Don't mind them.

The dream of the Igbo has always been to wield the type of dominance that Hausa Fulanis wield in Nigeria, so you can imagine their bitter frustration of being unable to back to back.

Sardauna called out their domineering behaviour perfectly, it is why they have the nerves to rename Oyigbo to Obigbo and talk down on the SS minorities.

They will sit out this Buhari administration whether anyone likes it or not, and we will then decide to restructure through the proper channels according to terms acceptable to everyone.
Obigbo was Obigbo before it was renamed to Oyigbo. If you are not familiar with a place I think it's best you keep quiet.

You can never ever see any Hausa or Fulani making Nigeria proud. But they want to continue to rule people who are better than them. Nigeria is messed up because of the North.

PoliticsRe: The Trio Of Femi Fani Kayode, Dele Momodu And Nnamdi Kanu : Political Chameleons by MosheDayan: 3:39pm On Nov 02, 2020

Bulleye:
The inconsistency of Nnamdi Kanu is in tune with the dubiousness of Dele Momodu and totally aligns with the agent provocateur role of Femi Fani Kayode. The three of them always want to be visible on the national stage. Their usual method is to latch to issue that generates strong public emotions. They play with the herd mentality of the people and ride on their emotions to gain prominence. They have nothing to offer. Their only article of trade is to swim with the public tide to be ever relevant and prepare themselves for some political spoil in the future.

Nnamdi Kanu as a secessionist has nothing to do with Femi Fani Kayode who just concluded his nation-wide tour of some states in Nigeria. And Dele Momodu is notorious for promoting the so-called corrupt politicians Nnamdi Kanu is lambasting to gain prominence.

Nnamdi Kanu deceit in his pursuit of his elusive Biafra blew open when he supported Abubakar Atiku for the office of the president of Nigeria. And Dele Momodu is a shameless journalist whose income is sourced from corruption of politicians and their associates. And Fani Femi Kayode has chosen to remain a career politician with no known means of livelyhood. As a lawyer, how come Femi Fani Kayode is not at his chamber? Which cases has he won in court for his clients?

Ipob remains a fraudulent scheme run by Nnamdi Kanu to deceive his gullible Igbo followers. He is also in league with some unscrupulous Igbo politicians to arm-twist the rest of the country into conceding the presidency to the Igbo.

The futile and dangerous misadventures of the duo of Femi Fani Kayode and Dele Momodu to whitewash Ipob as a friend of the Yoruba is a wasted effort. Yoruba will only work with the Igbo who share our political agenda of a restructured, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

Was American citizen kidnapped? Yes.

When did this happen?
On Oct 26th, 2020.

Was the American citizen kidnapped in Nigeria? No.

Where did the kidnapping take place? In Niger Republic.

Was it the American soldiers that single-handedly rescued the American citizen?
No.

How was the rescue done? SEAL team with the aid of Niger and Nigerian soldiers did the rescue. It was a collective effort of forces from the three countries.

Was it Donald Trump that masterminded the rescue of the citizen? No.

Who then masterminded the rescue?
Service chiefs.

Why is Trump taking the glory? He his the commander in chief though he had not idea on how the citizen was rescued. He came into the picture after the victim was rescued.

Why didn't the service chiefs get some accolades? Trump wants all the accolades to himself to score a political point against his opponent.

We can change and also change the country.

But do you know that Nigeria has economic advantage over any small country around us? our population is a great advantage. It is much more easier for a hardworking man or woman in Lagos, abuja, Onitsha or Kano etc who knows what he is doing to become rich than in Benin Republic or Togo.

PoliticsRe: Rivers NASS Caucus Lauds Gov Wike Effort To Rein In IPOB by MosheDayan: 6:50pm On Oct 31, 2020
[s]
IkwerrePikin:
Members of the Rivers State caucus of the National Assembly have affirmed their support for measures taken by Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, to rein in the Indigenous Peoples Organization of Biafra (IPOB) in the State.

The lawmakers said they unconditionally stand with Governor Wike on every actions he has taken to preserve lives and properties of all residents in the State.

Leader of the caucus, Senator George Sekibo, stated this when he led members of the caucus on a solidarity visit to Governor Wike at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.

Sekibo explained that the caucus had been impressed with efforts and commitment of the governor in the handling of EndSARS protest and the aftermath. According to him, while the governor had ensured that the protest was peaceful, traducers and enemies of the State masquerading as IPOB decided to cause mayhem; kill innocent residents and even security officers; destroy properties of the State and citizens, especially in Oyigbo, Obio Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas.

“As a caucus, we want to state our unalloyed support for your re-affirmation of the proscription of the Indigenous Peoples Organization of Biafra (IPOB)in line with the categorisation of the group as a terrorist organisation by the Federal Government”

“We also want to unequivocally state that Rivers State cannot and will never be annexed by any group, organisaiton or person(s) whatsoever, as we are Niger Delta people and will always stand for the course of the Niger Delta, her people, dreams and aspirations”, he said.

