Copy and paste is sin if you fail to give credit to original writer. Repent! |
khristals:Both are not the same thing. While one is categorically tagged "movie", the other is tagged "championship, etc". They should come straight and tell us it is choreographed of which a lot of people don't know. What if I say I don't watch movies? Besides I never told you I don't watch wrestling. Rather, I said "I no longer take it serious like when I was a kid". Simple grammar. |
Professional wrestling is a joke. I no longer take it serious like when I was a kid. |
God bless Chief Commander himself! Your songs are forever evergreen. I can't mention my top 3 favourite artists outside my ethnicity without mentioning you. You are a true ambassador of Nigeria to the world. |
Bravo! The Nigerian Police Force and the unsung heroes - the patriotic and selfless Vigilantes. Community policing is the way to go. |
It will be cool to see Larry beat him black and blue. However Ghana is known for producing world class pugilists too like Nigeria in the past. Larry is a Southpaw (left-handed) and as such I expect him to be more aggressive during the fight. Moreover he has height and teach advantage. |
Thank God they are alive to tell the story. APC ... CHANGE! I dey laugh!! You guys need to start working, time no dey. The economy is already on a free fall. Could it be that APC's Change slogan was either a scam OR joke?! ![]() |
Make no mistake, I am a full-blooded and passionate Igboman and will defend anything Igbo at all cost, if such need arises. However, I do not believe in Biafra; don't want to have anything to do with it and will never be part of it. |
DeviIhimself:In all honesty, do NDIGBO love other people we claim to be one Nigeria with? Many of them hate us, and likewise we hate them, so...? Ndigbo should stop having this mentality of "WE" against "THEM". I insist that Nigerian economic climate has been more favourable to Ndigbo than any other tribe or ethnicity. The Yorubas, as "bad" as we think they are, have tolerated what even an Igbo sub-group, Ngwa (with all due respect) have not tolerated from fellow Igbos in Aba. Yes of course, sometimes some of them cross the line just like some of our people have never presented themselves as good ambassadors. As much as we blame "them" for hating on us, Ndigbo have a lot of issues to deal with themselves. A lot of us are not helping our image. |
DeviIhimself:Talking about resentment, do we Ndigbo love ourselves more? Does brotherly love still exist amongst us? Many people (particularly breadwinners) have lost their lives after a quarrel over a piece of land in various parts of Igboland. ACHA-ERE, igba NTUTU (Pin) and ipia BELT are common enchantment weapons in most Igbo communities. A lot of our people feel safer outside Igboland than in Igboland. In Igboland, there is resentment among states, sub-groups, clans, local govts (within a state), villages (within a community), etc. Not forgetting caste systems that have refused to die natural death. Ndigbo have sacrificed family values, decency and honesty at the altar of mammon. We have replaced "Ezi afa ka ego" with the manthra "Mgbe onye jili nwe ego, ozaba afa nna ya." In essence, we honour rich drug dealers, kidnappers and people with criminal tendencies at the expense of honest but poor individuals. Ejide ndi na ebu drug mmadu ise, ano na ime ha but Ndigbo! Nwanne, tell me another thing because I am in touch with Ndigbo and Igboland. I must say that if Ndigbo have 10 problems, we (Ndigbo) are the architects of 9 of them. |
mightyhaze:Who is not Igbo? It is either you cannot see or read. For your information, I am NWAFOR IGBO (son of the soil of Igboland). I am neither a JEW (as claimed by some) nor AKPA, nor ORU (the riverine Igbos) nor any other hybrid Igbo. I understand, speak and write Igbo. You should consider it a privilege having my kind on this thread. ![]() |
DeviIhimself:Nwanne, its a fact that ECOWAS law is only on paper. If you are in doubt, ask Igbo people doing businesses in ECOWAS countries like Ghana, Cameroon etc. Take it or leave it, Nigeria will definitely make it more difficult for Ndigbo if Biafra secedes. |
Jakpon:Shattap, iwu onye ara!!! Owu onye kwuo okwu, eriri pant ya adobie?! Go back where? (Ole ebe ina ala)? Echem ma inwere ako-na-uche (I thought you have common sense)! |
DeviIhimself:Please go back to my post you quoted which I have edited. What we are gaining in Nigeria? Well I am going to tell you but also do me a favour by telling me what Ndigbo stand to gain in Biafra than in Nigeria. WHAT NDIGBO ARE GAINING IN NIGERIA 1. Spread of Business Tentacles: Like I said earlier, Ndigbo are virtually in every nooks and crannies of Nigeria. Little wonder it is said that "anywhere you go and do not see an Igbo man, it is advisable to run away". If we secede from Nigeria, we would loose the opportunity of expanding beyond our coast. 2. Investment Outside Igboland: We might be loosing a reasonable chunk of our investment if Biafra successfully secede. Nigeria will not hesitate to put stringent policies that will cost Ndigbo a lot of their investments in the (new) Nigeria. 3. Presently, there is no indices on ground that suggest that Ndigbo are ready for Biafra. Besides the hullabaloos of bigoted Igbo e-warriors on social media, there is nothing else. I should be taking Biafra serious when Igbo investors begin to invest more in Igboland. |
