Good riddance to bad rubbish, after almost making the post his permanent abode. It's like he was going to be there forever. When someone holds on too tenaciously to a particular position for so long, then he is bound to lose steam and ideas because we keep evolving new ideas day in day out bt this man wasn't still ready to give way for the younger generation and hence the need to boot him out... |
Adebowale89:Kk, if u say so bt I want to see how this whole drama of muscle flexing ends. I feel this man knows that the "sinators" re a bunch of toothless bulldogs who can't bite... |

Austinmiles:Nope, it's not like the president doesn't have the power to sack the CBN governor bt if he does,he will be sending a very wrong signal to the international community /prospective investors... And on the issue of Sanusi being relieved,he was three months to retirement and so he was placed on leave compulsorily which ensured that he didn't get back on the seat because his tenure had expired by the time his leave ended. Re u thinking that Buhari wouldn't want to relieve Emefiele of his position? He s simply not doing so because of the reasons that I ve stated above... |
Adebowale89:How abt the minister of defence and can he be compelled to wear one too? These re political appointments na, I am glad u said there re competent customs officer That can head this agency bt his is an appointment.. Moreover this shouldn't be an issue at all, it's more of an ego clash between the two sides and with no side ready to back down.. The guts exhibited by Hammeed Ali show the way the ex military officers esp of northern extraction see/look at the country and populace. They feel unanswerable to anyone and re like a law unto themselves... |
HIGHESTPOPORI:What re u saying? An Inspector General of police is a career police officer while Mr. Ali is an ex military and not a career customs officer.. If he were a custom officer he wouldn't portray this guts... |
blackpanda:Thanks for ur quote..I know this man is a political appointee and ex military, and so I am wondering if actually the Senators re right on this because he is not really a career customs officer which could warrant ordering him to put on the customs uniform. I also read somewhere that as an ex/serving military officer(...)that there is actually a military law that prevents him from putting on any other way uniform other than that of the military.. Would u mind explaining more the Customs act that u mentioned?? Thanks.... |
spartan117:And the question of how much he had recovered so far should ve been first on the list. He foolishly played into their hands, the stakes against his confirmation were just too high.. So does it now mean that any conviction of any suspect that he eventually gets in his acting capacity will be ultra vire and thus null and void..? |
I don't know much abt this guy other than causing a civil war in his native country and encouraging the extermination of a particular tribe. He was finally hauled before the World Court In Hague where he eventually lost his life in detention. This aside, I don't see him as any hero and if u think otherwise, kindly state ur reasons.... |

