Mod Bruno is not even in this team lol Imagine what the guy typed. Coming from someone calling everybody here buffoon. He doesn't even know who is in camp and those who are not. |

Katcall: All of you shouting we will beat Benin are sounding buffoonish. Ordinary Lesotho at home, you cannot beat. Zimbabwe, you struggled to salvage a point and you want to beat benin. Wake up and smell the coffee. We are on the verge of not qualifying for the mundial for the second time in a row. Rubbish My highly respected elder buffoon, Thank you for the compliment. I'll take it as a badge of honour from an expert in buffoonery like yourself. |

Jodera: I don't think it matters. I don't know about newspapers but I've seen online sports cover page where England won and Saka was shown.
He's England Golden boy too and he's also their best player (b2b). Does that not count?
Yeah Kane pictures would have been appropriate too (as per captain) but would you have looked at it this way if foden pix was the one littered everywhere? I'll like to see the posters whenever England win any of their matches sha. I hope the newspapers keep the same energy. |

I don't know what Finidi's idea was but Onuachu clearly was absent on the field and should have been off sooner. Anyway, my guy don seal his fate just like Dessers He has sealed his faith since. |

Well, we have the chance to top our group on Monday. let's just win Benin CONVINCINGLY because the whole thing might go down to GD at the end of the day.
The most shocking thing I read here yesterday was some peeps mentioning Jose Peseiro. Like was he not the one who drew the first two matches? I dey ask abeg Matches we ought to have won on a normal day. Baba denied us an AFCON trophy by listing almost 5 injured players in that final match when capable and fresh replacements are on the bench. |

The ref is terrible mehn... that foul on Bashiru was a penalty. It was even one of the easiest decisions. Like the South Africa player went sliding, missed the ball and hit Bashiru. The decision didn't even need VAR to confirm. |

Odunayaw: Finidi George on Victor Boniface;
"Allow us to do our jobs."
"We wanted to introduce Boniface and Moffi, but Semi had a knock and we had to take him off and introduce Moffi and Onyedika.
"The fans and media would shout for different players, if they don't perform well, the shout will be, take him off. Allow us to do our jobs." When you don't do your job properly, na the fans go teach you. No rational coach will bench Boniface for Onuachu. Baba dey use knock as excuse. |

Joebie: This is how we should start. I'm okay with Chukwueze coming from the bench.
I would rather of Onyeka when fit, than Yusuf come in That second 11 is ok attack wise but I prefer Bassey in central defence. Maybe Awaziem or even Sodiq will start at RB while Bright moves to LB. |

EEGA: Ndidi played CB last 2 seasons. He always has this knack of locating Iheanacho when via long balls whenever he starts in central defence.
That's why Iheanacho's goals 2 season's ago were always assisted by Ndidi when he starts as a CB.
They have this telepathic understanding both on and off the pitch. Two seasons ago is a long long long time ago sir. His assists for Nacho came from midfield |

Who is the best team in the world?
Messi: The best team in the world is Real Madrid. They are the current European champions.
If we talk about results, Real Madrid is the best. If we are talking about performance, Manchester City, led by Pep, is the best.
cc Thegoodjoe. Which is more important? Performance or Results? |

Every player should play in their natural positions abeg... This is not the time to start experimenting. Let Ndidi start as the b2b he has been playing for Leceister, I'll prefer Raph as the DM ahead of Onyeka. Iwobi will complete the Midfield trio. Moddi, Lookman and Boni up top. O pari. Na that defence I no sabi |

EEGA: If you have been following the national team you must have noticed a dearth of ball-playing centre backs in the team after Leon Balogun's retirement from the national team.
Ndidi might not be a Kimpbepe but he can easily play the ball out from the back.He will be saddled with the responsibility of building from the rear. Well.. he can still distribute from Midfield. And Ndidi is not exactly a distributor as explained here by you. That's not his forte. |

EEGA: Finidi is correct.Ndidi has played the central defence role a couple of times in a back 3 formation.A mid-field with two creative midfielders and one box2box/DMF will see us creating a lot of chances for our forwards.Fisayo Dele Bashiru as AMF,Iwobi as CMF/DLP and Onyeka as the DMF.( When did he played last as a CB please? |

germaphobe: I was used to the fast life, started making my own money before 13, getting things every little street kid would wish for and enjoying the crazy life of always getting it how I wanted, then came 2020, that year bleeped me up(but it's still by biggest year cus I became more enlightened). I wanted to be more faster than I was, I was tryna run ahead of everyone and yet setting a standard too high for myself. Then 2022 I met powerful men who would do everything in their might to stay low and hidden, I leaned patient and it's virtue. And truely I now understand that each race is different and not all athletes can run all races. Hmm... word. Thanks for sharing |
