8. The day shall differentiate between the Broad Way Christians and the Narrow Way Christians. Matt 7:13-14

 

9. The day shall separate sincerity from hypocrisy. Gal 5:21

 

10. The day shall differentiate between those who harbour secret sins from those who abhor secret sins. Gal 5:20-21

 

11. The day shall separate those whose lives are hidden in Christ from those who are hiding in the church. Luke 13:27

 

12. The day shall show a glaring, clear, conspicuous, demarcation between Christians who walk on the path of holiness from those who walk on the path of worldliness. Heb 12:14

 

13. It shall be a day of double emotion: joy for some and unimaginable, indescribable, uncontrollable regrets for others. Luke 13:28

 

14. It shall be a day of surprises- some “Big names” may miss the flight while some “Less known” may be on board. 1 Cor 1:27

 

15. Another surprise may be that a man or woman who had faithfully served the Lord for many years may defile his or her garment a few minutes before the sound of that summoning trumpet and miss the flight while a notorious sinner may surrender his or her life to Jesus within the same time frame and go to heaven. Ezekiel 3:20

 

 16. This event may happen now, today, this week, this month, this year or next year! Matt 24:36

 

17. Wise Christians, like the five virgins that took extra oil, are expected to get ready, yes, to get prepared. Matt 25:1-13

 

 18. After the event, all those who are bitter against one another, malicious, unforgiving, jealous, arrogant, haters, hypocrites, drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, adulteresses, murderers with weapons and murderers with tongue etc, shall have enough time to continue in their trade. Heb 12:14-15.

 

 19. When the event is over there shall be revival among those who have chosen to stay behind not because there will be a second chance, no, but because the reality of the event would have struck them like a thunderbolt. But they will have to pay with their own blood. 2 Tim 4:3

 

20. When the event is over, those who are left behind shall no longer be safe to worship in their gigantic, fanciful and multi-billion Dollars/Naira cathedrals. Instead they shall seek safety in caves, bushes and abandoned and dilapidated but hidden structures. Rev 6:15-17

 

21. When this great event is over, each time those who will miss their flight manage to gather for worship, they will pay attention to only one sermon- whether they gather in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North or South America; the sermon will only centre on “How to Meet the Divine Standard and Join the Other Saints”. Rev 14:6-7

 

22. It is also worthy to note that those who will be left behind will never have any business with comedians at their altars anymore. No! There shall no longer be gatherings for entertainments. Whenever, they manage to gather, it shall always be for serious religious business only. Luke 21:34

 

23. The prayer pattern of those who will be left behind will also undergo a radical change. They will not be praying for things anymore. They will only be praying for strength to withstand the tortures of the Anti-Christ and die bravely to join the other saints. None will be praying for jobs, marriages, etc. Rev 8:3-4

 

24. It is equally worthy of note that some of those who will miss their flight will not be able to endure the torture of the Anti Christ. They will receive the mark of the beast and thereby be doomed forever. Rev 14:9-11

 

25. When the ready saints are gone, all our denominational walls of partition will collapse. The man or woman who use to worship in Omega Fire, Jesus Chapel, Exousia Kingdom Gospel Centre, Deeper Life, for instance, will hide in the same place with those who worship in Christ Embassy, Church of God Mission, Assemblies of God, Word Aflame, Action Chapel, Winners Chapel, Lighthouse Chapel etc and nobody will remember to claim superiority anymore because  then they will be facing a common enemy. Eph 4:1-6

 

26. When this event is over, each time believers who will miss their flight manage to gather anywhere for worship, there will be an atmosphere of sobriety. This rowdiness we witness today shall be no more. 1 Peter 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8

 

27. There shall also be a radical change in the attitude of those who will miss their flight towards Bible study. What we have now is an attitude characterized by a high degree of nonchalance and indifference, but when the ready saints are gone, those who will be left behind will begin to take their bible study seriously. 2 Tim 2:15

 

28. All the teens and youths who come to church to please their parents will repent after this great event; yes, they will begin to seek God for themselves.

Rev 19:5, Rev 20:12.

 

 29. When the event is over, all those who will do any form of business in the schools, hospitals, banks, etc, will have to bear the mark of beast (666) or be hunted down and killed like common criminals. Rev 13:17

30. One of the gains of this reminder is that there may be someone reading this piece today who will take a firm decision to ensure that he/she gets on board that celestial flight travelling to glory.

Rev 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29, 3:6, 3:13, 3:22.

 

 31. However, one of the greatest tragedies of this reminder is that there may be someone too who is reading this piece today but who will see no need to heed this warning. A tragedy indeed! Rev 22:11-12

There are no coincidences in life. This life operates on laws. No one becomes anything by default. I have heard some people say that, I just stumbled on wealth and I really didn't do anything. It seems luck is on my side. From my knowledge of the spiritual, nothing just happens. I read an article by one of the richest men in Nigeria who said, he can't really say exactly what he did to be rich. He said he was lucky kind of. He mentioned something like fate and destiny. Something that makes it look like God has chosen some to be rich and some to just be there. But I know it's not total truth.

This is what I know. Most times, people reap from the good their fore fathers have poured on the face of the earth. How was Isaac blessed? Because of Abraham. Same with Jacob and that whole nation reaped from the good of Abraham. What about Timothy? Paul mentioned how that Timothy's grandma was a devoted believer. No wonder Timothy became a great man himself.

