Webmasters › How To Make Google Index Your New Blog Post, Web Page Quickly. by more4rm9ja(op): 6:15am On Aug 09, 2015 |
For new blogs and websites that don't get indexed in time.
Ever created a post or webpage and it took days for you to find it on google search? Well, the thing is, google only get to see your new content (post/web page) anytime Googlebot crawl the web. But why wait till the spider comes around, when you can as well just tell them you've got a new content and you want it indexed?¡
I'm gonna show you easy steps you can take to make google index your blog posts or web pages almost immediately after creating them. Please note that they don't add all submitted URLs, and there's no guarantee about when or if submitted URLs will appear in their index., but there's no harm in trying right?
STEPS:
*. Sign into your google account.
*. Then go to webmasters tools (they've changed it to "Search Console" now) and click on 'Crawl URL'. Input the address of the page you wanna submit and that's it.
If the above steps is too complex for you, then do this, after signing in just go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url ...In the space tagged 'URL', input your new post or webpage's URL (address), confirm you're not a robot by entering the reCaptcha text in the box provided then click on 'Submit Request'.
Wait a few minutes and if you're lucky, your new content should now appear on google search (If it doesn't, keep re-submitting). To confirm if you've been indexed, input the URL in google search box and click on search.
*Extra tip, click here to submit your URL to Bing Search too (same process, pretty easy). Googluck! Source: http://more4rm9ja.wap.sh/index/__xtblog_entry/10690135-index-your-new-blog-post-web-page-quickly |

Ben1975: In order to be a good blogger one of the things you need is to be able to add value. Your content must enhance your readers lives somehow, if it doesn't you will not make money.
Have knowledge and passion on something that will be of use to others, you don't have to be the most knowledgeable expert but you must know enough about a subject to be of use to your readership. You do need to treat your blog like a business not a hobby. if you treat it like a hobby you will see hobby money (or none at all). nice point you got there sire. |

Sai Buhari, I believe with time we can produce our own guns, armor vehicles, stealth weapons...and maybe someday our own WMD . carnegiefan: The last time I checked Nigeria is not fighting a war against a foreign country. Boko Haram for example is a local construct designed by northern interest groups to return power to the north. If the dog no longer listens to his masters whistle calls, the master simply needs to speak to him in the same language they both understand, be it Hausa, Fulfude, or Kanuri. The civilized countries of the world refused (and rightly so) to sell you weapons because they know you will turn it on the people. As for Biafra (which is the real reasons you are really thinking about building weapons locally after foreigners turned you down), all they want is freedom. If you cannot give them freedom, be rest assured that you cannot outproduce them if it ever comes to that. Dialogue saves millions of lives and cash. Dude you're nut, this is gibberish. |

Ben1975: Excellent post more4rm9ja
Guess too many of our wannabe bloggers are unfortunately living in denial. Hoping some how money will fall into their accounts like manna from heaven...here's to hoping!
The problem is too many marketers harmfully peddle the concept of free and easy money on the internet so newbies come online with the wrong mindset to start with.
Ben Ajose Exactly bro, that's just the problem. |

What you need to know to create a successful blog.
These days a lot of people are interested in creating their own blog/website. The motive is pretty obvious; to make money...no thanks to lack of jobs and the present state of the economy.
Most of these people after reading success stories of people like Linda Ikeji and Seun Osewa of Nairaland.com all want to rush into blogging to make their own money too. But what they don't know or understand is that it's not a get rich quick scheme. It requires a whole lot of dedication, determination, time and hardwork.
Most of us know Linda's story, Linda Ikeji's blog was created around the time when not so many people have access to internet, a year or so after Nairaland.com was created (visitors and contributions back then were nothing to write home about), but these guys didn't give in 'cause their sole aim I believe, wasn't to make money quick but doing what they know how to do best.
You don't just go in today and expect to start making money instantly, it just doesn't work that way. And the funny thing is that the first thing these new generation bloggers aim at after a few post on their blog is getting Adsense approval or Affiliate marketing, but you don't even have what it takes to support it yet *lol*.
No quality/unique content, most just copy and paste stuffs from other sites on their own blog. How do you expect me to come read the same thing I've already read elsewhere on your blog? With this, there will be no traffic, which means no 'clicking'...so how the hell are you even going to make money from that Adsense? You need to get your acts together first. Post unique stuffs, make yourself stand out among the others, give your visitors something that'll keep them coming back.
*. Below are some few tips
Identify your audience
Before you create content, you should identify your target audience (same as choosing a niche). These are the people you want to visit your blog/site. Once you have this sorted out getting traffic won't be herculean task.
Know what your audience want
The key to getting traffic is knowing what your audience want or are searching for. You can use powerful tools like "Google trends" to explore related keywords your target audience might be searching for. Understanding related terms to your blog/site's content helps you create more relevant content for your visitors which in turn gives you more traffic.
Create valuable content
Give your visitors the best possible experience they can get by creating unique, specific and quality content. This will keep them coming back and reduce bounce rate as they know they can't get what you've got to offer elsewhere.
Don't frustrate your audience
It's annoying when you visit a blog and ads keep popping in your face from every corner, it causes distraction and increases bounce rate.
*. Make sure you fix broken links
*. Don't force people to register before they can use your site, especially if what you're offering can be easily accessed elsewhere on the internet.
*. Try as much as possible to always avoid grammar or spelling mistakes.
*. Make sure there are not too many ads in a page on your site.
*. Make navigation easy for visitors, use navigation bars that calls out important sections of your blog/site which is clear about where it takes them e.g 'Home', 'News', 'Contact Us' e.t.c
Make your blog/site mobile-friendly
More than 60% of internet users in Nigeria today access the web using their mobile devices. Make sure your blog/site is mobile friendly, loads and displays correctly on a mobile device. Click here google webmasters tool to check if your blog/site is mobile friendly.
Now that you've known all these, you can proceed to creating your own blog and making it the best among peers. Goodluck. Source: http://more4rm9ja.wap.sh/index/__xtblog_entry/10687327-blog-have-this-in-mind.? |

http://more4rm9ja.wap.sh/index/__xtblog_entry/10688629-pre-registered-sim-cards-deactivated-within-7-days?Do you own a pre-registered SIM card? You risk losing it in the next 7 days unless you re-register it.
Nigerian Communication Commission has given the various telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria Seven days ultimatum to de-activate all pre-registered SIM cards in circulation.
NCC said this has become necessary due to series of intractable security situation in the country linked to mobile communication, adding that any defaulting operator would face sanction
Director, Public Affairs at NCC, Mr. Tony Ojobo made it known in a press statement that the directive was the fallout of a meeting between Department of State Service (DSS), the network operators and the NCC, and Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA). He said the meeting, which held at the NCC boardroom in Abuja and took into cognizance crimes committed against members of the public either by kidnappers, terrorists, robbers and threats to lives, through the use of such unregistered SIM cards across all the networks.
But don't panic, the operators were also directed to notify concerned subscribers before deactivating their SIM cards. So If you own a pre-registered SIM and you don't want to lose it, please go re-register it in accredited centers before it get deactivated. source: http://more4rm9ja.wap.sh/index/__xtblog_entry/10688629-pre-registered-sim-cards-deactivated-within-7-days?Cc Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Obinoscopy |
