Season 1 Episode 2
🗣️ Pat Nevin: "Chelsea need someone who is going to buy into the methodology. Another way to say that is you need a puppet. Someone who does exactly what they are told from above.
Chelsea want success. They want the points to get top four or five and into the Champions League every season. But they want something else. They want someone who will do what they tell them to do. Those two things may not be compatible." |

The more you look the less you see Season 1 Episode 1 (Watch out for episode 2)
‼️ Don't forget one crucial moment, a really important moment of this story. The transfer market has always been a point. In the summer, when Levi Colwill suffered an ACL injury, Chelsea wanted to trust Josh Acheampong and didn't want to sign any other player.
Maresca went public and decided to ask for a new center back, believing that Chelsea, with many competitions, needed to have a new center back. So in that moment, already, the relationship started to deteriorate.
People at BlueCo are very, very impressed and happy with a very good job Liam Rosenior is doing at Strasbourg, and so from what I heard, in the internal conversations at Chelsea, the name of Rosenior in the recent days, has always been around.
And so keep an eye on Rosenior, because for sure 100%, what I can tell you here today is that he's a contender to become new Chelsea manager.

swiz123: Barcelona told Lewadowski not to score a certain number of goals in order to avoid paying incentives to Bayern. Best believe they have told Flick worse and signings are low and terrible.
Flick would jump ship if offered twice his salary. Andrewbaba44 ngbo? Things dey happen in this life sha. The first time I read about it, I doubted it and questioned the credibility of the news, how could this be possible? Even now, I still have my doubts about the story. How can you sign a striker and then tell him not to score? Why sign him in the first place? If the terms the seller gives you do not suit you, then jump.😅😅 |

Ibime: Maresca was playing a game with the Technical Directors from the start. He knows they are incompetent and have built rubbish but told them at his interview that Chelsea cannot fail to win big things in the future with all the young players they have bought. They were happy with his false praise and gave him the job.
So he got what he wanted which was enhancing his CV while dancing to their tune, and now he is ready to step up to work with people that know what they are doing. And he absolutely has the skills to coach City. So in a nutshell , he used us to upgrade his cv. |

I wish maresca nothing but the best , as for club it's time to start finding another sports I will give my all . Try cricket 🏏 it is super interesting but if you still want to remain in football man u will welcome you warmly |

KingAzubuike: It was so obvious estevao is one of the problems maresca has. More like he's being forced to use him whereas he doesn't want to. Weyrey fit kill for neto. Anyone who believes that Neto is better than Estevao after watching both play is not fit to be called a football analyst, nor can such a person be said to understand the game of football but If such an opinion comes from a coach, it raises even more serious questions about that coach’s level of judgment, talent assessment, and overall football knowledge . |

Sportsweb: Maresca don use Club World Cup trap sha.. just like Ten Hag trapped Man United with first season beating of Man City to win FA Cup.
Maresca no good like people really think Maresca was given 38 hectares of land to cultivate, in a race against 20 competitors. He has access to a tractor, an essential tool to complete the work efficiently and on time. Yet, he chose to rely on cutlasses and hoes, claiming he did not want the tractor to suffer damage. The question is, why invest in a tractor if there is no intention to use it when it is most needed? How many of you enjoy watching Estavo tonight? |

Ballzproblemm: how do you win CWC then give your manager bums, failed to upgrade our defense.
I don't care if anybody has issues with maresca until the hierarchy changes nothing will change. Which defence are you actually referring to? When Colwill was injured and Maresca openly complained about the need to sign another centre-back, I was the one who shared that news here. At the time, more than 60 percent of the fanbase here reject the idea. Many explicitly said, “I stand with the board on this,” while others argued that Maresca already had enough defenders at his disposal and should simply make better use of the options available. Fast forward to now, and the narrative has shifted. This is precisely why the earlier concerns about defensive depth and suitability should not have been dismissed so casually. He raised the issues about the need to sign an additional defender, but the majority of fans here go against it. Many openly stated, “I stand with the board on this,” implying that the manager should make do with the defensive options already at his disposal . |

popizaino: Hato that was one of the hottest prospects in the summer.
What Maresca cannot destroy does not exist. If we talk now, they will say Maresca is not the problem , but rather the Sporting Director. That statement avoids the real discussion. What exactly was the tactical justification for introducing Pedro in place of Palmer? Over the 30+ minutes he was on the pitch, can anyone objectively identify a single meaningful contribution, whether in chance creation, ball progression, pressing impact, or game control? |

popizaino: For Clarity sake. At what point did our get those chances? When i say we play an anti-striker football, and that Maresca's tactics isn'tinspiring, you will all come for my head while the reality keeps staring at you all week in week out.
I won't call for Maresca out,we will all suffer his incompetence together. For the opening 15 minutes or so, JPedro was virtually anonymous, it was difficult to tell if he was even on the pitch. Even after the goal, he remained largely ineffective and continued to drift out of the game until he was eventually substituted. That said, credit to Aston Villa. I am genuinely pleased for them,( though the loss pained me, but wetin I go do) and part of me hopes they can sustain this momentum and perhaps pull off a shock and miracle Leicester City did in 2016. |

Having a positive mindset about being title contenders is the dream of every team. But as things stand now, I do not even think we can secure a top 4 finish. The top 3 positions already look settled,Manchester City, Arsenal, and Aston Villa ( ...and nobody should quote me and say “it’s still early ooo” because I do not see villa out of top 4). That leaves Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United competing for the remaining spot. With this kind of erratic, up and-down performance, I do not see how we can secure that place. Thanksfully another extra spot has be given to EPL, the question is, can we...? |
