You mean "harmful"?

If it was harmful from medical point of view, I think Odegaard would have been substituted earlier.

That pass really pain me sha cos that's a potential winning goal but knowing the situation of happened to Odegaard and knowing that it's Odegaard himself, I just believe it's the effect of the knock that caused it
The effects may not have been felt immediately. I have seen someone whose shin usually swell up and immediately, he would start looking for malaria drug. grin grin
I know it is funny.

Have you stopped looking at Arsenal through Arteta lens? cheesy cheesy

Cos thats what I'm looking at and if you do, then there's no other option except Havertz playing through the middle.

It's sad to say it sha
grin grin
At least you understand me. I am speaking from my own POV. That is why I said I won't be surprised if Havertz starts in Midfield.
According to Arsenalfanatics, Merino will be back for that Liverpool match.

Lol...
No be we deh set team sha.

He's an Arsenal player now, so I just have to support him. I believe Sterling will play a huge role in depth department
Left to me, he should start from LW while Trossard come in for him. Martinelli should come in for Saka. Like, I am seeing him as a starter sha.

One thing that may have put off clubs like Arsenal from Osimhen is his injury record.

G.Jesus is already quite injury prone. Spending a lot of money for Osimhen might be too much of a gamble for them.

In his 4 seasons at Napoli, Osimhen has only played in 30+ league games once..
Thank you!
Everybody keeps mentioning Arsenal. Let me add two more things.
1. AFCON is also an issue. I think this is why Pep hardly go for African players. I might be wrong
2. Can Osimhen give the same output as Haaland? I mean Arsenal scored the highest number of goals in their history last season without a traditional striker. If they are refocusing their attack to accommodate Osimhen, then he must give them what Haaland give City if not exact, at least a bit close.

Omo Havertz in midfield against Spurs is minus one but then what can we do. If only Gabriel Jesus will be back before then.

All this people with injury please when are the coming back?

This was just a perfect time for Merino to show up but injury again.

Meanwhile, I was just watching the highlights, can someone remind me again when Rice mic the ball please and how was there penalty earlier on?
Nah, Gabriel Jesus back or not, make Arteta no try am. My first choice will be Calafiori assuming Timber will be back to play LB. If not, let us play Zinchenko there. The third option is Myles.
But I won't be surprised to see Havertz there sha. It is what Arteta is capable of doing.

it was really serious and Arteta gambled it. It backfired spectacularly.

Immediately after this scenario, Arteta just removed him jeje grin grin grin
Ever wondered why footballers wear shin pad? That kick might have looked harmless but from medical POV, it was not.
Hopefully, he will be back soon.

Yeah Rice alongside Merino injury cos it wouldn't have been a problem if the latter was available.

In terms of sub, we still have "quality subs na"

Excluding Ethan and Kiwi, we have Zinny, Jorginho, and Sterling grin grin

I know say you don forget your guy, Sterling cheesy cheesy
Remove Sterling abeg. I think we all agreed he is not a good signing.

Jodera:
Lol, you're forgetting Jorginho?

But I doubt Jorginho will play cos he hardly plays Partey and Jorgi together. So what I'm suspecting is

Odegaard, Partey, Havertz.

Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.

Easy peasy grin grin
I know. None of Partey and Jorginho can play 8, and defensively, midfield will be too porous.
Zinchenko is another option but then he to, is weak defensively and lack physicality.
No Havertz in midfield abeg.

Our midfield is now suddenly lean.
Merino and Rice are out of NLD

Odegaard will definitely be fit. But who will complete the midfield triangle?

Make Arteta just play Calafiori.

This scenario really weak me ystdy. I was 100% dead certain that Odegaard would setup Cala on a one on one(I thought it was Saka before). I mean, it's Odegaard na. Even if it's not Odegaard, I would still have expected a perfect pass from any left footed player in that scenario

How he passed it straight to Brighton's player body is something that shocked me. I believe perhaps he was playing in pains cos it was very unusual.
He was in pain. The kick from that Brighton player really affected him. I think he had to go take painkiller two different times yesterday.

I love our set up and game play but honestly I wouldn't mind if one player scores dem goals and the team achieve success in terms of trophies. Haaland scoring goals doesn't take away the brilliance of other players in Man City. Last season he scored the goals but Foden won a more priced individual award.
The big question is where can we get our own Haaland? Do we have such striker in the market?

Is that a red card offence.

I just make up my mind that once it's not a red card offence hence Var can't review it, then I tag it as unlucky.

But then Kavanagh as a ref, I believe that guy is a closet Spurs fan.

Not taking blame away from us but he was really inconsistent with his refreeing today. Any physical tackle we do them, he'll blow but if they do same to us, he'll wave play on
I think it was intentional. He looked at Saka before raising his arm.
As for Kavanagh, they have dig out his biography asap...truat Arsenal fans now grin grin he was born around Manchester and na City fans plenty around the place. I don't think he is related to Spurs.

This is the kind of game where you fight for the maximum points, and now we lost two points needlessly.

We can blame the ref all we want but the whole fault is on Rice. Man fell for that bait when he was already on a caution.

Arteta has his flaws but the players need to put more effort too. I watched how Jesus was dribbling aimlessly in his last match and I just SMH. Is that football?

I hope there is a clause in Arteta's new contract where he either guarantee at least EPL or walk away. We ain't trusting any process again, we want to chop the process.

There is still chance Osimhen will play if he decides to stay back at Napoli.

Lukaku is his main competition and a scenario whereby Lukaku started missing chances (as usual) while Osimhen is somewhere at home will upset the fans.

At worst, they should just sign Johan Bakayoko on loan. Better than Sterling and Coman deals IMO
