Calafiori's injury is a big blessing to this Skelly boy and he's not joking with the opportunity at all. The fact that he's endearing himself to the fans already will make him really settle well into becoming a player the fans love.

It is surprising that the club is not even thinking of sending him on loan but giving him a shot at competing with first team players in a big club like Arsenal.

With time he might get moved to midfield, but that will be dependent on what becomes of our Carabao cup journey after the second league vs Newcastle
Yes... He is grabbing the opportunity with all he has.
A very proactive boy.

I still don't want to see him in midfield. He is at his best when he is facing the game (like VVD).
The last time he played in midfield, he was losing possessions.

The second leg against Newcastle is in two weeks time if I'm correct. Hopefully we will have players back for that match.

We're up against Aston Villa next. Liverpool visits Brentford.

We need the whole three points.

I like the guy. Baba collect yellow card and started laughing... The way he was rallying up the fans when he was sub off eh... And the fans were responding.

I hope Arteta continue to help him develop in that LB. Moving him to midfield is a big No for me

Sterling's time to shine. Trossard has been using his left comfortably lately, so i expect him to start at the RW.

Havertz needs to find his confidence ASAP and stop being Mama's boy.

Ricardo Regufe was asked in the last hour about Ronaldo and one last season in a European league!

He replied

" Arsenal have some injury problems right now, if they pick up the phone I would definitely recommend a short term deal until May for him in London. Wouldn't it be great ,he gets to show the world he's still Ronaldo and Arsenal get a top talent that they need ? "

Would you like Ronaldo until May ?

We should do well to sign more intelligent players jare .
At this stage, little is better than nothing.
It is a short term fix so i wouldn't mind IFF we can't land any of the main targets.

Why is it that we are always buying players that will not join us immediately ? What's the essence of signing players that cannot join the team instantly and start helping the team?

I detest all these futuristic signings like mad.
Bro.. I think it is better to strike while the iron is still hot. Transfer decisions shouldn't be for short term only but for long term as well. Arsenal have been chasing Zubimendi for a year now and even discussed his transfers during Merino' s negotiation.

Jorginho and Partey will likely not be with us next season so it is better to make preparations early.

BTW heard the deal for Vlahovic is off but Kolo Muani is being considered. What do you think of Kolo?

Arsenal hoping to strike deal with Real Sociedad for Martin Zubimendi. grin grin

Although his arrival might be delayed till Summer.

Martin - Mikel - Martin reunion.
Let's hope their partnership last longer and be more productive than MMM.

It will. I really wish Kai can borrow half of Gabi's mentality. When Kai is down, he is down. Last season, he was going through a phase till Ode and Saka handed that Pk to him. That lifted up his spirit and he went on scoring spree.

Remember MD38 against Everton, he was about to cry after scoring that winning goal.

Jurrien Timber came off in the first half of extra time with a hamstring complaint.

There was no mechanism of injury, and he has had a couple muscle complaints this season, whether that be tightness or minor strains.

Due to the lack of a major mechanism, it looks like hamstring muscle tightness rather than a true strain. [ PhysioScout ]

Medical staff will assess, but I doubt it's too much to worry about. He's just played over 100 minutes of football, as well as fixture congestion coming into play.

Still a chance he misses the North London Derby vs. Spurs. Tightness usually settles down within a week.

#AFC #Arsenal #FPL #COYG #ARSMUN #Timber #ArsenalFanaticsNews

Before Tomiyasu leaves in the Summer, they should hand him to EFCC. Timber shouldn't be playing much at this stage but the coach has no choice.
