DomPerignon: This would have been a formidable challenge to Tinubu but since Giringori is going to repeat his foolishness of 2023 by hoarding SE votes, it's going to be Tinubu all over again like in 2023 only that this time around the Christian vote in the north will be going to Tinubu , SS will vote heavily of Tinubu and the SW is going to give Tinubu near 100%. Tinubu will do constitutionally very well in the NW and NE .
Giringori will come a distant last with his tribal votes from the SE and forever cement the fact that SE votes are not required to seek the Presidency as long as you can get them to vote a tribal candidate of theirs. Putinofrussia: Tinubu will easily win with a landslide in 2027. Apart from the legacy insecurity and high cost of living which is global,Tinubu has performed creditably well more than all previous govts but he should sit up and fix the worsening security situation.
On the other hand, these are people and reasons why Tinubu will win again...
1.Pensioners' health subsidy and free maternal services.....Most pensioners and their families will vote for Tinubu including the women who wouldn't want the free maternal services to stop.🥰
2.Dialysis health subsidy....Most dialysis patients families will vote for Tinubu.
3.Nelfund beneficiaries up to 1,388,592 students as of April,2026........Both the existing beneficiaries and the ones about to come into the universities and their families will vote for Tinubu.
4.Free technical colleges with free feeding and #22,500 monthly free money....The parents of these young students will vote for Tinubu. There are still many more but these are the major programs Nigerian masses will not want another clueless govt to stop because no other govt in the history of Nigeria has given Nigerians these laudable gifts.
Now for the 'failures'...
Insecurity....This is a legacy problem initiated by Northerners and still been facilitated by them. No President can stop it unless the people especially the Northerners support and agree to sheath their swords. It is decades long problem that continues to grow and grow even if it subsides a little,it grows again because it is supported by some Northerners in the govts of Obasanjo,Yaradua,Jonathan,Buhari and now Tinubu. It has religious, ethnical, political and parochial roots. Unfortunately, some foreign terrorists have joined the fray. It doesn't have just a military solution but a live and let live solutions that include negotiations et al. Gun violence in America takes thousands of life every year but no American President has been able to stop it because it is perpetrated by Americans. Out of 2 evils,,sometimes you take the lesser one in order for life to continue..
Israel couldn't defeat Hamas,Hezbolah,Houthies even by killing100 thousands of their people. Israel will just continue to fight for eternity because those people's children will continue to fight Israel. The Crusaders were never obliterated, they took power in some nations and got assimilated.USA and its allies never obliterated ISIS,they were scattered into other nations like Nigeria,Mali etc and their leader still became the President of Syria. So also was Taliban etc. If anybody will stop this carnage,Tinubu will but he will take some steps that some people will not like and will cost him his second term and without second term, you can't solve the problem.
If you want to talk about cost of living,it is all over the world but Nigeria felt it more because of the removal of subsidy which was sinking Nigeria. Bag of rice went over #100,000,beans was #2,400 per Derica and so on. It is not enough but things have come down a little while some are still up.
The greatest and unparalleled achievement of Tinubu are the unheard in Nigeria massive projects he is executing all over Nigeria. No sane person will want all of these to stop.
None of the Presidential candidates has what it takes to govern Nigeria like Tinubu going by their antecedents. Well done sir. Read this crap again and clap for your failure as someone educated Tinubu is the worst human being to ever been elected as a president Take that to the bank and please campaign anyone in a public place such as market, car parks or bus about Tinubu reelection and come back for testimonies if you survived it t |

I appreciate your very detailed feedback here. Indeed, Jos is a fantastic place for horticultural products. I actually first travelled to Jos back in the early 1980s to take the computerised exams into Hillcrest an American mission school located in Jos.

I too will have to follow the same breakfast meal plan sequence because of the loaded super foods and anti-oxidants the recommended veggies contain. AlphaTaikun: I appreciate your sharing this breakfast tip. My father is also an octogenarian like your father.
The Military diet tip got by your father from his participation in the famous 1979-1981 Lebanon peacekeeping mission (which the Nigeria Military personnel performed creditably well) is highly impressive.
My quick question for you is: Does your father eat the carrots, tomatoes, onions, pepper, ginger, as diced or slices alone OR can the mixtures be BLENDED into a smoothie in a "Nutribullet?" I have a Nutribullet which I use for making smoothies.
In addition, I read a research a few years back indicating that juiced carrots (and other juiced vegetables) are BETTER absorbed into the body and effectively utilized than eating them raw for CLEARER vision based off of tests carried out using juiced carrots on young American recruits into the United States Air Force who where initially rejected due to bad eyesights. With regular intakes of juiced carrots daily, in a matter of weeks, their visions improved remarkable and they got recruited into the U.S. Military. You are absolutely right about the juiced carrots. I stayed a bit in Jos and I never missed carrots daily as juices or just eating raw because he helps improve eyesight. My dad didn't juiced his but slice the tomatoes, carrots, ginger, onion and fresh peppers in a plate. He sometimes sprinkles a pinch of salt for taste . You are absolutely right about carrots tremendously improving eyesight. My Dad doesn't use medicated glasses till date and still reads the scriptures in the church. I have been eating that combo for a few years now and I can tell you it's been good and helps builds the body systems. Please the tomatoes should be tomato 🍅 Jos and very ripe. He picky about it and select good big onions too. |

These men are our brothers, uncles and fathers so let's promote good health for all. My Dad is ex military and in his early 80s now without any major medical issues. Every morning, He eats sliced fresh tomatoes (2 at least), sliced onion, one fresh pepper 🌶️, sometimes ginger is added and carrots as breakfast. He then gulps it down with a good amount of water. eddie7: STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES JOSEPH OLASUNKANMI TEGBE AS MINISTER OF POWER
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Mr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe as Minister of Power, subject to confirmation by the Senate.
The nomination has been transmitted to the Senate for screening and confirmation in accordance with the Constitution.
The nomination follows the resignation of the former Minister, Adebayo Adelabu, who stepped down from office to pursue elective office.
Mr Tegbe, from Oyo State, is a fiscal and economic reform expert with over 35 years of experience spanning the public and private sectors.
He is a former Senior Partner and Head of Advisory Services at KPMG Africa, where he led wide-ranging initiatives in fiscal policy reform, institutional transformation, and governance. He has also advised key government institutions and private sector organisations on strategic reforms, regulatory frameworks, and investment structuring.
He is at present the Director General and Global Liaison for the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), where he is responsible for strengthening bilateral development cooperation between Nigeria and the People’s Republic of China.
The NCSP also coordinates engagements with public sector stakeholders to advance economic and social development in line with FOCAC objectives.
Mr Tegbe’s experience includes significant engagements within the power sector, particularly in regulatory and institutional reform involving agencies such as the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Company (NBET).
His nomination is expected to strengthen further ongoing efforts to reform the power sector, enhance grid stability, and attract sustainable investment in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President expects the Minister-Designate, upon confirmation, to bring his extensive expertise to bear to advance critical reforms and deliver improved outcomes for Nigerians in the power sector.
Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) April 30, 2026 Another failure loading, an even bigger one. Why not nominate a power specialist or technocrat from Yoruba land to fill your ethnic mindset? Am sure there are hundreds of Omualabis who are power specialist |