Sekibo emphasised that if the powers that be had listened when in 2016 the Governor called the attention of the world to the atrocious activities of the default Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SAR) in Rivers State, the nation will not have suffered the colossal loss of lives and properties during and after the protest.

In his response, Governor Wike lauded the caucus for the solidarity visit and reaffirmed that he will continue to do all that is required to protect and defend the State.

He explained that members of IPOB capitalised on the contiguousness of Oyigbo to Abia State to invade the community and unleash violence, resulting in the death of six soldiers and four policemen.

The governor who vowed that IPOB will never be allowed to exist within Rivers State, reiterated that law abiding Igbos and other nationalities shall continue to live and do business in the State unmolested.

He reiterated that if the Federal Government had not politicised security, steps should have been taken to checkmate the notorious activities of the default SARS. He further blamed politicisation of security for the reason why the State’s Neighbourhood Watch has not taken off.

The Governor assured the lawmakers that when the State receives the N78billion refund from the Federal Government, the money will be judiciously used for the benefit of the entire State.

Furthermore, Governor Wike declared that he will supervised the employment of 5000 youths into the State Civil Service in order to ensure that no community, ward, Local Government Area was marginalised.

PoliticsRe: Lai Mohammed Visits TVC, The Nation, Says Attack On Media Is Attack On Democracy by MosheDayan: 6:48pm On Oct 31, 2020

bolaayenimo:
Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has described the recent attack on The Nation Newspaper and Television Continental (TVC), during the EndSARS protest in Lagos, as an attack on free speech and democracy.

The Minister made the assertion in Lagos on Saturday when he visited the two media organizations in Lagos to commiserate with their management and staff over the attack.

He said the action of the arsonists was a premeditated attempt to silence the voice of reason and stifle press freedom.

“We believe that the attack on the Nation is not just an attack on the Vintage Press, it’s an attack on the free press, it’s an attack on democracy, because there can be no virile and robust democracy without a free media.

“Therefore, an attack on the Nation or any media house is a direct attack on freedom of speech and also democracy and, honestly, we believe that there is no justification whatsoever for the attack,” Alhaji Mohammed said.

He however expressed his delight that a few days after the attack, the two media houses bounced back, a development which he described as a sign of the commitment and sheer determination by the organization's management and staff to continue to promote democracy in the country.

“The fact that within a few days you were able to return to the stand and on air, I think it’s a big blow to the attackers, who thought they could shut out the light of press freedom,'' the Minister said.

He strongly and unreservedly condemned the attack on the media houses, saying the attempt by the arsonists to stifle press freedom has failed woefully.

Alhaji Mohammed, who expressed sadness at the extent of damage to the corporate headquarter buildings and other properties of the two media houses, said there was every reason to thank God that no life was lost in the attack.

The Minister assured that the Federal Government will continue to support responsible journalism and wished the two media organizations a quick rebound in terms of properties, equipment and revenue losses.

The Chairman of The Nation Newspaper, Mr. Wale Edun, and the Managing Director of TVC, Mr. Andrew Hanlon, conducted the Minister round the premises of the two media organizations, respectively.

The Minister was accompanied on the visit by the Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Dr. Mansur Liman; Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Buki Ponle; Executive Secretary, Nigerian Press Council, Mr. Francis Nwosu; Registrar/CEO of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo and the Acting Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba.

The leader of indigenous people of Biafra has adminited that IPOB is responsible for the killings, destruction of government properties and organizer of End SARS Protester.

Recall that on the 4th of October 2020 a member of special Anti-robbery squad (SARS) killed a young man in Ugheli Delta State and took his mecedez 4Matic Jeep. The killing brought Protests all over the country.

The Protest was organized by Nigerian youths, celebrities, and social media influencers. In fact the Protest was organized in almost all the 36 states of the federal.

It was a peaceful Protest until the military shot many people dead at lekki toll gate. This action by the military made Protesters to result to destroying government properties. The Protesters were very annoyed after the military killed their fellow peaceful Protesters.

The destruction of government properties started in Lagos and spread to other states.

However, the federal government is accusing IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu for being responsible for the destruction of government properties and organizer of End SARS Protest.

The accusations has gone so viral to the extent governor Nelson wike outlawed the activities of IPOB in Rivers State.

Nevertheless, Nnamdi Kanu has made it clear that those responsible for the Protest are.....

Please pray for us, these IPOB guys have NO FEAR, soldiers were shooting at them and they returned fire until the soldiers ran back and called for reinforcement. Guys these IPOB guys are no longer the flag bearing crowd of jittery protesters we were used to seeing who were easily dispersed by the police, they have bloosomed into a very organized fighting force and I suspect they have been receiving some sort of military training.

