This 1diot thinks it's Europe who will develop our players for us. Here I was expecting someone intelligent enough to grasp the concept of self development and improvement. What is the plan for our league? How are we to raise its technical and aesthetic standard and make it financially self sustaining so that we can start keeping our players here to benefit our national team? Here I was thinking this clown would be answering such questions.
Instead all the buffoon wants to do is collect govt allocation and use it to pay some white fool who is then supposed to cast some oyibo magic spell over the national team and win the world cup, afcon, confed cup, chan and wafu cup beating every team 5-0 along the way. The magic that didn't work with Philippe Troussier, Bora Milutinovic, Bertie Vogts, Lars Lagerback, Clemens Westerhof and Bonfrere Jo will somehow work this time. Oh, and while we're at it, let's do nothing to improve the state of our league. In fact let's go round every quarter and remove the 4 best talents from there, then let's package them off to the Dutch second division, pocketing some nice "fees" in the process. Gullible Nigerians who lick the buttocks of European football will hail us and to the skeptical ones we'll sell it as "polishing talent in "European developmental leagues." I don't have time to go tru the whole thread to see if someone has said this but OP I must tell u that the reason why dem babes place importance on those things is cos most guys make it look like it's the most important thing; u hear guys saying why I go date woman wey no get azz nd brezz nd when they see the good girls they'd be cheating on dem with the girls that flaunt azz nd brezz, some will even proudly say they're keeping her for marriage Na nd just playing with the other girls.

@op...u know there is no smoke without fire. Even you have got to admit that some guys have shown ladies pepper. If ladies avoid poor guys, there surely must be a reason.

We have all heard of poor guys who were all nice n loving while poor with a good girl who waited on God to uplift them, only for the guy to get rich and dump them because they are now too old or too low for their level after 5-10years of courtship. Or the ones that the rich girl loves and marries anyway and they turn her to punching bag and use her money to carry other girls.

A beg guys wicked ooo, I know that you know this. So as you are advising girls, also consider them as your sister and give them advice on how to protect themselves from certain type of men.

You never know a poor guy's true character until he becomes rich.

Very true and I support this as always. What we put on the front page negatively impact on the getting tangible business prospects for Nairaland like other bloggers benefit from.

Nairaland as one advert professional desribed it, is just like a junk yard and no business corporate would want to be advertised through such platform no matter its traffic per second.

Mods need to wake up or Seun develop an algorithm to automate the front page postings based on sheer popularity, relevance using key words not capable or inciting religious or tribal bigotry, or fake unverified news or articles.

We also need to stop all those 'click here for more links' its distracting. There should be a script to read off thise links and display a preview of the content to enable users decided whether they want to continue or not. Facebook has such in place.

I could go on and on ....maybe Nairaland should have her own National Conference to iron out all these issues.

Remember, Nairaland is just a mini Nigeria and if we cannot get it right on the cyber representation of the country, then we can't get it right on the physical.
