I know it is somehow but how about a midfield trio of Partey, Rice and Merino against City. Make Ode go and relax small make we rough up those 115ers

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your definition of all action striker. If it means players that can interplay/link up, dribble, create, press, score, then Dave.P no be that person o.

Dave.p that's always insisting on Haaland or Haaland type of striker. A striker that will bang goals and people will fear.

In terms of Osimhen being in the market, I believe his wages and injury problem is what is limiting his chances, esp his wages. Chelsea of old would have snapped him up by now. Also, most clubs wan cut their wagebill like Man u.
PSG might not want to add another doctor

The only top club looking for striker and can afford his wages is Arsenal.
By all-action, I mean Halaand and the likes. Just goals and insha Allah.

I don't think his wage would have been an issue sha if he is all what you're insinuating him to be. Chelsea can even clear out like 3 players to make space for him.

I know u were quite predictable and u didn't disappoint me.

I deliberately brought up the article knowing u would lap up to it and start poking holes while deflecting from the major issue.

Initially you claimed Osimehn was not a prolific striker, yet he won a golden boot not for being a goalkeeper, not for being a LB but for besting every other striker in the league. You argued without any fact to prove he is not a prolific striker.

Later you claimed he is all about goals and nothing else. I proceeded to show you an analysis of him being more than just a goal scorer but a player whose off-the ball movement ranks up the ladder up there. They analyzed how he drifts wide , how he create space in addition being a good striker. You obvioulsy left all of that and look at what you come up with. undecidedi

You are quick to point out the article was written in 2022, but u wouldn't talk about scoring 26 league goals in 2022/23 and 15 league goals in 2023/24 season.

The article has rubbished ur opinion that he's not fit for a team like Arsenal.

When time reach, u go talk wetin Osimehn really do u.
At this rate, i think you're catching cruise TBH. I read that article, read what I replied to you and I still can't find the correlation with what you wrote here.

No, I think you're misunderstanding blueray.
I don't think Blueray needs an all action striker, instead what he just needs is someone that can bang goals and has the number to show for it as a Cf— whether all action or not. And that's the number Osimhen has thus he's in favor of Osimhen and nothing more. Any other thing apart from putting the ball at the back of the net is addendum cheesy

I'm the one that proudly talks about all action striker and I remember when he normally trolls me with Firmino cos of my love for him.

And as for Conte wanting Lukaku, it just proved Man is obsessed with Lukaku. I don't believe why any club should be going for him when he's clearly past it. Tbh, it has nothing to do with Osimhen but all to do with Conte and his Lukaku obsession
Nah bro.. DaveP is the one in favour of all-action striker. All of us dey here now. Blueray is the one that do jokingly tell him not to expect that kind of striker.

Ok, Conte is obessed with Lukaku. Why is he still in the market then? United bought Joshua Zirkzee and Chelsea are playing around with him. PSG the has the financial power are not even considering him even with Ramos out injured. Why?

Lol
Did you take your time to read what you shared?

The headline itself already flaw your argument. We don't need off-ball dynamo, we need on-ball dynamo
. To think the article was written in 2022 eh grin
All his off-ball attributes mentioned in the article, we have them in abundance. We have Havertz the space bender and Jesus the master of drop-deep football.
Since I'm more particular about his finishing, let me quote this
His actual goals have hovered around his total non-penalty xG over the past three completed seasons. Although more of a sample size is still likely needed, there’s a chance he’s the kind of forward who boosts his goal tally through lots of quality chances rather than efficient finishing on fewer opportunities.

Now the issue is, he is not an efficient finisher. His conversion rate is poor. The bolded above wouldn't have been an issue if he is going to offer something more aside goals. Unfortunately, that is not his forte.

And let me ask you this, did you at anytime think about all what is written in the article ? I mean did you find the correlation between what he offers and what we need right now as a team?

Baba kept mentioning Xhaka. Normally Xhaka's issue then is quite normal.. he reacted because he is human. I think the fans insulted his family then.
Like how are the two scenarios similar? How?
Like Auba was late to training/match and Arteta decided to ax him from the team. Our captain and highest goalscorer o but somehow Blueray wants us to believe that Osimhen's action is quite normal and the club will overlook it.