What is this ??Armageddon is at hand if just one seizure can produce this much quantity of weaponry... |
Useless set of handout selling and skirt chasing mofos, they act like tin gods wen within higher institutions and wen without they re very calm, cool and responsible... Most of their ignoble acts forced down the throats of students wouldn't be cordoned if they were at the receiving end. A very good example is the series of strikes they embark on year in and out for the most flimsy reasons and would still want the government to pay them even wen they didn't offer any services in the period under review, forgetting the "no work ,no pay " policy of the government... They re just too full of themselves,a highly narcissistic group of people... |
The police were quick to fish out the killers simply because Fulani cattle rearers were at the receiving end this time around, were it to be the other way round as it were the police would still be keeping mute while occasionally dishing our their " we re on top of the situation rhetorics". Nigerians should learn to stand up to these bunch of marauders and savages because the more we try to avoid confrontation, the more emboldened and harder they come... |
Sycophancy at its peak, useless bunch of mofos who put Nigeria in the current sorry situation wen it ought to be far from this pitiable condition because she has wat it takes.. |
Zoharariel:How and would u mind explaining? |
Dedetwo:Do other transport companies ply different roads from Peace Mass Transit? Yes we know the roads re bad bt laying the blame squarely on bad roads is a misnomer because this very transport company gets involved in an accident virtually every other month.. So Mr.Man,this ur excuse for them is lame and therefore holds no water... |
slimzypink:Do u personally know this lady ?If u don't then it will do u some good not to jump into conclusion just like that or were u always with the duo to know wat actually went down. . |
slimzypink:Do u personally know this lady ? |
Blue3k:That would ve meant suicide given the number of investments they ve n Nigeria, MTN et al...It would also ve resulted in a severe backlash if he did... To a very large extent, Nigerians re indispensable in any country they find themselves inclusive of America,it is just that a few bad eggs re spoiling the good ones.. Do u know the crisis that would occur in America's health sector if Nigerian Doctors in that sector should down tools.. Bad leadership is our bane in our country,if not we would be a force to reckon with within and without Africa... |
tobiasbeecher:I can remember this very incident happened during OBJ's stint as president in 2002 or so,and almost 15 years later the case is still dragging on.."Justice delayed is justice denied "is a popular saying ,I just hope the culprits re made to kiss the dust finally to serve as a deterrent to other trigger-happy cops who re always too glad nd willing to send innocent citizens to the great beyond.. Ol boy this ur moniker "Tobiasbeecher" reminds of the character with the same name in the series movie OZ,he was a very funny and crazy personality, I guess that was where u brought ur moniker from too. |
Dead on arrival because he is a bigot... |
martineverest:Really? Did u read and digest the message at all? Or u deliberately left out the part where it was stated that it was the Hausa guy who first gave the Ibo guy's name to his own dog,an act which the Ibo guy then kindly reciprocated after all entreaties to the Hausa guy failed. It's very wrong to jump into conclusions without understanding how sth started because wen u relay this message to another person, u will surely do so based on ur own misinformation and u re surely gonna do that with all confidence and before u know it ur misrepresentation becomes the official and accepted story.... |
Nonsensical write-up, which Okowa is Ossai talking abt? Is it the same Okowa that we all know is bereft of ideas on governance, with every succeeding governor being worse off than his predecessor wen it's supposed to be the other way. Well I understand that he who pays the piper dictates the tune and this where he gets his daily "garri " |
PapaBrowne:Nothing of such in Delta state..Agberos and thugs re the ones deciding and running the "shows" despite the preponderance of intellectuals and academics. It is really saddening. While I may want to agree that a sound education doesn't guarantee quality leadership, just in the case of Delta state too where the incumbent and immediate past governor re both medical practitioners who at least re supposed to know the importance of a good and sound Health care system being that this is their primary constituency. Bt nope, they neglect all and sundry totally.. And at the end of their tenure there is not one single thing to point to as their achievements. So it's really pathetic.... Lagos state is blessed with Tinubu being the pathfinder and laying a solid foundation which has made it possible for a succeeding government to be better than its predecessor... Though Tinubu has his Achilles heel just like the average Nigerian politician bt by nd large he means well for his state. |
Lucasbalo:I am yet to understand y this guy is still refusing to see things the way majority of people do. Anything that Trump does is OK by him despite some of his flip-flop policies lately..I can't bt pity a negroid trying so hard to build a cult personality for TRUMP.... He doesn't even Know someone like him exists.. |
PapaBrowne:Methinks Fashola is the main clog in this very wheel as regards Lagos because he doesn't want to be outshone.... And it's all politics, remember wen Ambode just came in, he exhumed some documents detailing corrupt practices that took place at the behest of Fashola when he held sway..... Bt jokes apart,Ambode is making the other governors look like learners, he is the most active and talked about too... The governors in Nigeria re Ambode and the rest esp the so called Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state, he is such a sorry excuse as a governor, nothing to show that he is in charge. All these while that he was jostling to be governor, he only wanted to come and loot his own share of the national cake because it's just too obvious that he is so bereft of ideas which can make Alao Akala green with envy... Delta state has been so unlucky with governors with the exception of Ibori who despite the looting was still able to put infrastructures on ground.... |

Adiola:Glad to know that someone can also see thru the lies churned out in this very write-up just the way i did, particularly wen the person is of the same tribe as the op who posted that crap in the first place makes it all the more commendable... |
ImperialYoruba:Really,so the yorubas re covering up for Jona so that he doesn't go to jail?Hmmm, then the yorubas must be so so powerful.. A people that ve not been able to lift the yoke of subserviency to the north all of a sudden re protecting someone from a tribe that can shut down the country's main source of revenue from arrest..... U re nothing bt a clown... Look for another lie or gist to spin and ur ilk will buy into it because myself and some other persons won't buy into these lies of urs..... |
WeNoGoDie:The father of the so called lady has already punctured the first point ,he said and I quote :"there was no such thing as an introduction that took place in my compound at the behest of my daughter, she is just like her mother". |
ayamAgenius:Christianity and Christians re very liberal and easy going although there re minute sects within Christendom that tend towards extremism . Bt on the average it is more peaceful relatively... On the other hand uf it was Mohammed that was spoken about in such a manner,i am sure his head would ve since been on a spike. Just because God is slow to anger, a lot of folks tend to abuse this quality of his... .Just my opinion though.... |
