Nigerian Governnent has formally informed the governments of the United States, US, United Kingdom, UK, and other foreign countries of its decision to declare the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as a terrorist organisation.

An Abuja Federal High Court in Abuja had, on August 20, proscribed IPOB, following a motion filed by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN).

The court had also ordered that the proscription be published in the Federal Government’s gazette which was done.

Against this backdrop, both the US and UK had faulted the declaration, insisting that the group was not a terrorist organisation.

Speaking with Punch, on Wednesday, Malami said some foreign countries have been duly notified.

Malami disclosed that the Federal Government would be seeking a Mutual Legal Assistance from the foreign governments to stop those funding the group and deal with IPOB members as terrorists.


The report said Federal Ministry of Justice, through its Central Authority Unit, had sent separate letters to all the foreign missions operating in Nigeria.

According to Malami, “Just think of any embassy you know is operating in Nigeria, they have all been served.

“All we did was to send copies of the gazettes attached to the cover letters to notify them of the status of IPOB as far as Nigeria is concerned.

“Although the proscription widely reported in newspapers, has been published in the Federal Government’s gazette and advertised in newspapers as ordered by the court, we had to formalise it by notifying our foreign friends, I mean the foreign governments, which have embassies in Nigeria; and that was exactly what we did by sending copies of the gazette to them.”

Can you imagine such a statement? This is a slap on the igbo people and when these guys defend themselves in the best way possible, they say the igbos are he aggressors? Is this not a derogatory statement for goodness sake? Should this not qualify as an hate speech?

Children were gift of nature, we mustn't play non-sense with their lives, the information flying around these todays were very sad, why intoxicated the innocent children? what concern the children with the adult madness?
some terrified children may not return to school, Some may be psychologically disturbed, why all this non-sense? Children is sensitive to their environment, Children naturally detest Doctors, it's the parent that will calm him or her down, that the doctor didn't meant bad for him or her, but if mother jump the fence and taken the children from being attended by doctors, how can such a children accept of been attended by any doctors even in case of necessity?
Igbo mustn't torment the children.

Go to Military Hospital at Obalende road in Lagos, Go to Military hospital at Ikoyi and also visit Nigerian Navy Hospitals both in Ikeja and Warri. Then you will know Nnamdi Kanu has done more harms to you than good.
All these are opened to both Military and civilians patients.

Rumours spread like wildfire and it's sole aim is to cause undue panic, yesterday was a typical example. A simple vaccination program meant to immunize children against the dreaded monkey pox disease twisted into a death arena where pupils are forcefully injected with the disease. What is even more appaling is the fact that the so called educated fellas swallowed the fabrication pill like it were a simple paracetamol pill without first confirming the veracity of a story which ordinarily appears illogical to the sound mind and even assisted in fueling the rumour. Even the monkey pox has not killed anyone but the injected version killed two pupils on the spot and they believed.
