My wife submitted her application on 11th July and got Passport Request this evening.
I am sharing this to encourage all those that is still expecting a decision. My Gods grace, it will end in praise

Just bear in my mind that any deferral beyond one academic semester (150 Days) requires a new visa application irrespective of the school, so starting next year September is unlikely to work with your current visa

About this, my application was eventually approved last week but school had already cancelled my admission, I contacted them to ask if they can re-activate my application they said no that I have to apply again, the next available intake for the program is September of next year, I just want to know if this would not affect me at the POE if I opt to resume next year and also can I apply for another course for the January intake ( it’s also related to my course of study) I need urgent reply please everyone

1. No, She won’t need PAL as the rules doesn’t apply to her, She got her visa before they implement the PAL.
2. Yes, you will be able to renew it.
3. Yes, Both of you will have to redo another medical before traveling, update the medical slip to IRCC and have in handy when traveling.

Your sister will need PAL and if her program is not a masters, you wont be able to get another SWOP because she deferred her start date for more than 150 days.
IRCC law states that any deferring that exceeds 150 (one semester) the students current visa wont be valid for studies again and a new student visa application will be required and any current visa condition will apply.

I APPLIED FOR FRANCE TOURIST VISA ON THE 28TH OF MAY AND WAS ISSUED A VISA 6 MONTHS VISA TODAY.
THIS IS MY 2ND FRANCE VISA AS MY FIRST VISA WAS 10 YEARS AGO BUT I ALSO HAVE VALID CANADA, UK, CHINA AND EXPIRED US VISA

If it's been stuck at transfered from VAC for more than 2 days, kindly go to TLS and collect the passport.
I experienced similar issue when mine was transfered to VAC on Monday this week and no further update until a friend of mine who used works at TLS advised that it should be ready for pickup, irrespective of no further update and I did just that yesterday.
So just get to TLS and pick it up, provided it's above 2 days of the last update

Alhamdulillah!!! Drop box is back. The struggle for date refused now.

Please before we rush and cancel our appointments, especially for those with 2022 appointment date be informed that your passport will stay with the embassy for a maximum of 60 days after IW application and currently no date for IW on their portal.
My appointment is in April 2022 and I rather attend my interview and recieve my passport after 3 days than do IW and be tensed for a complete 2 months after application.
Pls let's be guided and don't rush to cancel appointment that is close by

Yes U need to do COVID test weather vaccinated or not. My bro inlaw learnt the hard way last August and ended up paying $250 for an emergency one hour COVID test at Dallas airport enroute to Nigeria and still missed his flight at the end.

It depends on the type of Europe you are studying in because some of them is "ELOPE". Countries like Cyprus, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia though in Europe but in reality it's an extension of Africa and I hope you are not a student in any of them. If you happen to be in any of them, I am sorry to break your heart, you can gather all the financial sponsorship you can but my Gateman Musa stands a better chance of getting America visa in Nigeria than you. So pls to advise you effectively, let us know which exact country you reside in . U Gerrit?

Please i need a quick guide on these questions, please

I am an international student in Europe, im applying for a b1/b2 visa and i am filling my DS 160 form, Under the section on how do you plan to finance your trip to the United States, initially, i choose SELF sponsor because as a student here i cant claim that im working when im still on student status. Recently a friend was denied b1/b2 visa because he used SELF sponsor, the VO said he cant establish a strong means of financing his trip to the US being a student.

My question is, i have a business in Nigeria. can i use my company information as my sponsor while im here studying in Europe, will the VO recognize it? because i can see COMPANY/ORGANIZATION as part of the option listed in the sponsorship section. I have all my company CAC and the rest docs with me here to evidence my claim during my interview. i will appreciate everyone's contribution in this regard. Thank you in anticipation

That's not a problem. Go ahead and complete her DS160 and book an appointment for her using the already issued visa fee reciept. The visa fee receipt will work for her irrespective of the passport Number as far as the name on the reciept is the same. I have used a visa fee reciept paid with my old passport to renew my visa.

Good day guys,
Please I need some advise here. My elderly aunt went to pay her US visa fee at GT Bank and mistaken gave the teller her old passport expiring today. Funnily (not funny though) She was just coming from the passport office where she had gone to pick up her new passport. The challenge now is the old passport expires today and the visa fee is tied to it. I don't know if I should blame the teller who should have advised her that the said passport expires in a few days and may not be used.
What do you advise we do as she wants to book her appointment at the Embassy. Thanks.

My next appointment is Wednesday. I know two pple that have used her and they had all positive things to say. She is not so young and will make you feel at home. My accommodation is very close to her and the hospital so I kinda feel safe. PM me for a hint.