There are some people who are behaving so terribly today and somehow things are still working for them. Some of them even wonder why they have been so spared. After I did my findings, I found out that most of these guys have parents who in their life time had given themselves to the Lord's service. For that, they have brought unusual mercy and favour to their lineage. You may not believe this but I know what I am saying.

What did God say to Solomon, because of your father David, I will spare the kingdom. There is a quote by a famous writer that says, the good or evil that men do, go after them. Just like David when he came to power, he began to look for one that he might show kindness to from the lineage of Jonathan. You sure know who Jonathan is to David. If men can be this faithful, how much more God.

Do you know that the bible says, For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister- Heb 6:10.
Sometimes, your grand father at one point helped the early missionaries, clothed, fed them and helped them. That is a sowing unto the kingdom which God will never forget and must pay back into the family. People have done things that have brought great blessings to their families.

There is a man in this country who many think he should have been deadly judged in this country. In fact, the man had gone through several challenges and yet came out shinning. He eventually became one of our democratic presidents in this country. A lot of people look at the man and say, he has a strong head (ori e le). What I see is not a strong head. I heard a story of how this man's parents used to be very devoted to the work of God in their village then. The parents had sown good seeds into the kingdom which God must repay.

A governor in this country will boast, my name is Peter. My parents served the Lord. I am reaping from their blessings. There is a proverb in Yoruba that says, a to ri n kan sekan l'Olorun (that is: God does a thing for a reason). You can't argue with that. Even in the new testament, we are blessed because of Christ. Do you remember how God would tell Israel, don't touch that nation, it belonged to so and so. This so and so had a tie with Abraham. So let them be.

Can I advise you? If you notice a trend of poverty in your lineage, it speaks volume. It shows the generation before you had not done pretty well. But you can start to change the story. Partner with God. Invest heavily into his Kingdom. Help his anointed. What you are doing is this: you are helping yourself and your generations to come.

17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Pls observe vs 19... it says, laying up or storing up a good foundation.... You are keeping your children ahead by partnering with God.

UTME Registration: Cyber Café Owners Want Senate To Investigate New JAMB Policy
In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, AESCCO described the policy, announced by JAMB on its website, as constituting discrimination against cyber cafés run by small and medium scale owners in favour of JAMB-accredited CBT centres owned by big-time businessmen.

The Association of Educational Services and Cyber Café Operators (AESCCO) has written to the Senate in protest of the recent restriction of applicants' registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to only Computer Based Test (CBT) centres approved by the board.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, AESCCO described the policy, announced by JAMB on its website, as constituting discrimination against cyber cafés run by small and medium scale owners in favour of JAMB-accredited CBT centres owned by big-time businessmen. Dated 6 March and signed Mr. Femi Aborisade, lawyer to AESCCO, the letter stated that though the association agrees with the policy’s underlying principle of establishing standards for UTME venues, it disagrees with JAMB 's desire to commodify the process by handing a huge advantage to wealthy owners of JAMB-accredited CBT centres. The association said its disagreement with the new policy stems from its exclusionary nature.
“UTME applicants should be allowed to register for the examination from their individual computer units and/or those owned by their parents and guardians rather than be compelled to patronize CBT centres. Where some individual applicants do not have their own computer units, such applicants should be allowed to exercise the freedom to patronize either a CBT centre or the cyber cafés,” said AESCCO.
The group explained that this will ensure that everybody involved in the process, regardless of economic status, is treated equally.
While conceding that small scale cyber café owners may be involved in examination-related fraud, AESCCO argued that owners of big CBT centres are not exactly free of such dubious tendencies.
“In other words, the tendency to compromise systems exists in all areas of businesses, regardless of scale and status of their proprietors. The challenge for JAMB is to establish strong control and security safeguards to monitor, identify and punish all fraudulent acts, wherever established, whether by a CBT centre or a cyber café,” it contended.
AESCCO further argued that aside from being discriminatory, the exclusion of cyber cafés, which were initially accredited by JAMB in preference to CBT centres, is unconstitutional.
AESCCO observed that if the new policy excluding its members from the registration process is implemented, it will lead to chaos in the system. According to the association, the jump in the number of UTME applicants to over one million (as at 2015, according to JAMB figures) will place an enormous strain on the CBT centres except the cyber cafés are there to take away some of the pressure. It wondered why JAMB is seeking to be different from other local and international institutions, which conduct registration online .
“If institutions of learning can conduct online registration for admission by applicants anywhere in the world, without limiting applicants to CBT centres, what is the peculiar difficulty of JAMB? If WAEC and NECO can successfully conduct registration for their examinations online without experiencing duplication and/or swapping of applicants’ data, why should the approach of JAMB be different,” asked AESCCO.
The body said if the new JAMB policy is not rescinded, it will worsen unemployment in the country and increase crime rate, as the children of cyber café operators will drop out of school because their parents would have been forced out business.
Citing an international court ruling, the African Charter on Human People's Rights as well as constitutional provisions, AESCCO said the right to life entails the right to livelihood. The group cited Section 16 (1c) of the 1999 Constitution, which states: “The state shall within the context of the ideals and objectives for which provisions are made in this Constitution that the economic system is not operated in such a manner as to permit the concentration of wealth or the means of production and exchange in the hands of a few individuals or of a group."
AESCCO argued that JAMB 's decision to lean towards the CBT centres constitutes an abridgement of its members' rights as guaranteed by the constitution and other conventions on human rights. It called on the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions to investigate its members' concerns. If these are found to be valid, AESCCO wants the Senate to take measures, including adopting a resolution to compel JAMB to execute its functions in line with constitutionally guaranteed rights.