I say this with deep fear, we just might have another deadly insurgency brewing in the East if something isn't done FAST. Lots of Igbo soldiers who were either dismissed from the army or were disgruntled with life in the army are covertly joining IPOB and swelling their ranks... and many of them have seen one form or action or another in the North East against Boko haram, so you can imagine how experienced they are.

boman2014:
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says
the power sector has recorded an all-time
national peak of 5,459.50 megawatts (MW).

In a statement on Thursday, Ndidi Mbah, TCN
general manager of public affairs, said the new
record was achieved on October 28.

She said the power generated was efficiently
transmitted through the nation’s transmission
grid at a frequency of 50.26Hz by 8.15pm on
Wednesday.

Nbah said the new peak surpassed the
5,420.30MW achieved on August 18 by 39.20MW.

Speaking on the development, Sule Abdulaziz,
acting managing director of TCN, commended all
the players in the power sector value chain for
the feat.

Abdulaziz attributed the gradual but steady
improvement in the quantum of power delivery
to collaboration by the sector players.

He noted that the TCN was committed to
working with the generation and distribution
companies to ensure sustained improvement in
the sector for the benefit of the nation.

Saleh Mamman, minister of power, on
Wednesday, told the house committee on power
at the national assembly that the country’s grid
power capacity has increased significantly since
2015.

“Today, the installed grid power generation
capacity has reached 13,000MW from 8000MW in
2015; similarly, transmission capacity has
increased to 8000MW from 5000 in 2015. The
distribution system have the capacity to
evacuate 5500MW of power, having grown from
4500MW in 2015. The private sector
ran distribution system have the least capacity
in the power value chain,” the minister said.

“During the period between 2015 to date, the
sector has recorded successes and has faced
challenges. In order to deliver this
administration’s promise of providing stable and
affordable power to Nigerians, a way forward
was defined and supported by Mr President’s
political will.”

IkwerrePikin:
My good people of Oyigbo local government in Rivers state, i am very concerned about what is happening in Oyigbo local government because i know a lot of innocent people are currently suffering because of the IPOB miscreants in their land.

This is because you people have allowed this IPOB migrants operate in your state with full audacity to the point of burning down police station and killing of fellow Nigerians from the North.

This is not acceptable because if your brother is being killed in the North you will never be happy with it especially when the northerners that are being killed have not link with these corrupt politicians ripping the country, they are only truck drivers looking for their daily bread only to be killed by tribal bigots who have turned terrorist. I sympathize with them including the innocent Oyigbo people that might have been killed due to retaliation from the Hausa community.

My Advice To Prevent A Repeat Of the Current Situation:

Oyigbo people, Rivers state is not igbo land, we have no igbos here in Rivers state, name and language similarities between two tribes doesn’t make one the other, it only shows evidence of intermarriage and trade relationship between the two tribes over the years but can never eradicate the true ancestral history of the indigenes.

1. Work with the security agencies and help them identify these IPOB migrants in your land. Ensure that ipob do not carry out any meetings and stand any IPOB flag in your land.

2. This will make the government understand that you’re not part of them and want them out of your communities which will make the job easier for the security agencies.

3. Have you wondered why there are not IPOb crisis in other parts of Rivers state? It’s because we don’t harbor criminals, we don’t tolerate these IPOB migrants.

Please ensure that you help the security agencies fish out these IPOB migrants in Oyigbo local government while the government works to call off the curfew in the next few days.

Trust me if you indigenes allow these Ipob migrants to repeat the crisis they caused in Oyigbo, it will be more difficult for you innocent Oyigbo indigenes.

Safe your land from IPOB migrants terrorist from Eastern Nigeria to Oyigbo land in Rivers state, Niger delta.

God bless you.

These steps if taken, will not only uproot IPOB from the east but will also fill in the representative yearnings to which many Ibo youths seek for. Ohaneze-Ndigbo, Aka-Ikenga, IWC, Alaigbo development forum, South- East Governors Forum and all other groups should key into this.

1. Declare Nnamdi Kanu, Uche Mefor and other IPOB leaders a personae non-grata in Iboland.

2. De-radicalized the wiling IPOB members who recanted from the group.

3. Jam for good Radio Biafra from the airways and demolish any premises caught broadcasting signals.

4. Commence a mass arrest and bounty on all IPOB heads in Iboland.

5. Ask for the de-citizenship of Nnamdi Kanu in the UK and Isreal.

6. Begin mass demolition of the homes of any IPOB member caught attending meetings both home and abroad. As a matter of fact, commence a tracking of their homes in the village and demolition carried out henceforth.

6. Launch a new Ibo unity organization to be headed by intellectuals to replace the tactless IPOB.

7. Launch a new eastern radio station to push Ibo ideals.

8. Begin a mass socio-political movement in the whole Iboland built on cultural pride, tolerance, and peace.

9. Form a new Ibo party to win all the seat in all Ibo speaking communities.
