[s] Admissionclass: ) we are not landlocked This is one of the major reasons why ipob thinks they need Southsouth minorities but that was in the past now Rivers can be dredged, we have seen how barges are now landing In onitsha river port even without dredging tankless of when it is dredged we have more than five rivers than can give us access to the sea especially river Niger which is an international water way.
2)we have enough land for agriculture I would like to make this clear having the South South minorities will not guarantee us food security and breaking away peacefully from Nigeria does not mean we would still not trade, business comes before emotions, but in other words if they refuse to trade with us we try outside or learn from Israel how they were able to convert their rocky, desert and infertile soil to a productive land they even export food .
Risk of war Sometimes last year some northern elites laid claim to the oil producing states in the Niger delta as conquered territory ,and that anyone who denies them right to the oil should be ready to fight them blood for blood This is Dan serious any attempt to break away with Niger delta might be too bloody and we are not ready to sacrifice for people who do not sympathize with us.
Foriegn exchange The fastest growing economies in Africa do not have one drop of oil in their land.we still even boast of one of The largest gas reserves In Africa in our 5 states alone.but I subscribe more to a manufacturing economy that gas it's even a good thing we dobt have oil .
Let's us not break away and form a small Nigeria
God bless Alaigbo

[s] IkwerrePikin: I want to use this medium to thank his excellency Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers state for proscribing the IPOB.
Concerning the order to fish out IPOB members:
1. Rivers state is in the Niger delta and will continue to remain in the Niger delta because that is where God has placed us. The South South ethnic groups were never part of Biafra and have nothing to do with Biafra or IPOB, so we reject every form of Biafra struggle in our land. We Niger delta have our own struggle too and we respect our boundaries. We expect the igbos to focus on their South East states for biafra struggle.
2. We Rivers state youths promise to work with you in securing our state. From now henceforth, we will begin to look for members of this terrorist group “IPOB” in our communities across Rivers state. Rivers state is our land, we know the crooks and corners of this state, we will capture these miscreants and they will be taken to court to face justice.
3. The peaceful and law abiding igbos doing business in Rivers state will continue to enjoy our accommodating nature, while we urge our brothers in other Niger delta states to stand up and chase these IPOB miscreants out of their states.
Niger delta people will not tolerate any group or region who wants to annex Rivers State or the Niger delta at large, we will resist it with whatever it takes, we are ready.
Port harcourt city is the lagos of the people of Niger delta and a home to all Nigerians but nobody, we repeat nobody should take our peaceful and accommodating nature for granted else that person, group or region will be seriously dealt with.
Thank you. God bless everyone. [/s] |

Politics › Re: How Can You Make Nigeria Great???? by MosheDayan: 4:29am On Oct 28, 2020 |
[s] onasokhare: If you're asking this it means you genuinely want to make this country a better place. I, as a matter of fact want this country to be a better place too. But do you know what the issue is? How many of people like you and me can we find in Nigeria?
You and I are a living witness of what the kind of people Nigerians are. Most Nigerians don't care about anyone else but themselves. Many Nigerians has lost hope so they do little or nothing to improve Nigeria it self.
Many of people whom I know believe we are all thieves in Nigeria, these people believe no matter who you are you will steal the people's money when you get to power. They said and I quote “we are all thieves in Nigeria”. Their claim was that when they get to power themselves they will steal the money meant for the masses.
This idealism annoys me so much that when they make such statement that “we are all thieves” in Nigeria, I will ask them “and your father?” But guess what, they get offended. I remember one of them whose mother was a politician made the same stupid statement so I bluntly ask if his mum too was a thieve, after all she's already holding a political post. He started defending his mum. What an hypocrite.
What other says is that as long as their family is doing fine they don't care about Nigeria. In a nutshell our mindset is completely corrupt and filled with negativities.
Now coming to your question “How do I make Nigeria better”.
You can make Nigeria better if you make yourself a better person You can make Nigeria better when you wish for others what you wish for yourself When you stop favouring someone because you're of the same tribe When you stop taking any giving bribes When you stop being pessimistic and start being optimistic When you strictly play your role as a Nigerian When you invest your money in innovative ideas By identifying problems and turning them into business By becoming an entrepreneur By creating jobs for the unemployed By becoming a charitable millionaire/billionaire By being selfless rather than selfish By not being an hypocrite By not running out of the country to develop other people's economy when yours is collapsing By believing in yourself and being relentlessly By perseverance and lastly Being a patriotic Nigerian These are they ways that I know and I hope it helps. [s] sarrki: Ohanaeze names members of Alaigbo Stabilization Fund Ohanaeze Ndigbo FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedInWhatsAppEmail
condoles with those who lost lives, property condemns burning of Zik’s statue By Nwanosike Onu, Awka The apex Igbo socio -cultural Organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, says it believes in one Nigeria and will not be part of anything that will bring disunity in the country.