You made a whole lot of sense in your write. I share your sentiments in totality. Is there wisdom in FORCING people to be part your secession bid? None at all! I am a Igbo son (proper); I do not share in Biafran dream and WILL NEVER support it! I strongly believe that Ndigbo stand to get more being in the entity called Nigeria. There is hardly any part of this country where Umu-Igbo are not doing well in commerce. Ndigbo have investments and valuable properties outside Igboland than in their region. What will happen to their investments if Biafra comes to fruition? Is it not likely that they would loose all their investments outside Igboland seeing that they are no more citizens of Nigeria (but Biafra) hence would be treated as foreigners? Ndigbo think!!! |
Henceforth, I shall begin to take this OMOJUWA of a man serious. He seems to be genuine. |
Kabiyesi o!!! May your reign be peaceful! I hope he is Ifa's choice and not Aregbe's? I am also interested to know who his Abobaku is. ![]() |

Everyone hold your peace! It is a fact that most of these people claiming to have "most influential kings" are not proper Igbos in real sense. Onitshas are hybrid Igbos whose ancestry is traceable to Benin; a fact that have never been disputed or refuted. They are even more comfortable identifying with Benins than Igbos. For the avoidance of doubt why is he called Agbogidi? What does that mean in Igbo? As for Nri stock, facts I strongly believe that "Igbo enweghi Eze". I make bold to say that most of you making claims of superiority of your king over others ARE NOT NDIGBO. You are either ORU (hybrid) or MBIARA-ABIA (migrants). |
Good to see him without having a cap on his head. Indeed Nigeria lost a rare gem. May his soul continually rest in peace! |
fr3do:This may sound like a joke but very true. The Ijebus are Sudanese and not offsprings of Oduduwa. Ikwerres are not Igbos; Julius Agwu has even said that severally. So be it. |
Bioligical daughters of the deceased woman inherit her clothings, jewelries, kitchen wares and other personal effects. Note: buildings (if she had any) are exclusive rights of her male children as women do not inherit building in classic Igbo culture. |
Which way Nairaland? Apparently, making jest of other tribes or whatever group that represents them is now permissible in Nairaland. Everyone knows that Biafra is synonymous with Ndigbo and anyone who derides Biafra is obviously deriding Igbo people and should get a ban. What offence really earns a poster a ban? I really want to know. |
Gbam!!! They have my unwavering support too. Enough of the intimidation. The National Assembly does not belong to APC alone. Is APC just realizing that Bukola Saraki is corrupt? They should have stopped him from joining their party. |
As much as I know, Osu Caste system is gradually dying a natural death in most parts of Igbo land. Credit to Christianity. It is people like you who wouldn't stop talking about it that are giving it a lifeline. Nonnsense!! |
This is child abuse? If this is a "joke", I must admit that it is tasteless. What is Nairaland turning into? |
For your mind the soldier is having fun abi? The SUPERMAN RAGALIA or COSTUME might be hunter's protective garment laced with Ijebu or Auchi Juju given to him by his grandfather. ![]() |
obinnafred:You pretended as if you knew what you were saying. ![]() Saint Obi's name is OBINNA NWAFOR. If you care to know, he hails from Alaenyi in Ogwa Community in Mbaitoli LGA Imo State. ![]() |
My Governor, Ewele Okorocha got it all wrong this time around. ![]() |
People should stop using Majek's predicament to gain popularity online. If you can't help him, let him be and please mind your business!!! ![]() Do not tell us what we already know. |
RepEnugu:watch us very well, we don't give a damn! Learn to mind your business. Our exposure has taken us beyond where you are. #NdiWAWA. |
Anambra people and hypocrisy! Azigbakwa!!! You can say whatever you like about Imo people, that is your funeral. Let me remind you that Chief Abdulazeez Chibuzor Udeh, a certain money-miss-road that Oliver DeCoque eulogized in NNUKWU MANWU wasn't from Imo State. By the way being in Secret Societies (which is more of a way of life amongst you) and being a Muslim, which is better? Back to the topic. Eze Emetuma is the traditional ruler of my neighboring town. He succeeded in luring some of our people with money into his religion. Guess what? Most of them including Emetuma love wahala and we avoid them as much as we can. |
