that u could make such an embarrassing statement,if at least the money doesn't belong to the guy it surely belongs to Nigerians.. Ur statement is y every public office holder goes into office to steal the country dry and loot massively because at the end of the day they just come up with the saying :"the money doesn't belong to anyone so y can't I help myself to some" Imagine If this guy had done his bit as a minister of health and his successors did same then health-infrastructure-wise we wouldn't be where we re presently as a nation.. |
I am not a fan of Messi bt truth has to be told and it is: "Messi is a more talented player than Ronaldo because he makes football so easy that u think he is from a different planet, and moreover Ronaldo saw Messi as a rival and had to work extra-hard to arrive and be on the same level with him. I don't think Messi works as hard as Ronaldo to achieve all he does because it's innate.. And Messi appears to slowing be down while Ronaldo is now firing on all cylinders and with no signs of slowing down soon. |
DaudaAbu:Oga, say wat u know, re u Yoruba? If u re then I would want u to explain what the name Dada means since u claim that nobody is born with dreadlocks!! |
[quote author=seunny4lif post=57105742]Leads what?
How to remove another country leader? Lol at "lead in how to remove another country's leader? |
nigeriankenyan:Re u for real or re u referring to a Kenya different from the one everyone knows? My friend, Kenya is also neck-deep in corruption and not the 0% that u stated... If in doubt, I would want u to do ur findings...Thanks. |
vedaxcool:I hope and pray that hatred, bias don't kill u someday, two years after and u still singing the same jagged tune, is the 'IB' still on seat ?What happened to the purveyors of change and y is government a continuum? The citizens felt the need to change the government then and they did, only for them to realize albeit late that they were shortchanged by the present government. If every government were to continue blaming previous governments instead of getting down to the business of why it was voted ,then we will definitely not get anywhere because it would mean we re only moving in circles.. |
Zoharariel:. .@zoharariel, this is wat annoys anybody who is in the know of how dubious the U. S re, |
One of the very few northern politicians who re pro Nigeria and who say things the way they re without minding whose ox is gored... His pronouncement s finally sounding the death knell of Bubu's presidency... |
Abeg park well, wat was achieved with the the humongous amount collected so far ...If passed without or with it won't still make any difference. Take a look at Bayelsa state that is oil producing with revenues running into billions of naira every month(...)sorry is still the case as usual with civil servants still being owed their entitlements... |
This egotistic and clannish dwarf should please shut the hell up.... |
TonyeBarcanista:Wallahi, u sabi these people too well. |
Governance is now a comedy where lots of ne'er do wells now congregate for a common interest..... There indeed was a country... |
