I refuse to buy your conspiracy theory. Why was it carried out in Ozubulu of all places in Anambra and Igbo land at large? Information making rounds suggest that it was drug business gone bad. Apparently, someone was trying to outsmart his partners in crime. It is being reported that a certain BIG BOY from the town built a church and access road for the community. On the day of the "thanksgiving", his associates in crime came calling. On sensing danger, he did not show up. The rest is now history. Truth be told, it is high time Igbo States and Communities started a massive public enlighten campaign to dissuade our people from drug peddling, trafficking and business in its entirely. It should be preached against in the media, churches, village meetings, every gathering etc. We cannot continue to pretend whereas lots of our youths see it as the shortest cut to wealth. Ndigbo must endeavour to restore her value systems.