That little altercation involving Toney and Gabriel at the end of our match against Brentford was part of why Edu pulled the plug. Maybe I'll share the post here whe next I come across it.

Tbh, I don't know any clear chance Osimhen missed in this Afcon tournament. He was more of a chance creator and doing all the dirty work in that Haram system of our previous coach.

Another thing like blueray said, if you really watch Osimhen well, you'll know that all the other aspects of the game like link up, taking on players, eye for goal, strength is what he has in quantum. He's someone that can create his own chance and can convert too(something we lack in Cf position). Most people see his miss but he scores more than he misses cos he's always at the end of chances. He's not like a Jackson or Nunez that misses over and over and over again

I've always said it here that I would love Osimhen barring his injuries. I find it surprising that you would not agree to his signing due to him not having "other aspects of play". Man will really elevate us
Blueray is just contradicting himself. He has often disagree with Dave. P here anytime the latter mention the need for a good striker. His stance has always been that Arsenal needs an all-action forward who will not only score but contribute in other aspects as well. I wonder why he is all hyping Osimhen now. Someone who doesn't in anyway fits his ideology.

Bro.. ever wondered why Conte preferred Lukaku? Why is Osimhen still in the market?
Man is good but he has his limitations which majority here choose to turn blind eyes to because he is a Nigerian.

So u think if Arsenal signs Osimehn he will be a plan B ? grin grin grin grin

I don't even think you watch Osimehn well enough going by ur claim up there that aside for his presence in the box, there's nothing else to write home about him. For your information, Osimehn is well known for his presence in the box, his athleticism, strength, directness, runs into space, eye for goal and linkup play. Maybe u should take some time to watch his clips sha
Lol... Why are you forcing argument where there is none?
I made reference to that his shameful outburst and how it could affect his transfer. How does that translate to saying he is not professional at his clubside? The Jesus comparison you brought you kept hammering on, I don't know where you found it TBH.

And I can confidently put it to you that you don't watch him more than I do. That gaffe you made about Finidi doing a presser and calling him out already proved that. If Arteta wants him, he would be at Arsenal by now or we might still be working on his deal.

All yhe attributes you mentioned above is not our problem. We need someone who will come in, give us goals and elevate the quality of the team. It is your opinion if you think Osimhen is that person. BTW, remove linking up play abeg. Una too don misuse that term.

In terms of better aspect of play, you can't use that as a stick against Osimhen. There's a reason oyindamola normally tells me then that that's the kind of striker I like but another thing I like about him is his box presence.

With Osimhen, all these Martinelli across the goal crosses that Dave.P talksz about, he'll surely attack them. Infact, with Osimhen, Martinelli will shine cos he normally drift towards Martinelli side and he's good aerially.
He misses chance quite alright but he always open for more chances. I pity people who use national football (in his case Afcon) to judge players.

Like blueray said(and everyone knows), his issues is injury. That's the only tangible reason.

But I doubt we might go for him. Whether he's right or wrong, that burst off on social media with Finidi might dissuade Arteta. I strongly believe that's one of the reasons we might not be going for him and I see all these things as rumors.

Get me Osimhen and this
Yea.. he will give us a presence inside the box but his other aspect of playing is average. His major weakness is his ball-playing. He will be good for plan B especially during 'rush hour' but then spending 100m on a plan B is somehow.

And please chance is chance whether na national team or club side. Although I'm not ruling out the fact that he can tremendously improve but will he be fit enough?

As for your last paragraph, many fans don't know how thorough Edu and Arteta can be when it comes to transfer. Edu mentioned three of the things they look out for in a player before marking him as a target. The wage, age and i think performance. Remind me what was Auba's offence when he was left out of the team. Our only clinical striker o. Our captain o. And Blueray want us to believe they can't use that Finidi incident to rule him out. Should we even talk about how he shouts at his teammates during matches.

See if they sign him fine, if they don't, fine. Whatever I say here doesn't really matter. I no dey part of Arsenal staff.

You are running away and deflecting from the crux of the matter .

Is Osimhen hot headed than Xhaka who made gestures at Arsenal fans right there on the pitch ? Did Arteta not manage Xhaka and turn him to the fan’s favorites once again?

