If I’m a coach I’ll tell my players to conserve energy for the last 20 minutes for Chelsea to tire themselves out.

#Marescaout
Frankly speaking, based on the overall performance and especially in first half, we did not deserve to draw this match, let alone loosing it.

Guy, you need to chill man. Garnacho is only 21. This is like being on the neck of a kid week in, week out.

He's not Rodrigo. He's not going to dribble past two, three players. But he's going to be direct. Being direct takes positional perfection, and that develops over time. Cut him some slack. He's 21.
[sup][/sup]This is an observation I have consistently made based on both performance and trajectory, he is just 21, Garnacho has the potential to become the next Mo Salah in the Premier League. His pace, directness, and mentality align with the attributes that define elite wide forwards in this league. Take it or leave it, but mark my words, he will be there. you heard it here first from me. Moratafc.🤣

Salah busy at AFCON
That is not the reason. He is no longer in a safe zone (England ), he is now in an area populated by radical Is!am!c belief, where his life may be at risk.

It would have been included if we had13 match winning streak.
I remember vividly that we had a 13 matches winning streak in the EPL and were on course for a 14 win before Tottenham defeated us 2–0, bringing the run to an end.

Pep guardiola is ridiculous. This one will be hard to break with Maresca.
This should be across all competitions, because under Conte we already had a 13 match winning run in the Premier League.

There are too many IFs in your analogy making it too overly simplistic. Some goal keepers are actually good at penalties while some are not. It's a skill/psychological issue. Petr Czech, Tim Krul, Dona, Sxchesny, Emi Martinez, Diego Alves, Kepa, are better penalty savers than Ter Stegen, Lloris, Raya, Ederson, Degea etc. The stats are there to back this up.

You also talked about execution and all that. The goal post is so big that some would wonder why players miss 1vs1 and penalties. If all players could execute(I.e score every chance including penalties), considering how large the goal post is, we'll be having cricket scorelines but it's not happening.

Check Diego Alves compilations on YouTube and see some of the penalties he removed even from angle 90°. If Martinez or Diego Alves was the GK for Palace or Arsenal yesterday, they would've saved 2 or 3 or force the takers to miss the target completely and the PK won't drag that long. Unsurprisingly, it's the team with the PK specialist(Kepa) who went through.

Same Kepa was also key(gave instructions to Lunin) when Madrid knocked out City in UCL via penalties.

Below was a penalty taken by Messi but Szney saved it. The still image doesn't do justice to the save and yeah, Messi isn't great at penalties but this was a well taken one that GKs like Llrios, Degea, Raya wouldn't get close to.
The penalty kick is structurally engineered to favour the taker, not the goalkeeper.
You rarely see fans, coaches, or teammates blame a goalkeeper for conceding a pks goals but instead, criticism is almost always directed at the player who misses. This alone reflects the high probability of a penalty resulting in a goal.
Good penalty goalkeepers do exist, but their success is often dependent on poor execution by the taker. A perfectly struck penalty, placed into the side netting, with high velocity and optimal height, is unsaveable, regardless of the goalkeeper’s reputation.
You just help me reinforce my point when you mentioned Szczysny saving Messi’s penalty and then you concluded that “Messi isn’t good at penalties.” If you agree that a player is poor at penalties, how is that different from my assertion that a saved penalty is a result a poorly taken pk?
So my summation still stands and Pele quotes still valid:
"Only a badly taken pk gets saved".

Before Arteta you weren't as competitive as this.

It seems he is already becoming a victim of his own success with you guys.

Good coaches are scarce outside, learn to appreciate whatever Arteta is doing and also,

Don't be like Coogar who thought anyone can coach Man united and be successful after Sir Alex Ferguson is gone grin.

Today the reality has hit them nicely that most of them are even tired of supporting the club.

Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, if you are in need of quality comedy, please do not bother with Netflixy or stand-up comedy. Simply just visit the Man U thread and start reading from when the match start. Scene by scene, minute by minute, pure premium entertainment with chapter and verses quotes from the book of lamentation.

To be honest, today I laughed so hard I was rolling on the ground. 😂🤣😅😁😜

Defending Garnacho goes against simple reasoning. You can’t love football and think Garnacho’s level is at professional level.

He is highly unintelligent, subpar ball control, can’t run with the ball in tight space , can’t dribble to save his life, poor passing, wayward crosses, poor shooting, zero defensive awareness, lightweight etc.

Dude has no skill because running isn’t a skill. Thinking he will amount to anything reasonable is just complete waste of time.

Most of you are actually forgetting Garnacho is just 21, many years ahead before he even gets to his prime and he's definitely going to develop and perfect his finishing. He is already putting up decent numbers even this young. Amorim will never know peace for making us sell him.
I have said this before and I will say it again, Garnacho has the profile and trajectory to become the next Sallah of the Epl. Those criticizing him now are merely setting themselves up for future dragging. When he fully matures and delivers consistently at the highest level, the same voices which criticise him today, will have no place to hide, we will call them out.

Kudos to the PSG keeper, that's actually four saves
So annoying, It’s like the PSG goalkeeper knew exactly where they were going to place the shot. The one he saved straight down the middle really amazed me.