It says the greatness of the country will only be realised when all sections of the country from North to West to the South work together as one people.
ADVERTISEMENT Ohanaeze therefore, condoles with the people of South West, South East and South-South on the quantum of destruction witnessed in those areas including loss of lives during the #EndSARs protests
These were contained in a statement Tuesday by the President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth worldwide, Ambassador, Arthur Obiora and made available to reporters in Awka, Anambra State
The group also warned the youths across all sections to desist from making utterances capable of plunging Nigeria in chaos.
Obiora also commended different State governments for setting up judicial panels, while calling on them to include the youths on such panels
The statement reads in parts, “we the young people of the Igbo Speaking Area under the auspices of the Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide, wish to use this medium to call for calm and restoration of law and order in the country.
“We state categorically that we are in total support of the #EndSARS protest demanding an end to police brutality, extortion, fortune and killings of innocent citizens’ especially young persons by different units of the police force, with special emphasis on SARS.
Read Also: Ohanaeze condemns attack on Oba of Lagos palace “There are numerous cases of our people who have fallen victims to police brutality and for that reason; we commend the initiators of the protests for providing an opportunity for young people to express their grievances concerning such acts.
“We commend Mr. President and the Federal Government for accepting and granting the #5 for 5 demands of the young people during the protests.
“That none of the 5 points were dropped nor amended clearly shows that for once, young people have collectively gotten the government to listen to our sincere agitations on an issue.
“We also commend the state governments that have already set up their judicial panels of inquiry as part of the demands of the #EndSARS protests and call on others to do same so that the panels can get to work and deliver on the directive of the Federal Government.
“We commiserate with our brothers and sisters of South West extraction for the great loss suffered, most especially in Lagos State.
“We also commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives and all the State Governments that have suffered great economic loss due to the massive vandalism and looting that took place these past couple of days.
“We pray that peace is restored immediately, so that rebuilding and restoration will commence immediately.
“We commend our brothers and sisters in the Northern part of the country who resisted all forms of provocation instigated by traitors who do not mean well for our country.
“We acknowledge that we are one people, with a common goal and destiny. Our greatness will only be realized when we work together as one people.
“Ohanaeze calls on every young person to desist from acts and utterances that are aimed at plunging this country into chaos. We will not allow anyone derail this country on its course to greatness.
“Finally, Ohanaeze will like to reaffirm and pledge our commitment and support to a united Nigeria. We pray that God will continue to bless and keep us together and united.”
Again, the Igbo group said those who desecrated the statue of the late great first President of Nigeria and Igbo icon, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe would not go unpunished.
Ohanaeze said those who burnt the statue of Zik in Onitsha did not show respect to Igbo, adding that the West would never do such to the statue of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo

Na for this nairaland many people were shouting Yes this is revolution.. Yen yen yen yen. Now the damage is done and people are back to their suffering mode.. They have come again saying we told them not to burn properties.. We told them that it will have an aftermath effect...
Nigarrr when you change mouth again .. Were you not happy they were burning down everything? Were you not shouting revolution revolution?
Now, you participated in burning govt properties and they looted your business in return...
Yorubas use to say one adage ' okun ko kin o wuru ki a bu wuru' - - - Meaning ' you don't take water from a troubled sea with aggression'.
1. I pity Lagos people... Na people wey dey go work go suffer am.... Lag bus no work... Danfo go use una eyes see wennnnnn
2. High rate of kidnapping on inter state highway and police have refused to do anytin due to fear of people. So sad abt this.. I Wana travel but scared.
3. Robbers are attacking some communities now. Even prisoners have been freed into the society again
4. Some even tried to attack a boarding school to rape girls. Imagine, are these girls the cause of govt fvck up
Note: I, DenreleDav strongly condemned this government and their actions to have sent army to the protest ground at first.. Dt was a reckless decision... Life lost can't be regained again even with billions of dollars. It was just a peaceful protest.... Every country holds one and no harm is done.. Why is Nigeria own different?
But going to destroy what we enjoy as citizen is a reckless action... If you are part of the people That looted private businesses and you don't make amendment to return it, I pray that when the time comes and u own your business too, it will be looted....
