Amazing.
Yeah..

So if a team like Madrid were lucky as you said, what would you say about a team that played tikitaka and dominated for the whole 90 minutes only to lose the final?

At this rate, Vieira and Kiwior are not exempted from the clear out.

The Senegalese ladies are just not good headers otherwise they would have punished the SA side alot with their height and strength..they are too tall n physically fit..

They should try and maximize their height advantage, the last time I saw a team having this kind of height advantage was Germany 2007–2015 set where 70% of their players were very tall..
I think Senegal teams generally are not good in that aspect because their male team has the same issue.

Like..how can you be that tall and physical and you couldn't use it to our advantage?

Iffy chance is Slim right now especially struggling with an Ankle injury again will she be fit enough to make the 18players list.?

Rasheedat Ajibade, Uchenna Kanu and Rinsola Babajide are definitely out top3 Wingers going to the Olympics, Asisat Oshoala have a spot, Ihezuo, Esther and Iffy are the ones battling for the last 2 spot upfront..

After the Olympics Randy should go sort for a Proper No.9 not all this regular forwards and false 9 he’s using.. We need a typical No.9 like Ada Hergeberg, Katoto, Stina Blackstenius or better still give Macleans a chance..
Ify had that striker spot on a platter of gold but she fumbled upon several expectations. Well, she might just come back and reclaim it. All good. Yea..we need a striker. And please Randy should please stop this coward attitude and play Rinsola.

the feeling from Arsenal is they won’t buy a superstar player this summer and if they go ahead to buy Sesko there won’t be any need to sign Osimhen
You're actually wrong. The last phase of the manager's plan is to buy superstars. You should have seen a glimpse of that by their recent signings.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mostob(m): 10:56am On Jun 02, 2024
If Arsenal is looking at Italy for a striker, they would go for Vlahovic. Talent is important but availability is also important. Osimhen's main Achilles is his injury issues. Why should Arsenal go for him when there is a certain Gabriel Jesus in the squad?

So because Arsenal are going for Sesko mean they don't want to spend again? The same club that paid 100m on Rice and were willing to spend 90m on Mudryk.

Which one is "with Harry Kane in that team" that Harry stuff na only African mentality. Remember they once said messi can't win international trophy, he later won. They said man city can never win ucl, they won. So I know his time will still come if he doesn't give up. cool
None of the examples you mentioned here were as peculiar as Harry Kane's though

Lol baba forget Chelsea's neglect of their first team at the present those guys have a lot of young talent on their hands, paez and Estevao playing for one team provided they fulfill their potential looks quite promising and that's aside cole palmer
Harry Kane talk na just banter, he still has like 3 years to win the UCL with that side, I don't think Bayern is that mid though I'm also not sure about kompany being hired to bring the best of them
It is not by having lot of youngsters. It is about utilizing them well. Most of these signings can't even boast of playing 10 full games this season due to injury. You cleared out your squad and started filling them up with young and injury proned players. Imagine! And the way they change coaches without the building reaching a mature stage will unbalance them. Pochettino was getting his rythm with the team and now, they have sacked him.

Yea... Harry Kane own na banter but the thing is looking serious. Imagine Bayern going trophyless the season he joined the.

Most of what i said is based on what is available so far in the team. That is why many of us have swallowed our pain as Oparanozie successor is no more. I don't like the fact that she's the only one with such in any match for the SF since that header( 2yrs and nobody has replicated that and that is worrisome)

So, don't take it that way. The angle is about exploiting the biggest weakness of Spain, which imo, ihezuo can't offer. If we go the ihezuo route, it will just be England repeat where we defend well but no attacking bite.
It's up to her to prove me wrong.
Did you watch Ihezuo against South Africa? Moreso, we ain't going to be doing cross and nod for a whole 90 minutes. There will be a time when the striker will need to drop deep or run behind.

What is ify going to do against spain ? Stand around in the box waiting for cross because she scored one header 2 years ago ? How you prefer ify to pressing machine ihezuo ? You don't know we have to press spain from the front and not allw them build from the back .....ihezuo , babajide and ajibade are going to be vital against spain
Thank you!!!

I was about to quote him when I saw your reply. In the here and now, Ify is way way down the pecking order. And this is not me being too judgemental. She had her chance but messed it up.

Sadly we're not the only ones in a rebuilding phase,
Arsenal is building a juggernaut
Chelsea is building
I don't know how man city would fare when pep leaves
Liverpool is building
Bayern are shit now but they're also building

In a few years time there'll be more competitors to vardrid's throne like the good old days compared to now that it's only City that's mostly a threat to them
Thankfully while others mostly have money to strengthen our financial situation has made us look inwards to find gems in lamasia, with the new Spotify and other sales we should get some good players to supplement our core
Chelsea is not building anything. Forget those ridiculous signings.