You boldly claimed a player who won a golden boot in a major league in Europe is not a prolific striker . What further evidence does one need to confirm u just don’t like him ?

Have u provided any evidence that he’s had issues with his coaches in any of the teams he’s played till date ?

Victor Ikpeba called him out and he asked him to shut up. Players like Ronaldo, Messi , Zlatan, etc have at different times told their critics to STFU. I don’t see anybody use it to judge their footballing ability .
So now, it has now changed from me not liking him to me running away? OK. grin grin

And I will like you to point out where I said he had issue with his coaches at Lille, Wolfsburg and Napoli o.

And my stance still remain that Osimhen is not exactly who we need to lead the line now. He is good in his own way but I would rather we sign a wide forward and let the goals come from different angles. And if Edu and Arteta think otherwise, it is not my business sha. So far so good, I don't think he is even in the conversation.

Finidi was called to a meeting after the second match. He was questioned on why the players turned up late to camp and other acts that were unprofessional. He answered and ended with a statement about how he can't beg any player to play. Owngoal reported their own version and mentioned Osimhen. That was what prompted Osimhen to go live and started cursing and throwing insults. But Blueraydick said Finidi did a presser. grin grin Where? When? How?

The number one issue I mentioned is his injury which is valid.
The number two is his clinicality which is also valid. As good as Osimhen is, he misses chances a lot which is a valid concern for a player we're going to buy for 100m.
His attitude is also a valid concern. I cited Toney as an example. Auba too is another example. Xhaka's issue is with the fans. He has never insulted his coach publicly. I don't understand the comparison.

So, what exactly are we arguing here gangan? Na wa o

It is not my opinion that Osimehn is a prolific striker , it is a fact. The Golden boot he won in Serie A is an evidence of that fact.

Just say u don’t like Osimehn and stop beating around the bush .

Osimmehn told Finidi he was not fit and needs to continue rehabilitation so he won’t be able to feature in the match vs South Africa. Osimhen then opted to stay in Camp just to motivate his fellow players .

When Finidi was doing a presser and was asked about Osimehn not starting the South African match , Finidi threw him under the bus by saying he can’t force osimhen to play for super eagles

That statement painted Osimehn as being fit but not wanting to play for the team . He lost his cool and reacted brashly by doing that live video; an action he later regretted .

Stop making it seem like Osimehn is some troublesome player who is always having issues with his coaches . Ives asked u to bring evidence that Osimehn was having issues with his coaches in Lille, Wolfsborg and Napoli but I don’t bring any.

Just say u don’t like Osimehn. Xhaka that was really really hot headed , Arteta managed him .
I knew it will generate into me not liking Osimhen when this argument started. So predictable.

As for the bolded, you go like prove where Finidi threw Osimhen under the bus during presser? When was the presser done? Just a link is enough. Do you even know about his outburst against Ikpeba after that WC qualifier against Ghana? Of course no.
The only reference I made about his hot headedness is there on the internet. Everybody is aware. Na you know where you see Wolfsburg and Lille o.

I don't even understand the point u are trying to make.

Everybody has been asking Arteta to sign a striker who can actually score goals; here is Osimhen who has scored goals enough to win him golden boot in an elite league in Europe and suddenly he no longer fit the profile of a quality striker. How? Explain.

If ur concern is about injury, that is a genuine concern which everybody shares about him.

I repeat again, none of our current striker options is as good as Osimehn when it comes to scoring goals; If u have data that suggests otherwise please provide it.

Which attitude does Osimehn have at all clubs he has played for? Show us evidence of his coaches in the respective clubs he has played for complaining about that attitude. I know it is the spat he had with Finidi George that is making u talk about "attitude" . The funny thing is it was Finidi's lack of man management that led to the spat between them.
I gave three valid reasons sha but you just chose to ignore them. You may not see his bad side but his transfer issue should tell you something.

About his attitude, everybody know he is hot-headed. Imagine going live to insult your own coach. To think he was even reacting to a fake report o. Maybe Mourinho might overlook this, but Arteta? I doubt. Let me tell you that was not the first time he would be in the news for the wrong reason.