Some families are in deep sorrow now. After looting their businesses, some lost their lives in the process of defending it..
I repeat, if you were among those that looted private people businesses without no aim of returning it back , your own business to will go down one way or the other...

Any historians in the house to vet this:
Forgotten History Of Igbo Tribe And Northern Alliance.
Do you know that when Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;
Chief of Army Staff was from SE Chief of Naval Staff was from SE IG of Police was from SE Chief of Defence Staff was from SE Internal Affairs Minister SE External Affairs Minister SE Education Minister South SE Many other key ministries to SE Parliament President SE Unilag VC from SE The University of Ibadan VC from SE North resisted same at ABU!
Still, there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!
Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.
Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it!
We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets. There is a tendency to think those are truths and facts.
*What follows are documented facts that can be cross-checked for authenticity!"*
Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
*“Prof. Ben Nwabueze was the man who drafted the constitution that took away powers from regions and handed it to the central government because his brother Aguiyi Ironsi was the head of state then. Today, he is shouting restructuring that he helped to destroy. We won’t forget.”*.
WHAT BIAFRANS WILL NEVER TELL YOU ABOUT THE REAL CAUSE OF THEIR WOES IN NIGERIA TODAY:
The Igbo man is known to enjoy blaming the Hausa fulanis, Yorubas and indeed every other Nigerian tribe and Lord Luggard/Britain for their seeming claim of being in third class citizen status in Nigeria. In their perpetual attempts to play the victim card, they recount the political events of Nigeria from 1914 to the present in a half-baked and highly selective manner which cleverly avoids the mention of the roles played by their elite who by all natural laws of judgement were actually responsible for the woes that befell not only the Igbo race but the entire Nigeria nation. The story told in the post above is one of such selective and distorted accounts of history which the average Igbo man is fond of narrating.
However, the national archives have the complete and unedited history of Nigeria regarding the political events beginning way back from even before 1914. I will therefore proceed to furnish my readers with the complete story for all to read and be endowed with enough facts so as to judge and act from an informed position.
Shortly after the 1914 Amalgamation of the Northern and Southern Protectorates, it started getting clear that the country was bound to fail as the amalgamation in question was done with colonial fiat without the consent and consensus of the different tribes which were over 300. This prompted the political leaders to start asking for de-amalgamation so as to forestall the future danger which the forced amalgamation portended.
To that end, Ahmadu Bello, speaking on behalf of the Northern protectorate in 1944 described the amalgamation as "The mistake of 1914 which if allowed to remain will ultimately lead to unstoppable bloodshed and a failed country". Awolowo, speaking on behalf of the Yorubas and Western minorities, described Nigeria as a mere geographical expression not qualified to be called a country let alone a nation. Awolowo added that if the amalgamation could not be reversed, then Nigeria should be structured as a strictly federal state so as to enable each tribe enjoy autonomy this freedom from being dominated by any one single tribe.
But Nnamdi Azikiwe, speaking for the Igbos, denounced Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello, terming them ethnic champions. He accused them of nursing a sectional agenda against the unity of Nigeria, and he declared further that the Unity of Nigeria was non-negotiable.
After moving the motion for independece in 1953, Anthony Enahoro proposed that a secession clause should be incorporated into the future constitution of Nigeria so as to give legal backing for any tribe to peacefully exit the forced union if it feels marginalized in future. According to Enahoro, such provision in our constitution would instill in all Nigeria's future leaders the fear of the consequences of misgovernance. But Azikiwe, speaking on behalf of Igbos, rose against him in the parliament and labelled him an agent of disunity, and enemy of Nigeria. At a later date, Awolowo too made a case for secession clause, but Azikiwe again resisted him and instigated the colonial authorities to threaten him and Enahoro with charges of treasonable felony if they didn't stop proposing secession clause for the future constitution. While Azikiwe did all these, Igbos cheered and urged him on because they felt the future Nigeria was theirs to dominate and lord it over every other tribe
Before independece, Tafawa Balewa too had in a public speech described Nigeria as a British experiment and Nigeria's unity as a British intention which Nigerians themselves don't believe in. But Azikiwe kicked and demonized him too. Had Azikiwe co-operated with Enahoro, Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa about the secession clause, Nigeria perhaps would not have been this misgoverned.
For those in doubt, here is a link of one of the numerous instances in which Nnamdi Azikiwe fought against the secession clause proposal for the future Nigeria constitution.
It should be noted that there were many Igbo members of the parliament in which Azikiwe fought against Awolowo's secession clause proposal in the link above, but not a single one of them rose against Azikiwe or condemned him.
