Firstly, I won't find it boring if only NYSC was discussed here because that's something am actually following this thread for! I guess you know how it feels when you are following a thread for one particular purpose and each time you come to check updates on the thread you get to find out it's another discussion going on.
Secondly, I thought you guys creating a separate thread for your non-NYSC related gists would far more have been better and actually be a show of the NL culture!

I have been seeing it that way ever since I was a kid.
But first time I saw it I was kinda shocked sha, because as a kid my mentality was simply based on the fact that since they are in charge of electricity supply, they wouldn't suffer any lack of it. As a kid I wondered, but as I grew older, i realized I was in Nigeria!

So that brings me to the conclusion that you've either never been to a NEPA office before now and notice they also lack electricity like everyone else OR maybe this is the very first time you are seeing this happen!

d thing is, we only believe whatever nysc says...and since nysc said dia shall b 3 batches, we av to hope and wait for batchA to end camping..by den, nysc will shift dia attention to us..

if nysc is serious about 3 batches, den we can b hopeful of July...cos batchA strean2 will leave camp around may..nysc wouldn't rush anoda set to camp by June..

July/august is realistic.

Well according to what the DG said the other time,they planned having 3batches this year but this is Nigeria,where everything do not work in a normal way. Our experience with the A'16 is so annoying and frustrating (Time table was changed for like 4-5 times,and we re still counting).

My advice is that you guys shouldn't put all ur mind into June/July 'cos nysc may give you a shocker, plan ur timing well,u can be doing something and when they said the time is now then you know u re ready for them!

Majority of these prospective B16 corp members have forgotten we are in Naija were until it is surely sure, it's never sure!

Stop believing every rumor you hear. Better still confirm every rumor from the NYSC official website. There's definitely going to be a batch B by june.

The reason batch A was skipped last year was because of the general elections. The elections are over now so why skip batch B? Whoever told you there wouldn't be a batch B should give you a tangible reason why he's of that opinion.

And like I stated earlier, ignore any rumor that say there wouldn't be any batch B.

We all know what NYSC said last year December about returning back to the normal 3 batches by 2016 stating that the 2 batches they employed last year was too expensive to run...
But ever since then, we haven't heard anything from them yet.
So it's better we just sit back and relax as we wait for them to say something about it soon and also hope they keep to their word and call the next batch by June!