It will take a miracle for Bayern to win something again with Harry Kane in that team.

I have a feeling, Arsenal will buy Osimhen simply cos of his mentality and cos Osimhen publicly declared he wants Arsenal!
I did state few months ago, Arsenal will suit Osimhen the most!
With an Osimhen in Arsenal, Man City time will come to an end!
When did Osimhen publicly declared he wants Arsenal?

Benjamin Sesko is who Arsenal is currently working on. No dey feed us with fabu here. One thing Arsenal will consider before signing a player is availability. And this doesn't favour Osimhen at all.

In 90minutes of game Haven’t seen Ucheibe locked some one up with her marking, Can’t even remember when till date, Maybe i should think fessss my mind will recall...
That's because Ayinde is the one been mostly tasked with the responsibility.

Ucheibe will be restricted and underutilized if asked to man Mark just a single player.

Ayinde will give you a tight marking but Ucheibe will lock you up and throw the key away.

Eze was invited to trainw either the SE , he had already played in the QPR first team. The NFF had the option to cap him but declined and waited for 2 plus + before remembering him after several promises made.

When he hed blown they remembered him.

What if his performance then was poor? Like he didn't really impress during the training

Sesko drums are rolling hard.

I don't like the way some Arsenal fans think sometimes.
To me, it is better we do like we don't have Kai and then make a very big decision for that 9 role. That way, the balance of our attack will tilt to the new arrival and Kai will be backup. Many Gunners just want any striker "because Kai is still there"

And they wantu compete against the biggest and most daring teams in UCL? Mentality mehn..

Treat it like nobody dey on ground jare. Sesko is not bad. But there are better options IMO.
Kai again? Oya who do you think we should go for that will 'show' we do not have Kai?
Which Striker is currently available that will show we have mentality?

Hmmmm...
We need to hear Arteta's version too cos I can't believe he would be this inhumane especially knowing how Auba really helped him.

Also, Auba is a big influence in the dressing room and it might obviously cause division amongst the players if they see that he's inhumanly treated but the way they carried on suggests otherwise.

Omorr...
The whole issue was not based on the story Auba narrated here. I remember Arteta saying he has a Dozier of all Auba's shortcomings. Even from this story, there are still loopholes.

1. Why didn't Auba communicate his decision to arrive late with Arteta?

2. You said you want to go and pick your mother but we saw the pictures of you getting a new tattoo on the internet.

3. You couldn't do Covid test before joining up with the squad thereby exposing others to the virus.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang REVEALS his side of the CLASH with Mikel Arteta:

“It was during the COVID period and we were playing, I think, Everton. My season wasn't great, we were struggling in the league and the day before the coach told us: 'Look, it doesn't matter if we win or not, you have a day off. But if you want to leave, you notify yourself before the match because you have to follow the health safety rules.'

My mother a few months before had a stroke, it was hot and it was going to be Christmas time so I went to see the coach and I said to him: 'Coach, I'm coming to see you because I'd like to leave, I'm going to go pick up my mother to bring her back for the holidays.' He tells me no problem. He knew very well what had happened, the day it happened he had already given me permission to go see her. So he gives me authorization and tells me to check with the doc about the return in relation to covid.

I'm going home to Laval, normally I was supposed to leave on the free day and return in the evening rather than the morning of training. My mother had exams to do, I couldn't leave in the evening so I left the next morning on training day. Once I got there, I had to take my test but in fact I should have done it the day before since I was coming from another country.

I arrive, the coach finishes his meeting and then he grabs me and he completely tears me up, he shouts at me like I'm crazy, he says: 'You put a knife in my back. You can't do that to me given the times we're going through.' At that moment I tell myself that I'm not going to answer him because it's going to end in steak. I didn't go partying. He knows very well the reason for my departure so at that moment I don't understand why he is lecturing me like this.

I go home and the doctor calls me from behind, he says to me: 'Tomorrow, the coach doesn't want you to be there.' I said ok, I knew the next match was coming and I said to myself: 'Damn once again everyone is going to talk about it, it's going to be a mess, what is this crazy thing.' I couldn't understand it was lunar.

The days pass and the doctor tells me: 'Look, he doesn't want you to be with the group anymore, but you will be able to come and train but separately.' I say to myself ok... And then afterwards, he calls me and we have a meeting so he can explain to me that one, he's taking away the captain's armband, and two, I'm training more with the group. Once again, he explains why he is against me during this period when it was complicated for the club. That I have to be an example and that I couldn't do that. At that moment, I said: 'I admit that I have my share of responsibility but the real cause I think you can understand if you are a little bit human. You can understand my move.'

After that, it was over, I stayed for a month training on my own while waiting for the break.” [@Colinterview]