Igbos initially never wanted to hear anything like secession in Nigeria because they so much believed, though falsely, that they were the most educated tribe. (The first Nigerian tribe to produce a university graduate is the Binis). As an evidence of Igbo domination agenda hence their initial resistance to the idea of secession; here are some quotes:
"From all indications, the god of us Igbos have destined us to rule the whole of Africa"..... Nnamdi Azikiwe (1945). [/s] |

rexericx: REVEALED: Nigerian Soldiers Involved In Lekki Massacre Took Eight Bodies To Bonny Camp Clinic
Though Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu blamed ‘forces beyond our control’ for the attack, while insisting that he had no authority over military engagements, the soldiers involved in the heinous mission have now exposed the truth.
The soldiers, who were deployed from 65 Battalion, Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, Lagos, told some of the victims’ relatives after dumping them at MRS Hospital that they were sent by Governor Sanwo-Olu. “They came in two Hilux vans with atleast eight bodies. Some were still alive when they returned. They dumped them at MRS Hospital. They told us clearly that it was Governor Sanwo-Olu that sent them,” a brother to one of the victims, told SaharaReporters. It was, however, gathered that against widespread belief by members of the public, Brigadier-General Francis Omata didn’t command the soldiers nor was there when shots were fired.
He was said to be at home when the shooting occurred and was shocked when people started calling him that soldiers were at the toll gate attacking protesters. After rushing to the scene and identifying himself, Omata was able to pull back the soldiers. It was then he discovered that they were from there 65 Battalion, Bonny Camp, which is headed by Lt Col S. O. Bello

[s] MyopicMods: NNAMDI KANU DOES NOT SPEAK FOR IGBO NATION By Joe Igbokwe
I have restrained myself since yesterday from making comments on the State of the Nation given the wanton and primitive destruction we witnessed in Lagos yesterday and other states in Nigeria.. Since yesterday I have been reading all the narratives on social media. A friend of mine sent a Video purportedly made by NNAMDI KANU of IPOB which has been circulating on Social Media. I figured out that they are trying to link the Childish and inciting video for being the cause of the mayhem in Lagos. In other words the take away is that NNAMDI KANU instigated Igbo in Lagos to attack Lagos in the name of protest for #ENDSARS. As an Igbo political leader in Lagos who has been here for close to 40 yrs I think history will permit me to speak out and put the records straight before the feeble, weak and senseless narratives create ethnic war in Lagos.
1. Igbo I know do not have the character to destroy but to build and that is why we always say in Igbo proverb: Ebe Onye bi ka ona awachi, meaning where you live is where you build your home. Check your streets , check all the markets in Lagos, check Estate developers, check everywhere in the metropolis and see and feel the presence of Igbo. They build anywhere they go and they do not destroy.
2. NNAMDI KANU does not speak for the Igbo Nation and therefore his opinion is not the opinion of intelligentsia and business moguls in Igboland. He is speaking for his brainwashed young elements who are lost in his antics and fruitless separatist agenda. Those who matter in Igboland are not on the same page with the Kanu boy of IPOB.
3. Igbo in Lagos do not posses the character and the courage to invade His Royal Majesty Oba Akiolu’s Palace in Lagos Island, TVC, LTV, CHANNELS TV, ORIENTAL HOTEL, GTB, BRT, NATION etc. My people will say in an adage that “It is rat inside the house that will tell the rat outside the house that there is something in the house. We have to look inside. I have been in Lagos enough and deeply too close Asiwaju to know all his enemies in Lagos and Yoruba Nation and it is political. Every PDP member in the South West do not like Asiwaju until they entered AD, AC , ACN and APC. I was the spoke person of our party for close to 14 yrs and I know what I am talking about. They see Asiwaju as the dominator of the environment and armor bearer of South West politics. They put all their political failures on the doorsteps of Asiwaju BAT. If it rains heavily it is Asiwaju that caused it. If there is thunderstorms it is Asiwaju that caused it. If their businesses fail it is Asiwaju that caused it. If their wives cannot get pregnant it is Asiwaju that caused it etc. Success breads envy. As you are going up some people are going down and those going down will not like those going up.
4. The political hate for Asiwaju BAT has no boundary even in Nigeria. It goes beyond Nigeria. The PDP Nigeria knows it was Asiwaju that defeated them not President BUHARI. PMB came in 2003 and did not win, PMB came in 2007 and did not win, PMB came in 2011 and did not win until ASIWAJU’s political sagacity, creativity, and strategy pushed South West ACN to form alliance with CPC, ANPP, and some APGA members to give birth APC. This is root cause of this hate.
