I don’t think it’s a good advice, unless you were dating a liability with no value before you traveled. Everything depends on the compass you set there before hitting there. Some dey stay Naija set their abroad compass properly before traveling, while some travel just to start “anyhow anyhow.

I read those advices and I imagined what a newly married guy will do when he travels without his wife, maybe stop chatting, calling and reaching his wife to avoid distractions because he wants to succeed.

Then again, I asked, is it 100% guaranteed for you to succeed overseas when you cut off all the Nigerian folks you have as buddies, including your wife or girlfriend because you want to succeed.
