Thanks bro. I have someone in the school helping me to check and they have even confirmed that all letters go to the registrar office. I suspect the letter is at the post office. I am not yet in a hurry. I just need to to have it handy before taking the IELTS next month. I will give them more time for the school to have it. If its not yet out after the IELTS I will have to pay extra then. thanks for ur advice.

It appears the standard mail flip-flop in delivery time. I've seen a situation where verification from WES got to school less than 2weeks but when they will send the final report, it took 2months via same standard mail. If you know you will require for the evaluation to de done as quickly as possible, you might want to consider paying that extra money but if you don't need it so quickly, you may choose to wait. However, it's likely its already in your school, just that those in charge may just not bother to know where exactly it went. You can ask someone to check for you in school, they should check Exams and Records or Registry or Transcript Office. It appears school usually abandons it waiting for the concerned person to come pay the money to send the reply to the verification

I called WES today over the phone because my document is currently being verified and they mailed me on the 21st of January to tell me my copies of my documents have been sent to my school(I was lucky, they picked). The lady told me the letter sent to my school was just a standard mail and it wasn't a registered mail(A whole world organisation like WES?). I told her I already paid the 85 dollars for courier service and she replied that it's not for verification but for sending the final report to me.

She further mentioned that I have to pay an extra 85 dollars if I want the verification documents sent to my school directly.

Please can anyone advice me on what to do as regards this? Thank you.

pls apart from my bank draft and international passport copy what else do I send to the British Council in Port Harcourt for the offline payment?

From experience, it is very likely its already with school, they just may not know which particular office it went. Check registry, transcript office or Exams and Records, it should be in one of those, tell them to check the mail movement book. Usually, seems school wants the person involved to come and pay the cost of sending the reply to the verification hence, the delay.

good afternoon people. please I am already carrying out my WES evaluation credential. They sent me an email on the 21st January and 3rd of February that copies of my document had been sent to my school for verification but till now the school claims they are yet to reveive it. please I want to ask if anyone knows the courier service they use. do they use NIPOST or the likes of DHL? while paying for my WES i ticked International express. I graduated from Imo state university and our transcript system is manual. Please can anyone help me shed light on what to do as I would really appreciate this.

Is the middle name on your passport? Well, it seems to be a little challenge though, if the other names are on the passport. You could just explain this to them at the point of intake/entry at the embassy. They could fix that and you can easily explain that at the interview. You could also reach out to the appointment/ cgi website people and do them a mail or put across a call to them just in case you are still not comfy. Great day

the essence of the GCMS/CAIPS notes reveals to you the notes the VO wrote before making a decision to either approve or refuse the application. it tells you specifically the report of the application and the factors consider. it is more detailed than the generic refusal letter CIC hands out to applicants. it however takes off any guess you might have as to why your application was refused. I hope this helps.

yes CIC does accept supplemental information via the case enquiry form. you can use it to notify CIC of any relevant changes in your application

I have been following the thread here and I must say that it has been very informative and helpful. I applied close to my school resumption date and my school has already resumed. I was told that the embassy turns down application which is near the school's resumption except an evidence of extension is provided in the application. I was not aware of this during my application so I had to send them an email attaching a letter from my supervisor specifying that I have been granted extension. I want to know if the embassy accepts supplemental document sent via email. Thank you

come 2016 IELTS is 52k, previous charge is 40k. as for Wes you don't need to send your Waec. just Sen CD your Bsc certificate photocopy, then go to your uni and have your bsc transcript sent to Wes. make sure you print the academic document request form. it's on WES website. you also need to apply to WES first and get your WES reference number. the number would be quoted on all your documents.
I also think there is a center in calabar. check British council website. Good luck

Please anyone who fully understands WES ECA process could help me out. Do I need to send my WAEC results to them? I didnt attend any polytechnic and I only have a BSc. in Computer science. what docs should I send to WES. I have attached a screenshot for elaboration. thanks a whole lot for anticipated replies.

15 December – Passport with visa received from UPS.


Note: I applied with a conditional letter of admission . I saw in the Study Permit - Lagos Visa Office Instructions document that one can use a conditional LOA as long as you attach evidence of being able to meet the conditions.

U will need to do the Biometrics again at the VAC. ur medical is valid for one year so u can file it in ur current application as an upfront medical.

My brother. Just relax ur nerves(quite tuff) and wait till u get the package and keep ur expectation positive. Anything is possible. We've even seen cases of approval without medical instructions.

I really cant recall but the last time i paid it was about 37k plus. just budget like 42k incase u are asked to make further copies or anything u cud tag as a speculative motive. if u r in doubt u cud still send an email to vfs and they will reply u with the exact info.