5. If you are a deep political thinker with great eyes, if you follow political events like I do everyday, if you are a good student of politics and if you have third eyes you will know at once that Asiwaju BAT has built an intimidating, formidable and political networks across Nigeria to the extent that it is difficult now if not impossible for anybody to stop him from becoming the President of Nigeria in 2023, all things considered. Only God can stop him and this I know very well. The strategic ,well coordinated, clinical attacks on his interests in Lagos is well planned , well structured and clinically delivered to stop him in 2023 at all cost but will it stop him? No sir!!!
6. Asiwaju is not the only Governor that ruled Nigeria from 1999 to 2007. Where are other 35 governors, and why are they not trending like Asiwaju after 13yrs out of power? You cannot stop an idea whose time has come. You cannot cover the sun with bare hands.
7. While they are busy burning bridges across Nigeria, Asiwaju BAT has been building bridges across Nigeria since 1999, East, West, North or South. As I speak to you now he has formidable and intimidating networks and groups across the 36 States in Nigeria including Abuja. This is reason they started the war against him.
8. Please help to find the progenitors and the leaders of #ENDSARS MOVEMENT even though they will tell you they have no leaders. I am sure the leaders are not Igbo and I know it . #ENDSARS may be a dummy sold to the public but i have a feeling that it has deep political undertones. When they started #ENDNIGERIA, #ENDBUHARI, #ENDASIWAJU, #ENDEVERYTHING people like us started doubting the movement. Now see the rot and the damage staring us on the face.
9. Now having said all this, let me ask this fundamental question: who is driving this narrative that Igbo led a sophisticated Yoruba nation to destroy Lagos in their own land because one funny character called Nnamdi Kanu told them to do so? In the Yoruba Nation, in the 21st Century? Where is the muscle? Where is the courage? Where is the strength? Where is the capacity? We can do better than this.
10. Without sounding immodest let me say it here that the Sophisticated and well cultured Yoruba Nation I know very well should throw this narrative away with left hand. It is not good politics. Lagos has the machinery, deep political structures and cultures, great understanding, and all the trappings of modern civilization to investigate this horrible allegations trending on Social Media that one funny character called Nnamdi Kanu commanded his boys to attack Lagos. It is one dangerous allegation that can cause disaffection in the metropolis and beyond if not properly managed and handled. READ ALSO Police declare Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer wanted over death of cops
11. Finally let me use this medium to draw the attention of of South East Governors, Senators , House of Reps members, State Law makers in the South East. Igbo intelligentsia, Igbo leaders of thought , Traditional Rulers, Captains of Industries from Igboland, Igbo business moguls, Igbo Professors and intellectuals, all Egg Heads in the South East , Igbo intellectuals in diaspora, Igbo professionals etc to rise up now and speak out. By all means Nnamdi Kalu must be called to order. Nnamdi Kanu is putting all Igbo in danger across Nigeria. Igbo remain the most traveled tribe in Nigeria and they have settlements across Nigeria and across the world. The kind of statement he issued yesterday which I listened to is capable bringing up another genocide and millions of Igbo will die. Evil triumph in any society when good men do nothing. When elders are not at home children may wear snakes as necklaces. The hottest part of hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of great moral crisis. Let us gather to reason together and run when the rains is yet to come. Nnamdi Kanu is putting all Igbo in trouble and danger in Nigeria. If we are sensible people and I know we are this is the time to call a spade a spade and tell Nnamdi Kalu that a tree cannot make a forest. I am the political leader of NDIGBO in APC Lagos and I do not want any harm to come to any Igbo and other tribes in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria. Let history be my witness. Case rested. [/s] |

[s] NewsOneNigeria1: A coalition of nine militant groups in the Niger-Delta region have listed 11-point demand that President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria must meet.
The group under the aegis of the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers (RNDA), disclosed this in a statement issued by its leader, self-styled “Major-General” Johnmark Ezonebi, aka Obama.
In the statement, the RNDA noted that multinational oil companies have been warned to evacuate their staff to avoid human causalities. The statement reads as thus; “In support of the existing demands by the #EndSARS protesters, we have added new demands that could stop the mayhem on foreign oil multinationals, oil and gas infrastructures and the Joint Military Task Force involved in the Operation Crocodile Smile in the region.” “We have vowed to take the destiny of our region into our hands and kick-start the occupation of all the major oil wells and the oil platforms, we will also bring down all major crude oil production pipelines to zero,” it added.
